In order to address the issue of low efficiency and poor accuracy in measuring the radius of large vertical oil tanks, a novel measurement method based on the combination of laser tracking and wall-climbing robot was proposed in this manuscript. To solve the problem of light interruption during the laser tracking measurement process, an active spherically mounted retroreflector (SMR) device that can automatically align the laser was designed. A wall-climbing robot equipped with the active target and temperature sensor was developed to crawl on the tank wall and collect four-dimensional point cloud data. And a self-written program based on the PCL point cloud processing library was adopted to fit and calculate the tank plate radius. Furthermore, multiple measurements were carried out on a vertical oil tank with a capacity of 1000 m3, and the average radius error was only 1.39 mm, which strongly verified the repeatability and feasibility of the method proposed in this manuscript. This method provides a more effective and accurate method for measuring the radius of oil tanks, and it is foreseeable that it will be a good supplement to existing methods. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2023.

Techno-economic analysis of glucosamine and lipid production from marine diatom Cyclotella sp.

A techno-economic analysis (TEA) was performed on glucosamine and lipid production from a marine diatom Cyclotella sp. in raceway open pond (RWP) and tubular photobioreactor (PBR) cultivation systems. Two PBR operating schemes were assessed: one to produce high lipid (HL) content, and another to produce high chitin (HC) content. In order to generate 1 kg of glucosamine, 9700 kg (RWP)/1050 kg (PBR HL) freshwater, 40 kg CO2, 0.70 kg nitrogen, 0.18 kg phosphorus, and 1.2 kg silicon nutrients are required for algae cultivation with water and nutrient recovery. With a price of $1.5 for lipid as coproduct, the projected selling price of glucosamine were $35/kg, $106/kg and $82/kg for RWP, PBR HL, and PBR HC systems, respectively. Currently, these prices are not competitive with industrial shellfish-derived glucosamine, but can be reduced by technology improvements such as producing food grade lipid, increasing algal productivity or chitin content. DRL-Based Dynamic Destroy Approaches for Agile-Satellite Mission Planning

Agile-satellite mission planning is a crucial issue in the construction of satellite constellations. The large scale of remote sensing missions and the high complexity of constraints in agile-satellite mission planning pose challenges in the search for an optimal solution. To tackle the issue, a dynamic destroy deep-reinforcement learning (D3RL) model is designed to facilitate subsequent optimization operations via adaptive destruction to the existing solutions. Specifically, we first perform a clustering and embedding operation to reconstruct tasks into a clustering graph, thereby improving data utilization. Secondly, the D3RL model is established based on graph attention networks (GATs) to enhance the search efficiency for optimal solutions. Moreover, we present two applications of the D3RL model for intensive scenes: the deep-reinforcement learning (DRL) method and the D3RL-based large-neighborhood search method (DRL-LNS). Experimental simulation results illustrate that the D3RL-based approaches outperform the competition in terms of solutions' quality and computational efficiency, particularly in more challenging large-scale scenarios. DRL-LNS outperforms ALNS with an average scheduling rate improvement of approximately 11% in Area instances. In contrast, the DRL approach performs better in World scenarios, with an average scheduling rate that is around 8% higher than that of ALNS.

The climate and environment of the Tibetan Plateau (TP) are sensitive to human activities. As a key component highly influencing global climate and environment, organic aerosol over the TP is investigated in this study, especially in organic composition and its sources. This study aims to explore the composition characteristics, seasonal variation, and potential sources of organic aerosol including two episodes through one-year sampling at the Yangbajing (YBJ) site in the TP. A total of 120 primary and secondary organic species as well as organic carbon (OC) and elemental carbon (EC) were measured in PM2.5. The annual average concentrations of OC, EC, and organic species were 3.12 +/- 3.73 mu gC/m3, 0.28 +/- 0.18 mu gC/m3 and 104 +/- 36.6 ng/m3, respectively. High ratio of OC to EC (OC/EC) and low ratio of fatty acids to n-alkanes were found for aerosol in the TP. The OC/EC ratio was 11.8 +/- 10.2 on average at the YBJ site and strongly correlated with levoglucosan, a tracer for biomass burning, but not so with typical secondary species, indicating that the high ratio of OC/EC over the TP was more influenced by biomass burning than secondary formation. The ratio of fatty acids to n-alkanes at YBJ was 1.39 +/- 0.29 on average, lower than those reported over urban areas (3.13 +/- 1.49), probably owing to less residential cooking activities. Seasonally, the non-monsoon season had significant increases in primary organic aerosol (POA) tracers, among which biomass burning tracers had a higher increase percentage than other specific tracers. On the contrary, the levels of secondary organic aerosol (SOA) tracers, especially isoprene- and monoterpenederived SOA tracers were enhanced in the monsoon season (summer time), largely resulting from high emissions of biogenic volatile organic compounds. Rep-Mca-Former: An Efficient Multi-Scale Convolution Attention Encoder for Text-Independent Speaker Verification

In many speaker verification tasks, the quality of speaker embedding is an important factor affecting speaker verification systems. Current advanced speaker embedding extraction networks aim to aggregate multi-scale features from discourse through a multi-branch network architecture of speaker representations. Networks based on the transformer encoder improve the performance of speaker verification systems to a higher level by using a multi-head self-attention mechanism to model discourse information globally more efficiently (e.g., MFA-Conformer). However, the large model parameters and computational latency are common problems faced by the above approaches, which make them difficult to apply to resource-constrained edge terminals. To address this issue, this paper proposes an effective lightweight transformer model (MCA-former) with multi-scale convolutional attention (MCA), which can perform multi-scale modeling and channel modeling in the temporal direction of the input with low computational cost. In addition, in the inference phase of the model, we further develop a systematic re-parameterization method to convert the multi-branch network structure into a single-path based topology, which effectively improves the inference speed. We investigate the performance of MCA-former for speaker verification under the VoxCeleb1 test set. The results show that the MCA-based transformer model is more advantageous in terms of number of parameters and inference efficiency, while outperforming the state-of-the-art transformer model on short-duration speaker verification. Positioning accuracy is of great significance for industrial robots in high-end industries. In addition to kinematic parameter errors, there are also some dynamic parameter errors, which are nonlinear. This paper proposes a novel method to improve the positioning accuracy of industrial robot, which takes both kinematics and dynamics parameter errors into account. Firstly, the method uses improved Denavit-Hartenberg (DH) model to establish kinematics model and identifies the geometric errors. Then, the deformation of the joint is analysed, and the angle deviation of each joint due to the end load is compensated. Finally, the accuracy improvement experiment is carried out on 6R robot. The experimental results show that the method is very effective. © 2021

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Manifestations in 13 Cases of Seminal Vesicle Tuberculosis

Objective: This study aimed to examine the radiographic manifestations of seminal vesicle tuberculosis (SVT) on magnetic resonance imaging to gain a deeper understanding of this disease. Methods: The clinical symptoms, general conditions, relevant laboratory tests and radiological data of 13 patients diagnosed with SVT were collected through bacteriological examination. A descriptive analysis was used to explore the composition ratio and rate values of the collected data. Results: All 13 cases (100.0%) showed isointense signals on T1WI and hypointense signals on T2WI in the affected seminal vesicles, with the disappearance of the multi-chambered high signal on T2WI in normal seminal vesicles. Eight cases (61.5%) showed diffusion restriction on DWI of the affected seminal vesicle and significant enhancement on the contrast scan, whereas five cases (38.5%) showed unrestricted diffusion and mild enhancement on the contrast scan. Patients with significant enhancements exhibited higher counts and neutrophil percentages than patients with mild enhancements, with statistically significant differences (Z = 2.196, P = 0.030;Z = 2.781, P = 0.003, respectively). The counts and percentage of lymphocytes, CD3(+)T cells and CD4(+)T cells were significantly lower in patients with significant enhancements than in those with mild enhancements, with statistically significant differences (Z = -2.196, P = 0.030;Z = -2.928, P = 0.002;Z = -2.928, P = 0.002;Z = -2.928, P = 0.002, respectively). Patients with significant enhancements were more likely to have active pulmonary tuberculosis than those with mild enhancements, with a statistically significant difference (P = 0.035). Conclusion: Magnetic resonance imaging reveals distinct radiographic features of SVT, and variations in imaging presentations can indicate a patient's immune status.

BackgroundImmune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are regarded as the most promising treatment for advanced-stage non-small cell lung cancer (aNSCLC). Unfortunately, there has been no unified accuracy biomarkers and systematic model specifically identified for prognostic and severe immune-related adverse events (irAEs). Our goal was to discover new biomarkers and develop a publicly accessible method of identifying patients who may maximize benefit from *** retrospective study enrolled 138 aNSCLC patients receiving ICIs treatment. Progression-free survival (PFS) and severe irAEs were end-points. Data of demographic features, severe irAEs, and peripheral blood inflammatory-nutritional and immune indices before and after 1 or 2 cycles of ICIs were collected. Independent factors were selected by least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) combined with multivariate analysis, and incorporated into nomogram construction. Internal validation was performed by applying area under curve (AUC), calibration plots, and decision *** nomograms with great predictive accuracy and discriminatory power were constructed in this study. Among them, two nomograms based on combined inflammatory-nutritional biomarkers were constructed for PFS (1 year-PFS and 2 year-PFS) and severe irAEs respectively, and one nomogram was constructed for 1 year-PFS based on immune indices. ESCLL nomogram (based on ECOG PS, preSII, changeCAR, changeLYM and postLDH) was constructed to assess PFS (1-, 2-year-AUC = 0.893 [95% CI 0.837-0.950], 0.828 [95% CI 0.721-0.935]). AdNLA nomogram (based on age, change-dNLR, changeLMR and postALI) was constructed to predict the risk of severe irAEs (AUC = 0.762 [95% CI 0.670-0.854]). NKT-B nomogram (based on change-CD3+CD56+CD16+NKT-like cells and change-B cells) was constructed to assess PFS (1-year-AUC = 0.872 [95% CI 0.764-0.965]). A one-pot photocatalytic triazole-based linkerology for PROTACs

Proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs) are a powerful approach for targeted protein degradation. One of the current bottlenecks for developing PROTACs is the lack of an operationally simple linkerology to rapidly construct PROTACs with various linkers. The classic convergent synthesis strategy by coupling pre-assembled linkers with two ligands stepwise commonly needs at least four steps to give the final target PROTACs, which results in low total yields with long reaction times (several days) and tedious operations. Here, we develop an efficient photocatalytic one-pot linkerology for the rapid coupling of analogs of PROTACs containing triazole-based linkers without any linker-pre-assembled procedure. The reaction was completed within 4 h with up to 95% yields at room temperature. Easily accessible cyclic ethers are directly used as linker precursors to furnish the one-pot fashion, including alkenyl, polyethylene glycol (PEG), ketone, and cyclohexane chains. The study provides a highly efficient, step-economic, operationally simple, and environmentally friendly one-pot linkerology for PROTAC drug discovery.

With the acceleration of urbanization, urban waterlogging has become a difficult problem, which restricts the sustainable development and urbanization in China. This paper evaluates, analyzes and summarizes the current waterlogging research in China from three aspects: waterlogging control standards, waterlogging control models and methods, and current research difficulties. We take the Jiangbei District, Fuzhou City as an example. A waterlogging model was established to obtain the stage hydrographs and design flood flow, comprehensively evaluating the waterlogging situation and the comprehensive waterlogging prevention capacity. The results show that, accurate waterlogging simulation plays an important role in the construction of urban waterlogging prevention. While addressing the existing controllable difficulties, the research on urban waterlogging in China should actively work on coping strategies for uncontrollable difficulties, and enhance the ability of the regional waterlogging management system to deal with various extreme weather conditions and human activities. © 2021 IEEE.
