In order to improve University Quality Education, and develop the practical ability of research and innovation of Undergraduates majoring in Biomedical Engineering, this project probes into the development of innovative experiment program for Biomedical Engineering and research on the practical ability cultivation for undergraduates from various aspects, intended to choose interesting experiment topics, encourage independent innovative experiments and efficient innovation team, on the basis of a comparison between Chinese and foreign implementation of innovative experimental program of Biomedical Engineering, combing with the applicants' teaching experiences, as well as the theories and methods in education, engineer and medicine. Moreover, it proposes a set of training hands-on ability processes with its own characteristics for Biomedical Engineering majors, which is “be experimental - participator - leader- thinking after experiment”, conducive to promote students to learn by doing, research while learning and innovate in research, as well as of great significance to enhance their innovative ability to research, practical ability and comprehensive quality.

Studies of Community-based question and answer services (cQA) have grown to be one of the emerging trends in Web information services. And one of the main tasks is to retrieve similar questions. To identify the fact that some questions with different expressions though may indeed have the same, or very similar, meaning, the similar questions are defined in syntactic, semantic and pragmatic aspects according to user retrieval intention. Five models including Language Model, Translation-based Language Model, Parser-based model, LDA and WordNet source-based model are selected as baselines. Integrated models which linearly combine WordNet, Stanford Parser and Language Model and further weighted by syntactic feature are proposed to integrate features of the three aspects. Experiment results show that our integrated models perform better than the basic models, especially when the linear combination of the WordNet model and the Stanford Parser model is weighted by syntactic information with proper noun phrases as representative. The integrated models are further verified by logistic analysis.

This neutron source is an USA (ANL)- Ukraine (KIPT) Joint project, and its accelerator will be designed and constructed by Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), China. The design and construction of such an accelerator with high average beam current and low beam power losses is a technical challenging task. In the paper, the main accelerator features and current status are under discussion.
