Dual-stage hybrid network for single-shot fringe projection profilometry based on a phase-height model

Single-shot fringe projection profilometry (FPP) is widely used in the field of dynamic optical 3D reconstruction because of its high accuracy and efficiency. However, the traditional single-shot FPP methods are not satisfactory in reconstructing complex scenes with noise and discontinuous objects. Therefore, this paper proposes a Deformable Convolution-Based HINet with Attention Connection (DCAHINet), which is a dual-stage hybrid network with a deformation extraction stage and depth mapping stage. Specifically, the deformable convolution module and attention gate are introduced into DCAHINet respectively to enhance the ability of feature extraction and fusion. In addition, to solve the long-standing problem of the insufficient generalization ability of deep learning-based single-shot FPP methods on different hardware devices, DCAHINet outputs phase difference, which can be converted into 3D shapes by simple multiplication operations, rather than directly outputting 3D shapes. To the best of the author's knowledge, DCAHINet is the first network that can be applied to different hardware devices. Experiments on virtual and real datasets show that the proposed method is superior to other deep learning or traditional methods and can be used in practical application scenarios.

Y-FFC Net for 3D Reconstruction of Highly Reflective Surfaces

3D reconstruction plays a pivotal role in intelligent manufacturing, industrial inspection, and other fields. Fringe projection profilometry is a widely used 3D reconstruction method due to its high accuracy and noncontact nature. However, when fringe projection profilometry (FPP) is applied to reconstruct highly reflective surfaces, there are not only diffuse reflections, but also undesired specular reflections. Intense specular reflection destroys the sinusoidal characteristics of the fringe pattern, leading to a decrease in 3D reconstruction accuracy. Traditional methods, such as Multiple exposures method, require multiple redundant shots to obtain high-quality fringe patterns, which makes efficiency difficult to meet industrial measurement requirements. Inspired by the application of deep learning in 3D vision, this article proposes a Y-shaped fast Fourier convolutional network (Y-FFC) for high reflection removal to provide high-quality fringe patterns. The cosine characteristics of the grayscale gradient of the sinusoidal fringe pattern make the detection of nonsinusoidal regions more accurate in the gradient domain. In addition, the undesired specular reflection component is easier to distinguish and filter out in the frequency domain. Therefore, the design of Y-FFC fully considers the gradient and frequency information. Experimental results show that the introduction of gradient and frequency information is beneficial for high reflection removal, enabling the reconstruction of industrial workpieces with highly reflective surfaces without the need for additional shots. The mean absolute error for depth measurements of an aircraft blade with a depth of 30 mm was reduced from 0.1332 to 0.0041 mm.

An accurate measurement of high-reflective objects by using 3D structured light

Using three-dimensional structured light to measure high -reflective objects accurately is a big challenge. Some overexposed and blurred areas in the structured light fringe patterns lead to the loss of semantic and texture information on the object surface, further leading to 3D model reconstruction errors. To solve this problem, a lightweight novel network, Deformable Convolutional and Multi -scale Convolutional Network (DcMcNet), is proposed for repairing highly reflectively distorted regions in sinusoidal fringe patterns and the Gray code binary fringe patterns. DcMcNet uses deformable convolution and multi -scale convolution to realize the effective utilization of multiscale global features in repairing highly reflective distorted regions and can adapt well to the different shapes of these regions. In addition, virtual software is used to acquire large-scale and high-fidelity datasets and a diverse loss function is constructed to better optimize DcMcNet. Depth reconstruction experiments of sinusoidal fringe patterns and point cloud reconstruction experiments of Gray code binary fringe patterns show that our method can repair highly reflective distortion regions with high accuracy, and for aeronautical blades, the MAE of the depth map is reduced from 0.1608 to 0.0675, and the point cloud coverage is improved from 76.64% to 98.95%.

为了对比《左传》《战国策》的原本、现代汉语译本和英译本在语体风格上的异同,该文结合语料库和风格计算的方法,在构建大规模跨语言典籍语料库的基础上,采用CRF、BiLSTM、BiLSTM-CRF等机器学习或深度学习的模型处理语料,从词汇、语法、语句三个层面入手,选择能代表语体风格的特征进行统计,利用相关公式计算语体风格度量指标,结合原文比较典籍的语体风格。同样是以叙事为主的历史散文,《左传》《战国策》都是信息量庞大的活跃性文本,并且语言较为松散。不同之处在于《左传》语言古奥,朴素典雅,波澜起伏,含蓄内敛;《战国策》生动形象,辞藻华丽,音律和谐,气势磅礴。

Causal Relationship Between Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Preeclampsia: A Bidirectional Two-Sample Mendelian Randomized Study

BackgroundObservational epidemiologic investigations into the link between diabetes mellitus and preeclampsia (PE) have been conducted, but genetic evidence is still lacking. We utilized a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to shed light on the potential influence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) on PE at the genetic prediction *** carried out a two-sample bidirectional MR analysis, utilizing genetic variants associated with T2DM (N=461,920) and PE (N=219,817) from the largest available genome-wide association studies. Using inverse variance weighting (IVW) and five validated approaches—MR-Egger, MR-RAPS, ConMix, weighted median, and weighted mode—we derived a potential causal association between T2DM and PE. The relationship between PE and T2DM was explored using reverse MR *** two-sample MR analysis indicated a causal link between T2DM and PE, with an odds ratio of 1.10 (95% CI, 1.02–1.18; P=0.01). The weighted mode method yielded an odds ratio of 1.22 (95% CI, 1.06–1.40; P=0.019), and the weighted median method produced an odds ratio of 1.19 (95% CI, 1.04–1.36; P=0.022). However, no significant association was detected in the MR-Egger analysis. Heterogeneity was noted in the analysis of T2DM and PE, but no significant horizontal pleiotropy was observed. The results of the reverse MR analysis indicated no significant causal association between PE and *** the first time, MR analysis showed a positive causal link from T2DM to PE, but not vice versa. The limited number of SNPs in reverse analysis may affect reliability. Future studies should use more instrumental variables to strengthen findings. Further experiments are also needed to explore underlying mechanisms.

目的:观察膝骨性关节炎(KOA)患者使用腓骨高位截骨术联合关节镜下膝关节清理术治疗对患者胫骨关节间隙角的影响。方法:选取KOA患者80例分成观察组与对照组各40例,对照组实施关节镜下膝关节清理术,观察组在对照组基础上联合腓骨高位截骨术,比较患者Lysholm评分、膝关节评估表(IKDC)、胫骨关节间隙角以及胫骨关节间隙的变化。结果:术后,两组患者Lysholm评分以及IKDC评分均有提升,观察组高于对照组;两组患者胫骨关节间隙均有增加,观察组大于对照组;两组患者胫骨关节间隙角均有降低,观察组低于对照组;差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:治疗KOA应用腓骨高位截骨术联合关节镜下膝关节清理术能明显改善胫骨关节间隙角,降低炎症的同时,显著提升患者膝关节的功能恢复。

TXNIP inhibition in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus: design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of quinazoline derivatives

Thioredoxin interacting protein (TXNIP) is a potential drug target for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) treatment. A series of quinazoline derivatives were designed, synthesised, and evaluated to inhibit TXNIP expression and protect from palmitate (PA)-induced beta cell injury. In vitro cell viability assay showed that compounds D-2 and C-1 could effectively protect beta cell from PA-induced apoptosis, and subsequent results showed that these two compounds decreased TXNIP expression by accelerating its protein degradation. Mechanistically, compounds D-2 and C-1 reduced intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and modulated TXNIP-NLRP3 inflammasome signalling, and thus alleviating oxidative stress injury and inflammatory response under PA insult. Besides, these two compounds were predicted to possess better drug-likeness properties using SwissADME. The present study showed that compounds D-2 and C-1, especially compound D-2, were potent pancreatic beta cell protective agents to inhibit TXNIP expression and might serve as promising lead candidates for the treatment of T2DM.

A series of quinazoline derivatives were designed, synthesized and evaluated as TXNIP inhibitor to protect palmitate (PA)-induced β cells injury and for T2DM treatment. Most of compounds displayed potent pancreatic β cells protective activities especially for the compounds D-2 and C-1. In cell viability assay, compounds D-2 and C-1 could effectively promote β cells survival and protect β cells from PA-induced β cells apoptosis. Further cellular mechanism of action studies demonstrated that their potent β cells protective activities against PA-induced β cells apoptosis were achieved by reducing intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and modulating TXNIP-NLRP3 inflammasome signaling, and thus alleviating oxidative stress injury and inflammatory response. Besides, compounds D-2 and C-1 could inhibit TXNIP protein expression both in physiological condition and in PA-treated Min6 pancreatic β cells. Subsequent experiment showed that compounds D-2 and C-1 decrease TXNIP protein expression via accelerating its protein degradation. The present study evidently showed that compounds D-2 and C-1 were two potent pancreatic β cells protective agents as TXNIP inhibitors and might serve as promising lead candidates for the treatment of T2DM. © 2022, The Authors.
