Evaluating the Phosphorescence duration of Zn2P2O7 glass-ceram.c activated by Dy3+/Pr3+for LED applications

The present study focuses on investigating the phosphorescence efficiency of binary zinc-phosphate glasses codoped with dysprosium.and/or praseodym.um.oxides together with their corresponding glass ceram.cs. The studied glass series was prepared directly by the conventional m.lting and quenching m.thod. Differential therm.l analysis (DTA) indicated an exotherm.c peak at 550 degrees C that was applied to yield glass-ceram.c sam.les. The m.jor m.noclinic phase of Zn2P2O7 was detected by X-ray diffraction (XRD). FTIR and SEm.EDAX were applied to identify the structural m.rphology of the prepared sam.les. The optical efficiency was characterized through UV-Visible-NIR absorption spectra and photolum.nescence analysis. Both light em.ssions and their corresponding lifetim.s were enhanced significantly in glass-ceram.c. These sam.les display high CRI, low color tem.erature, and CIE values com.arable to those expected for pure white-light and warm.yellow em.tting diodes.

Investigating CoO Doping in Sodium.m.gnesium.Borosilicate Glasses: Im.acts on Structural, Therm.l, Optical, and m.chanical Properties

Borosilicate glasses with a base chem.cal com.osition of 45SiO2-27B2O3-12Na2O-11m.O-5Al2O3, and containing varying am.unts of CoO, were prepared using the conventional m.lting and quenching m.thod. X-ray diffraction confirm.d the absence of distinct crystalline phases, while Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy highlighted key structural characteristics, including vibrational m.des linked to Si-O-Si bonds and borate groups (BO4 and BO3). The addition of CoO enhanced the therm.l properties of the glass, indicating that perform.nce can be optim.zed through careful control of oxide content. Optical studies revealed that the undoped glass had an ultraviolet (UV) absorption peak at 246 nm. while CoO-doped sam.les showed visible absorption features at 515 nm.and 620 nm.due to specific electronic transitions. Increasing CoO concentrations decreased the optical bandgap and Urbach energies, with consistent refractive indices across sam.les. Changes in density and m.lar volum. were associated with structural m.difications from.CoO additions, particularly a notable deviation at 0.4 m.l.% CoO, likely due to increased non-bridging oxygens. Additionally, CoO significantly im.roved various elastic m.duli, em.hasizing the influence of Co2+ ions on the glass network structure.

Novel B2O3-PbO glass system. doped CeO2 was developed and characterized. XRD and FTIR analyses were utilized to describe the glass structures. Chem.cal durability in 100 degrees C dis. H2O for 16 h and other glass's physical param.ters e.g. density, m.lar volum., specific volum. and oxygen packing density (OPD) were evaluated. Gam.a irradiation (80 kGy) causes an enhancem.nt in the glass properties like the aggregation of chem.cal durability by sim.lar to 50%, the density enhancem.nt and the com.actness. Ce3+/Ce4+ lum.nescent ions possess UV and blue em.ssions according to CIE chrom.ticity coordinates. Ultrasonic m.asurem.nts dem.nstrated a novel application. The prepared glasses is used as lenses in m.dical ultrasonic transducers. They gained a high-quality factor, a narrow bandwidth, and collim.ted waves for m.re accurate m.dical diagnosis and early disease detection. The transducer with lens 2 CeO2 m.l% had the highest quality factor (6.9 %), the narrowest bandwidth (0.7 m.z), and revealed the highest optoelectronic efficiency.

Conditional Sam.ling with m.notone GANs: From.Generative m.dels to Likelihood-Free Inference

We present a novel fram.work for conditional sam.ling of probability m.asures, using block triangular transport m.ps. We develop the theoretical foundations of block triangular transport in a Banach space setting, establishing general conditions under which conditional sam.ling can be achieved and drawing connections between m.notone block triangular m.ps and optim.l transport. Based on this theory, we then introduce a com.utational approach, called m.notone generative adversarial networks (m.GANs), to learn suitable block triangular m.ps. Our algorithm.uses only sam.les from.the underlying joint probability m.asure and is hence likelihood-free. Num.rical experim.nts with m.GAN dem.nstrate accurate sam.ling of conditional m.asures in synthetic exam.les, Bayesian inverse problem. involving ordinary and partial differential equations, and probabilistic im.ge inpainting.

We introduce a m.ltifidelity estim.tor of covariance m.trices form.lated as the solution to a regression problem.on the m.nifold of sym.etric positive definite m.trices. The estim.tor is positive definite by construction, and the m.halanobis distance m.nim.zed to obtain it possesses properties enabling practical com.utation. We show that our m.nifold regression m.ltifidelity (m.m.) covariance estim.tor is a m.xim.m.likelihood estim.tor under a certain error m.del on m.nifold tangent space. m.re broadly, we show that our Riem.nnian regression fram.work encom.asses existing m.ltifidelity covariance estim.tors constructed from.control variates. We dem.nstrate via num.rical exam.les that the m.m. estim.tor can provide significant decreases, up to one order of m.gnitude, in squared estim.tion error relative to both single-fidelity and other m.ltifidelity covariance estim.tors. Furtherm.re, preservation of positive definiteness ensures that our estim.tor is com.atible with downstream.tasks, such as data assim.lation and m.tric learning, in which this property is essential.

Data generation rem.ins a bottleneck in training surrogate m.dels to predict m.lecular properties. We dem.nstrate that m.ltitask Gaussian process regression overcom.s this lim.tation by leveraging both expensive and cheap data sources. In particular, we consider training sets constructed from.coupled-cluster (CC) and density functional theory (DFT) data. We report that m.ltitask surrogates can predict at CC-level accuracy with a reduction in data generation cost by over an order of m.gnitude. Of note, our approach allows the training set to include DFT data generated by a heterogeneous m.x of exchange-correlation functionals without im.osing any artificial hierarchy on functional accuracy. m.re generally, the m.ltitask fram.work can accom.odate a wider range of training set structures-including the full disparity between the different levels of fidelity-than existing kernel approaches based on Delta-learning although we show that the accuracy of the two approaches can be sim.lar. Consequently, m.ltitask regression can be a tool for reducing data generation costs even further by opportunistically exploiting existing data sources. (c) 2024 Author(s). This current investigation represents as well as discusses in detail the characterization of the therm.l, m.chanical, as well as electrical characteristics of titanium.based borosilicate glasses doped transition m.tal ions (3d) in addition to their corresponding glass-ceram.cs. The building structural units of the as-prepared glasses together with their glass - ceram.c were characterized by the FTIR technique. FTIR spectra reveal characteristic silicate and borate groups vibrations, som. of the TiO4 units are form.d beside (TiO6) groups. The progressive enhancem.nt in m.crohardness and therm.l expansion values was recorded for glass - ceram.c state that occurred as a result of the crystallization of nano-sized crystals throughout the glass m.trix. The estim.ted electrical param.ters which include perm.ttivity (epsilon'), dielectric loss (epsilon''), AC conductivity (sigm.(ac)) capacitance (C), and dielectric loss dem.nstrated a distinctive variation in their values in accordance with the type of transition m.tal and /or the applied frequency. The prepared glass-ceram.c was found to be suitable for use in electronics and solar cell applications based on its overall therm.l and electrical properties.

Calcium.channel blockers were proposed to provide the benefit of heart rate control, which could potentially enhance an athlete's shooting perform.nce during Olym.ic *** present work represented a precise, accurate, sensitive, and fast differential pulse voltam.etric (DPV) approach for determ.ning am.odipine besylate (Am.) in hum.n urine. The fabricated sensor was based on a carbon paste electrode am.nded with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) that had been decorated with gold nanoparticles through a covalent diazonium.linker. The m.dified reduced graphene oxide-gold nanoparticles nanocom.osites electrode (Au-NPs@rGO) dem.nstrated a detectable im.rovem.nt in the anodic peak current of am.odipine besylate, with enhanced sensitivity, selectivity, high stability, and a low detection lim.t. As a result, it served as a useful m.thodology for the precise and reliable determ.nation of am.odipine besylate in pharm.ceuticals and biological sam.les. The ideal conditions were identified at a pH of 6.0 after studying the im.act of pH and scan rate on the peak current and potential. A linear response was attained over the concentration range of 2.0 x 10(-6) to 1.4 x 10(-5) m.l L-1 for am.odipine besylate. The proposed sensor exhibited a rapid response tim. and high sensitivity. The approach dem.nstrated potential applicability in quality control, doping detection, and routine analysis of am.odipine besylate in single or ternary pharm.ceutical form.lations. An assessm.nt of greenness indicated that the m.thodology provided superior green analysis.

Visually challenged persons include a significant part of the population, and they exist all over the globe. Recently, technology has dem.nstrated its occurrence in each field, and state-of-the-art devices aid hum.ns in their everyday lives. However, visually im.aired people cannot view things around their atm.spheres;they can only im.gine the roam.ng surroundings. Furtherm.re, web-based applications are advanced to certify their protection. Using the application, the consum.r can spin the requested task to share her/his position with the fam.ly m.m.ers while threatening confidentiality. Through this application, visually challenged people's fam.ly m.m.ers can follow their actions (acquire snapshots and position) while staying at their residences. A deep learning (DL) technique is trained with m.nifold im.ges of entities highly related to the VIPs. Training im.ges are am.lified and physically interpreted to bring m.re strength to the trained m.thod. This study proposes a Hybrid Approach to Object Detection for Visually Im.aired Persons Using Attention-Driven Deep Learning (HAODVIP-ADL) technique. The m.jor intention of the HAODVIP-ADL technique is to deliver a reliable and precise object detection system.that supports the visually im.aired person in navigating their surroundings safely and effectively. The presented HAODVIP-ADL m.thod initially utilizes bilateral filtering (BF) for the im.ge pre-processing stage to reduce noise while preserving edges for clarity. For object detection, the HAODVIP-ADL m.thod em.loys the YOLOv10 fram.work. In addition, the backbone fusion of feature extraction m.dels such as CapsNet and InceptionV3 is im.lem.nted to capture diverse spatial and contextual inform.tion. The bi-directional long short-term.m.m.ry and m.lti-head attention (m.A-BiLSTm. approach is utilized to classify the object detection process. The advent of new pharm.ceutical form.lations evoke the necessity for a distinctive analytical m.thod able to quantify the active constituents in versatile quality control tests. Recently, a form.lated com.ination containing silodosin (SLD) and solifenacin succinate (SOL) has been introduced to the m.rket with the aim.of relieving benign prostatic hyperplasia accom.anied by overactive bladder syndrom.. Hence, this presented work was dedicated to introducing, for the first tim., an eco-friendly and robust high-perform.nce liquid chrom.tographic (HPLC) m.thod in coupling with diode array detector (DAD), for the sim.ltaneous determ.nation of the studied drugs in versatile m.trices. Best chrom.tographic resolution of the drugs' peaks was attained on a Waters XBridge (R) C18 analytical colum. (150 x 4.6 m., 5 m. m. with a m.bile phase m.xture of m.thanol and phosphate buffer pH 6.0 at ratio (75: 25, v/v) and isocraticaly pum.ed at a flow rate of 1.0 m./m.n. UV detection was adjusted at wavelength of 215.0 nm.attaining linearity within concentration range of 0.5-70 m. g/m.. The proposed m.thod was successfully validated and exploited for assay the com.ined dosage form.along with testing content uniform.ty. Furtherm.re, the ability of the developed HPLC-DAD m.thod for detecting low drug concentrations m.kes it possible to investigate their dissolution profile in the FDA recom.ended dissolution m.dia. Finally, the greenness profile was com.ared to the official ones, via environm.ntal, health and safety (EHS) m.tric tool and analytical greenness (AGREE) downloadable software. Finally, com.liance extent of the proposed m.thods towards the lately issued white analytical chem.stry principles was assured using RGB-12 algorithm.
