Construction stakeholders aim.at lim.ting the im.act of the construction sector on the natural environm.nt to assure sustainability. The construction industry form. a significant portion of the Egyptian GDP and em.loys m.llions of labor force and consum.s m.st of the country's energy and its prim.ry resources. Egypt faces dual pressure of m.intaining econom.c growth and largely reducing carbon em.ssions. This study aim. at exploring the effect of finance-growth-energy nexus on carbon em.ssions for Egypt over the 1990-2050 period. By em.loying the system.dynam.cs approach, the study tries to capture the im.act of som. investm.nt policies on the consum.tion of energy, financial developm.nt and econom.c growth in addition to linking them.with the carbon em.ssions of Egypt in a sim.lation m.del using Vensim.(R) PLE software. The m.del provides the policy m.kers with a sim.lating tool supporting their decisions. The findings reveal that both construction technology, represented in construction m.terials and construction m.chinery, and labor education are m.in keys of true sustainable developm.nt. Several policies are exam.ned to study system.behavior and revealed that it is not enough to capture the technology in order to achieve developm.nt, and suitable education and training courses should be provided to deliver labor force that can use and im.rove such technologies. The proposed m.thodology aids construction in Egypt which is considered a strong indicator of the country's econom.c strength. The construction industry form. a significant portion of the Egyptian GDP and em.loys m.llions of labor force and consum.s m.st of the country's energy and its prim.ry resources. To rem.in vital, the construction industry is dem.nding better, safer, energy-efficient and m.re affordable construction m.terials and technology.

Gastrointestinal (GI) cancer detection includes the detection of cancerous or potentially cancerous lesions within the GI tract. Earlier diagnosis is critical for increasing the success of treatm.nt and im.roving patient outcom.s. m.dical im.ging plays a m.jor role in diagnosing and detecting GI cancer. CT scans, endoscopy, m.I, ultrasound, and positron em.ssion tom.graphy (PET) scans can help detect lesions, abnorm.l m.sses, and changes in tissue structure. Artificial intelligence (AI) and m.chine learning (m.) m.thods are being gradually applied to m.dical im.ging for cancer diagnosis. m. algorithm., including deep learning m.thodologies like convolutional neural network (CNN), are applied frequently for cancer diagnosis. These m.dels learn features and patterns from.labelled datasets to discrim.nate between norm.l and abnorm.l areas in m.dical im.ges. This article presents a new Harbor Seal Whiskers Optim.zation Algorithm.with Deep Learning based m.dical Im.ging Analysis for Gastrointestinal Cancer Detection (HSWOA-DLGCD) technique. The goal of the HSWOA-DLGCD algorithm.is to explore the GI im.ges for the cancer diagnosis. In order to accom.lish this, the HSWOA-DLGCD system.applies bilateral filtering (BF) approach for the rem.val of noise. In addition, the HSWOA-DLGCD technique m.kes use of HSWOA with Xception m.del for feature extraction. For cancer recognition, the HSWOA-DLGCD technique applies extrem. gradient boosting (XGBoost) m.del. Finally, the param.ters com.ared with the XGBoost system.can be selected by m.th flam. optim.zation (m.O) system. The experim.ntal results of the HSWOA-DLGCD technique could be verified on the Kvasir database. The sim.lation outcom. dem.nstrated a best possible solution of the HSWOA-DLGCD m.thod than other recent m.thods.

Cardiovascular diseases, especially hypertension, stand as prom.nent contributors to global m.rtality. Hypertension, often referred to as a silent killer syndrom., necessitates the use of m.ltiple m.dications for effective control and m.nagem.nt. A new environm.ntally friendly HPLC-DAD m.thod is introduced in this study for the concurrent analysis of telm.sartan (TEL), chlorthalidone (CHT) and am.odipine besylate (Am.), in both pure form. and com.ined pharm.ceutical dosage form. An isocratic elution m.de was em.loyed to achieve chrom.tographic separation, utilizing an Inertsil C-18 colum. (250 x 4.6 m., 5.0 m. m. and a m.bile phase m.xture of acetonitrile and phosphate buffer (pH 3.0 +/- 0.1) with ratio of 35:65, v/v. The separation was achieved within 10 m.n at a flow rate of 1.0 m./m.n. The proposed m.thod's validation was carried out following the guidelines outlined by the International Council for Harm.nisation (ICH). The achieved linearity range was 1.0-140.0 m. g/m. for TEL and 1.0-100.0 m. g/m. for CHT and Am. with quantification lim.ts of 0.061, 0.177, and 0.313 m. g/m. for TEL, CHT, and Am., respectively. The fixed com.ination tablet dosage form.dem.nstrated acceptable release profile, as indicated by the in-vitro dissolution studies. The studied dissolution m.dia were phosphate buffer pH 7.5, 0.01 N HCl, and water, utilizing a USP type II apparatus at 37 +/- 0.5 degrees C with a stirring rate of 75 rpm. The proposed m.thod was applied successfully for the quality assessm.nt of Telm.-ACT (R) Tablets with good precision and accuracy. Various tools were used for evaluating the level of greenness, including Green Analytical Procedure Index (GAPI), Analytical Greenness m.tric for Sam.le Preparation (AGREEprep), Analytical Eco-Scale (AES), and Analytical m.thod Greenness Score (Am.S). Crystallization effects on the photolum.nescence efficiency of SrO-B2O3 glass activated by W⁶⁺, Eu³⁺, Dy³⁺ or Pr³⁺ ions

Binary strontium.borate host glass together with sam.les doped with 0.25 %WO3 and one of the rare - earth ions (0.125% Eu3+, Dy3+ or Pr3+) were prepared by conventional m.lting - annealing technique. DTA analysis of the host base glass was carried out to derive the proper tem.eratures which are necessary to convert glasses into their corresponding glass-ceram.c through controlled therm.l heat -treatm.nt regim.. m.asurem.nts of optical, FTIR, and PL spectra were carried out with special analysis of the spectral properties. The identity of glass - ceram.c derivatives were investigated through x-ray diffraction, and TEm.& SEm.tools to identify their crystalline m.rphological features. The absorption spectrum.of WO3 (-) doped glass refers to the existence of dom.nant hexavalent tungsten ions. The RE-doped glass reveal characteristic visible - NIR absorption peaks due to the respective rare earth ions. FTIR spectra show absorption bands due to both triangular and tetravalent borate groups (BO3, BO4). PL spectra reveal excitation and em.ssion characteristic peaks due to each specific rare earth ions. XRD indicate the preference of the host glass to form.strontium.pyroborate (SrB4O7) crystalline phase. This facilitates the clear knowledge of the crystallization behavior and hence can justify the effect of the crystallization on the studied properties. (C) 2022 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Ipratropium.brom.de (IPR) and fenoterol hydrobrom.de (FEN) have recently been com.ined in a prom.sing inhaler to treat two prevalent inflam.atory illnesses of the airways: bronchial asthm. and chronic obstructive pulm.nary disease (COPD). The necessity for a single, sensitive, and trustworthy analytical approach to cover the diverse and necessary tests of in-vitro and in-vivo studies is greatly grown with the rising production of new fixed com.inations. Two novel, selective and environm.ntally friendly LC techniques were developed in order to guarantee precise m.asurem.nt of IPR and FEN in their challenging form.lation. The initial technique involved high-perform.nce thin-layer chrom.tography (HPTLC) in conjunction with densitom.tric quantification. Chrom.tographic separation was attained on HPTLC plates utilizing ethyl acetate - ethanol - acetic acid (5.0:5.0:0.1, by volum.) as a developing system. Densitom.tric quantification of the separated bands was carried out at 220.0 nm.over concentration ranges of 0.50-15.0 m. g/band for IPR and 0.50-12.0 m. g/band for FEN. High-perform.nce liquid chrom.tography (HPLC) paired with diode array detection (DAD) was the core of the second technique. The optim.zed separation was achieved on a Zorbax SB C18 (150 x 4.6 m., 5 m. m. colum. with a com.ination of 10.0 m. potassium.dihydrogen orthophosphate, pH 5.0 +/- 0.1, adjusted with o-phosphoric acid and m.thanol (70:30, v/v) as the m.bile phase and pum.ed at flow rate of 1.0 m./m.n. The peaks were m.nitored at 220.0 nm.using diode array detection, achieving linearity range of 5.0-200.0 m. g/m. for both drugs. The ICH criteria have been verified and both m.thods have been confirm.d to be valid, and successfully applied for assay the cited drugs in the Atrovent (R) com. HFA m.tered dose inhaler as well as delivered dose uniform.ty testing of the final product. Judd-Ofelt and photolum.nescence analysis of Nd2O3-doped within host fluoroborate glass from.the system.B2O3-NaF-La2O3

Undoped glass of chem.cal com.osition 70B(2)O(3)-25NaF-5La(2)O(3) together with Nd2O3-doped sam.les were prepared via conventional m.lt and annealing procedure. The prepared glasses were investigated through photolum.nescence m.asurem.nts to find out their extent for the lasing application. The undoped sam.le reveals two UV absorption peaks while Nd2O3-doped sam.les show 10 well-characterized peaks in the UV-Visible range that are correlated to different transition states of Nd3+ ions. Three different bands are detected in the em.ssion spectra at 875 nm.(F-4(3/2) & RARR;I-4(9/2)), 1056 nm.(F-4(3/2) & RARR;I-4(11/2)), and 1326 nm.(F-4(3/2) & RARR;I-4(13/2)). The Judd-Ofelt param.ters (& om.ga;2, & om.ga;4, & om.ga;6) and radiative properties were estim.ted using the Judd-Ofelt theory. The represented data indicated that the transition line F-4(3/2) & RARR;I-4(11/2) is the sharpest and lowest bandwidth value than other detected transitions. The structural analysis by FTIR vibrational m.des suggested that the IR absorption bands within the range 800-1200 cm.-1) originate from.both com.ined vibrations of tetrahedral (BO4) and (BO3F) groups together with (NaF4) groups beside triangular BO3 groups which are vibrating within the range 1200-1600 cm.-1). The addition of Nd2O3 is assum.d to cause the possible transform.tion of som. structural B-O bonds within the range of triangular borate units referring to the possible form.tion of pyroborate units or sim.lar structural groups.

Glasses from.two varieties of (LiF-B2O3) and (LiF-P2O5) system. with equal 50 m.l % for each partner together with sam.les doped with 1 or 2% Bi2O3 were synthesized by m.lting-annealing m.chanism. m.ltiple optical, FTIR and photolum.nescence spectral m.asurem.nts were carried out. Optical spectra of Bi2O3-doped glasses exhibit UV-near visible peaks owing to the specific absorption of Bi3+ ions. FTIR spectra elucidate the presence of characteristic vibrational bands from.(LiF-B2O3) glass due to (BO3) and (BO3F) groups beside (LiF4) groups while the fluorophosphate glasses (LiF-P2O5) show vibrations due to PO4 and (PO3F) groups and also the possible sharing of (LiF4) groups. Photolum.nescence spectral data reveal extended em.ssion from.about 375 to 700 nm.and is m.re prom.nent in (LiF-B2O3) system.than (LiF-P2O5) system. The therm.l expansion data reveal sim.lar behavior and the derived transition and softening tem.eratures are slightly lower in (LiF-P2O5) glasses than (LiF-B2O3) glasses.

Spectral and Lum.nescence Properties of m.nganese-Ion-Doped Binary Lithium.Fluoride-Phosphate (50 LiF-50 P2O5) Glasses: Im.act of Gam.a Irradiation

Glass com.osition based on (LiF 50 m.l%-P2O5 50 m.l%) with increasing concentrations of m.O2 (0.25-2.0 m.l%) dopants were synthesized. The prepared glasses were characterized by optical, Fourier transform.infrared (FTIR) and photolum.nescence (PL) spectral analysis. Optical absorption m.asurem.nts indicate the absorption of divalent m.2+ ions that is identified only at high percent due to spin-forbidden action for the absorption of them. FTIR spectra reveal characteristic phosphate group vibrations as it is assum.d that som. LiF4 units are form.d beside (PO3F) groups. Photolum.nescence spectra reveal characteristic em.ssion and excitation peaks for divalent m.nganese ions in octahedral coordination which create the red light em.ssion. The intensity of red lum.nescence is increased by m.O2 content increase. The m.asurem.nts after gam.a irradiation indicate the stability of the studied host glass, the form.d divalent m.nganese ions are stable towards irradiation and rem.in in octahedral coordination. The alteration values of the optical param.ters are related to the structural changes in parallel increasing m.O2 content and gam.a-irradiation.

Background and Objective Astaxanthin is a naturally occurring carotenoid with high anti-oxidant properties, but it is a very lipophilic com.ound with low oral bioavailability. This study was conducted to com.are the pharm.cokinetic param.ters of a novel astaxanthin preparation based on m.cellar solubilization technology, NovaSOL (R) 400-m. capsules (Test product), and those of astaxanthin 400-m. capsules (reference product), after single oral dose adm.nistration to healthy m.le *** A single oral dose (400 m. equivalent to 8 m. astaxanthin) of test and reference astaxanthin were adm.nistered with 240 m. of water to 12 volunteers according to crossover design, in two phases, with a washout period of 1 week in between. Blood sam.les were collected at hourly intervals for the first 12 h, then at 24.0, 48.0, and 72.0 h after adm.nistration. Aliquots of plasm. were centrifuged and the clear supernatant was injected into the high perform.nce liquid chrom.tography-diode array detection (HPLC-DAD) system. Plasm. concentration of astaxanthin versus tim. profiles were constructed, and the prim.ry pharm.cokinetic param.ters, m.xim.m.concentration (C m.x), area under concentration tim. curve from.tim. of adm.nistration (0) to tim. Geom.try-inform.d irreversible perturbations for accelerated convergence of Langevin dynam.cs

We introduce a novel geom.try-inform.d irreversible perturbation that accelerates convergence of the Langevin algorithm.for Bayesian com.utation. It is well docum.nted that there exist perturbations to the Langevin dynam.cs that preserve its invariant m.asure while accelerating its convergence. Irreversible perturbations and reversible perturbations (such as Riem.nnian m.nifold Langevin dynam.cs (Rm.D)) have separately been shown to im.rove the perform.nce of Langevin sam.lers. We consider these two perturbations sim.ltaneously by presenting a novel form.of irreversible perturbation for Rm.D that is inform.d by the underlying geom.try. Through num.rical exam.les, we show that this new irreversible perturbation can im.rove estim.tion perform.nce over irreversible perturbations that do not take the geom.try into account. m.reover we dem.nstrate that irreversible perturbations generally can be im.lem.nted in conjunction with the stochastic gradient version of the Langevin algorithm. Lastly, while continuous-tim. irreversible perturbations cannot im.air the perform.nce of a Langevin estim.tor, the situation can som.tim.s be m.re com.licated when discretization is considered. To this end, we describe a discrete-tim. exam.le in which irreversibility increases both the bias and variance of the resulting estim.tor.
