On May 21,2023,the Macao Science Satellite-1B(MSS-1B),a low-inclination,low-latitude,and high-precision scientific exploration satellite for geomagnetic fields and space environments,was successfully *** solar X-ray detector(SXd),one of the two major scientific payloads onboard the MSS-1B,has obtained a large amount of solar X-ray radiation data,which reveals the distribution law of the magnetic field in the low Earth orbit,as well as the coupling law of the Earth's magnetic field and the solar radiation and energy particle ***,the overall design of the multi-detection-unit,broad-energy-range,small-volume,and low-power SXd was implemented to achieve the scientific objectives of the ***,the technical indicators of the instrument were decomposed into various components,and the key technologies,such as collimator,processing circuit,thermal,and payload dataset designs,were ***,the backgrounds,including electronic noise,cosmic diffuse X-ray background,and high-energy background in the Earth's radiation belts in and out of the field of view,were analyzed for the ***,the ground calibrations of the energy response,detection efficiency,and temperature-dependent peak drift of the SXd flight model were ***,the in-orbit temperature,energy spectrum data,background,and solar flare process observation of the instrument in the in-orbit test stage are presented,verifying the instrument design,analysis,and ground calibration,providing a foundation for obtaining accurate solar X-ray radiation data,and achieving the scientific objectives of the satellite.

regulation of defects in Carbon Nitride to Promote Photocatalytic Overall Water Splitting

Crystal defects widely exist in semiconductor photocatalysts, and it hinders the quantum efficiency in photocatalytic reactions. The precise manipulation and elimination of these detrimental defects are particularly crucial for improving the photocatalytic overall water splitting (OWS) reaction, though this remains a considerable challenge. In a recent study, Wang and colleagues introduced an innovative "in-situ salt flux" copolymerization technique to synthesize poly(triazine imide) (PTI) with high crystallinity and minimal defects. This approach resulted in a record apparent quantum efficiency (AQE) of 37.8% at 380 nm. This strategy effectively balances the impact of two types of vacancies (carbon and nitrogen) on OWS performance and establishes clear structure-property-activity relationships for the photocatalytic OWS process.

The rapidly evolving field of Large Language Models (LLMs) holds immense promise for healthcare, particularly in medication guidance and adverse drug reaction prediction. despite their potential, existing LLMs face challenges in dealing with complex polypharmacy scenarios and often grapple with data lag issues. To address these limitations, we introduce an LLM-based Chinese medication guidance system, called ShennongMGS, specifically tailored for robust medication guidance and adverse drug reaction predictions. Our system transforms multi-source heterogeneous medication information into a knowledge graph and employs a two-stage training strategy to construct a specialized LLM (ShennongGPT). This method enables the simulation of professional pharmacists' decision-making processes and incorporates the capability for knowledge self-updating, thereby significantly enhancing drug safety and the overall quality of medical services. rigorously evaluated by medical professionals and artificial intelligence experts, our method demonstrates superiority, outperforming existing general and specialized LLMs in performance.

Anomaly detection for blueberry data using sparse autoencoder-support vector machine

High-dimensional space includes many subspaces so that anomalies can be hidden in any of them, which leads to obvious difficulties in abnormality detection. Currently, most existing anomaly detection methods tend to measure distances between data points. Unfortunately, the distance between data points becomes more similar as the dimensionality of the input data increases, resulting in difficulties in differentiation between data points. As such, the high dimensionality of input data brings an obvious challenge for anomaly detection. To address this issue, this article proposes a hybrid method of combining a sparse autoencoder with a support vector machine. The principle is that by first using the proposed sparse autoencoder, the low-dimensional features of the input dataset can be captured, so as to reduce its dimensionality. Then, the support vector machine separates abnormal features from normal features in the captured low-dimensional feature space. To improve the precision of separation, a novel kernel is derived based on the Mercer theorem. Meanwhile, to prevent normal points from being mistakenly classified, the upper limit of the number of abnormal points is estimated by the Chebyshev theorem. Experiments on both the synthetic datasets and the UCI datasets show that the proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art detection methods in the ability of anomaly detection. We find that the newly designed kernel can explore different sub-regions, which is able to better separate anomaly instances from the normal ones. Moreover, our results suggested that anomaly detection models suffer less negative effects from the complexity of data distribution in the space reconstructed by those layered features than in the original space.

This paper presents a 16-bit,18-MSPS(million samples per second)flash-assisted successive-approximation-register(SAr)analog-to-digital converter(AdC)utilizing hybrid synchronous and asynchronous(HYSAS)timing control logic based on an on-chip delay-locked loop(dLL).The HYSAS scheme can provide a longer settling time for the capacitive digital-to-analog converter(CdAC)than the synchronous and asynchronous SAr ***,the issue of incomplete settling or ringing in the dAC voltage for cases of either on-chip or off-chip reference voltage can be solved to a large *** addition,the fore-ground calibration of the CdAC’s mismatch is performed with a finite-impulse-response bandpass filter(FIr-BPF)based least-mean-square(LMS)algorithm in an off-chip FPGA(field programmable gate array).Fabricated in 40-nm CMOS process,the proto-type AdC achieves 94.02-dB spurious-free dynamic range(SFdr),and 75.98-dB signal-to-noise-and-distortion ratio(SNdr)for a 2.88-MHz input under 18-MSPS sampling rate.

Cross-domain open-set fault diagnosis using prototype learning and extreme value theory

The open-set cross-domain fault diagnosis scenario is similar to the practical industrial application. It assumes that a distribution discrepancy between the training (source) and testing (target) datasets exists, and the testing label set contains the training label set. The developed model transfers knowledge from the source domain to the share-class faults of the target domain and simultaneously rejects unknown fault samples. Previous studies have two shortcomings. First, feature alignment strategies only consider the alignment of the source and target-known distributions but ignore the segregation of the source and target-unknown distributions, resulting in unreasonable boundaries between known and unknown classes. Secondly, the similarity calculation for feature alignment relies on overconfident network predictions, resulting in biased similarities. To address these problems, this study employs two domain discriminators to clarify the boundaries between the known and unknown classes;one for aligning the source and target-known, and the other for segregating the source and target-unknown. In addition, an unbiased similarity calculation strategy using prototype learning and extreme value theory was proposed to quantify the contribution of each target sample to the domain adversarial training loss. Extensive experiments were conducted on a public bearing dataset and a laboratory gas-insulated switchgear vibration signals. The results outperformed those of other reported approaches, indicating that the proposed method is a promising model for practical industrial applications.

Mixing uniformity effect on hydraulic conductivity of cement-based stabilized soft clay

Mixing uniformity plays an important role in the quality control of the deep diaphragm wall in anti-seepage projects. However, there is a lack of quantitative evaluation of mixing uniformity and its effect on the hydraulic conductivity in geotechnical engineering. This study proposed a method to quantificationally characterize the mixing uniformity of the cement-based stabilized soft clay (CBSC) through the X-ray computed tomography. Note that, the phase with the grayscale value (i.e., the mode of the grayscale value of the sample closest to the uniform state) was tracked to obtain its layer-by-layer volume fraction, followed by quantitative analysis with the proposed equation. Additionally, the relationship between the CBSC's mixing uniformity and the hydraulic conductivity was discussed. The results indicate that the characterization parameters of the hypertonic zone are related to the mixing uniformity, including the volume fraction, equivalent radius, channel length and coordination number of the connected hypertonic zone. With a low uniformity, plenty of hypertonic zones with high porosity provide continuous channels for percolation. Hence, a small volumetric and isolated hypertonic zones prevent the connectivity of the seepage channels resulting in the overall low permeability. The hydraulic conductivity decreases sharply, when mixing uniformity more than 81.1% in this study. These findings provide a guidance for the control of the mixing uniformity for the anti-seepage project construction.
