This paper designs a Signal Source Board based on PXIe standard. The Signal Source Board adopts XCKU060-2FFVA1157I of Xilinx company as the main control chip of the FPGA, AD9144 of ADI company as the DAC, the Host Computer sends the analog signal waveform code table to be generated to the Signal Source Board through the PCIe Bus, and then the FPGA of the Source Board based sends the analog signal waveform code table to two pieces of AD9144 through the JESD204B interface. Finally, the generated analog signal is filtered through the low-pass filter HMC1023, and completes the output of 8-channel analog signal. It achieves the high-quality generation of any modulated signal from baseband to mid-frequency, and meets the synchronous output requirements of 8-channel analog signal. © 2022 ACM.

With the increasing complexity of circuit board function, both the performance index of circuit board and the number of circuit test points are increasing day by day. It is far from satisfying the test demand of large-scale board production manually. In order to realize automatic test of electrical signal on board, automatic configuration of test sequence and automatic generation of test report, this paper designed an automatic test software management platform based on Labview and TestStand, and proposed a solution of automatic generation of test report according to template. And this paper provides a method of parameter configuration and management of instrument and result threshold of automatic test sequence, which further improves the test efficiency of automatic test and realizes unified management of test parameters, compared with gradually configuring instrument parameters in each test step of test sequence. © 2022 ACM.

Cryptococcus is a pathogenic fungus that poses a threat to human health. Conventional detection methods have limited the rapid and accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis of Cryptococcus, affecting early diagnosis and treatment. In this study, we developed a Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) platform that integrates lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) with smartphones, enabling both rapid qualitative and quantitative detection of Cryptococcus. The LFIA strip utilizes latex microspheres (LMs) as labeling probes, achieving a detection limit of 3000 CFU/mL and presenting higher sensitivity than the Colloidal Gold Nanoparticles Lateral Flow Immunoassay (AuNPs-LFIA) strip, and approximately eight times that of the AuNPs-LFIA strip. Additionally, it exhibiting no cross-reactivity with over 24 common pathogens and validated in clinical samples. For quantitative analysis, artificial intelligence algorithms were employed to convert smartphone-captured images into grayscale values. Eleven feature values were utilized as a dataset for machine learning to construct a linear regression model, with Mean Squared Error (MSE) and R2 reaching 0.45 and 0.91, respectively. Moreover, the recovery rates in the serum samples ranged from 90.0 % to 108 %, indicating a good practicability. This research presents a rapid diagnostic technology for Cryptococcus and lays the theoretical and technical groundwork for detecting other pathogens.

Vinyl-substituted N-heterocycles, as more challenginginert olefinswith more stable reactivity, have brought about widespread attentionin the reaction of aza-Michael addition or reduction coupling ***, we report a [Pd-(eta(3)-C3H5)-Cl](2)/Sc-(OTf)(3)-catalyzed catalytic processaccelerated by Bronsted acids with a beta-selective aza-Michaeladdition to yield a gamma-quaternary carbon from vinyl-substitutedquinolines, diazos, and anilines/alcohols in one pot. The generationof anhydride analogues from Bronsted acid and the counter anion(OTf-) of Lewis acid promotes the activation ofthe corresponding Lewis acid and the nearly quantitative *** pi-cation and coordination interactions play pivotal rolesin the activation of the vinyl-quinoline substrates by the activatedLewis acid Sc-(OTf)(3). The control mechanistic evidence andDFT calculations presented a Pd/Sc/Bronsted acid co-catalyzedaddition mechanism. The triple co-catalytic system provides a strategyfor the activation of vinyl-quinolines with a linear selectivity containing gamma-quaternary carbon, and the developed method shows a broadsubstrate scope varying from alkyl/aryl alcohols and amines whichprovides a general and rapid strategy for the quinoline-based diverselibrary construction.

The field of clinical research has reached a turning point in terms of the range and diversity of available data and their potential to improve human health and well-being. However, due to discipline-specific variances in terminology and representation, the data is often compartmentalized, disorganized, and inaccessible to a broad audience. In response to these challenges, we designed and evaluated a pilot knowledge graph-based MedKaaS tool capable of integrating existing clinical datasets and translating those data into insights intended to augment human reasoning and accelerate scientific research. In this paper, we present the architecture and performance of our system, which has been applied to several real-world use cases in collaboration with subject-matter specialists. The MedKaaS Tools are actively developed, with regular updates to performance and features. Our future plans include developing a more user-friendly interface and expanding the visualization capabilities for knowledge exploration. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V. Finite element analysis of corn kernel damage: a viscoelastic model approach for impact-induced damage prediction

BACKGROUNDIn the present study, we address the quality degradation of corn during post-harvest processing by developing a viscoelastic composite model to predict kernel damage during post-harvest processing. The model, based on high-resolution scanning and inverse modeling techniques, provides an accurate representation of the complex internal components of corn kernels, which allows for the analysis of their stress response and damage susceptibility trends under different impact *** results show that the viscoelastic model has a relative error of 2.4% compared to the drop test data, thus demonstrating that the viscoelastic model has a very high accuracy in predicting impact damage and is able to accurately localize the flour-like endosperm as the main region of impact damage. The model showed a high correlation (0.99) between predicted and experimental damage rates by response surface *** damage during processing is reduced by reducing the proportion of flour-like endosperm in maize kernels. A new method for reducing damage during food handling and processing operations is proposed, providing an important reference for improving kernel durability and contributing to the development of gentler processing techniques to improve the quality of maize products. BackgroundPrevious studies have shown changes in gut microbiota after human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, but there is limited research linking the gut microbiota of people living with HIV (PLWHIV) to metabolic *** total of 103 PLWHIV were followed for 48 weeks of anti-retroviral therapy (ART), with demographic and clinical data collected. Gut microbiome analysis was conducted using metagenomic sequencing of fecal samples from 12 individuals. Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) was diagnosed based on controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) values of 238 dB/m from liver fibro-scans. Participants were divided based on the presence of metabolic disorders, including NAFLD, overweight, and hyperlipidemia. Akkermansia abundance in stool samples was measured using RT-qPCR, and Pearson correlation and logistic regression were applied for *** sequencing revealed a significant decline in gut Akkermansia abundance in PLWHIV with NAFLD. STAMP analysis of public datasets confirmed this decline after HIV infection, while KEGG pathway analysis identified enrichment of metabolism-related genes. A prospective cohort study with 103 PLWHIV followed for 48 weeks validated these findings. Akkermansia abundance was significantly lower in participants with NAFLD, overweight, and hyperlipidemia at baseline, and it emerged as an independent predictor of NAFLD and overweight. Negative correlations were observed between Akkermansia abundance and both CAP values and body mass index (BMI) at baseline and at week 48. At the 48-week follow-up, Akkermansia remained a predictive marker for *** abundance was reduced in PLWHIV with metabolic disorders and served as a predictive biomarker for NAFLD progression over 48 weeks of ART.

Epigenetic dysregulation is prevalent in human cancers, affecting gene expression and metabolic patterns to meet the demands of malignant evolution and abnormal epigenetic processes, and resulting in a protumor immune microenvironment. Tumors require a steady supply of methionine for maintaining epigenetic flexibility, which is the only exogenous precursor of methyl donor S-adenosylmethionine for methylation, crucial for their resistance to therapies and survival in a nutrient-deficient microenvironment. Thus, tumor cells upregulate the Lat4 transporter to compete and deprive methionine in the microenvironment, sustaining their malignant phenotypes and also impairing immune cell functions. Addressing this methionine addiction is the key to overcoming drug resistance and improving immune response. Despite the challenge of lacking specific Lat4 inhibitors, an oxaliplatin prodrug crosslinked fluorinated polycation/anti-Lat4 small interfering RNA complex nanoregulator (AS-F-NP) has been designed and developed here. This nanoregulator restricted the greedy methionine uptake of tumor cells by knocking down Lat4, which in turn inhibited the malignant evolution of the tumor while restoring the viability and function of tumor-infiltrating immune cells.

Objective: Evidence-based medicine (EBM) provides a framework to support clinicians' decision-making processes using the best evidence currently available in the field. The key elements of clinical research can be defined by a framework called PICO, which identifies the sentences in a medical literature text that belong to the four key elements reported in clinical trials: Participants/Problem (P), Intervention (I), Comparison (C) and Outcome (O). This study aims to establish an effective detection method for key elements of evidence-based medical research. Methods: Based on the text features of key elements framework, we propose a deep learning model BERTGCN which combined large-scale pretraining model and graph convolution network (GCN) for detecting key elements of evidence-based medicine. In this model, the sentences which are initialized with pre-trained BERT representations and the words in the EBM evidence were recognized as the sentence nodes and word of the graph which were used to train GCN model. At the same time, the sentences were used to fine tune the pretraining model. Results: We tested our proposed approach over PubMed-PICO dataset is a data set containing tens of thousands of EBM key elements extracted from PubMed. The F1-score of P/I/O in the model we proposed reached 91.3%, 85.8% and 90.0% respectively. Experimental results show that our model outperforms the current optimal model. Conclusions: BERTGCN is able to leverage the advantages of both worlds: large-scale pretraining and transudative learning to improve the efficiency of detecting evidence-based medical evidence from research publications. © 2023 The Authors. Pulverization, settling and agglomeration, and the consequent densification may occur for metal hydride particles during the charge-discharge cycles, which will affect the wall strain of their container for hydrogen storage. In order to study the effects of different factors on the wall strain of metal hydride hydrogen storage vessel, a reaction-thermal-mechanical coupling model for LaNi5 alloy was modified with regard to some relevant parameters, by which sensitivity analysis was conducted.
