In this study, the precipitation transformation and age hardening of solution-treated Mg-9Gd-4Y-2Zn-0.5Zr(wt.%) alloy were investigated at different aging treatment parameters. The precipitation sequences of the alloy aged at 200℃, 250℃ and 300℃ are β’’(dO19) → β’(BCO) → β(FCC), β’’(dO19) → β’(BCO) → β_(1)(FCC) → β(FCC) and β(FCC), respectively. The streaks sequences of the alloy aged at 200℃, 250℃ and 300℃ are SF, SF → 14H-LPSO and SF → 14H-LPSO, respectively. For the alloy aged at 200℃ and 250℃, the increase in hardness with increasing aging time is contributed from the increase in precipitate volume fraction and the transformation from β’’ to β’ phase with basal → prismatic and spherical → spindle-like precipitate changes. The decrease in hardness after the peak-aging stage is attributed to the appearance of micro-sized β precipitates. Because of the smaller size of precipitates and the triangular arrangement of β’ precipitate, the hardness of the alloy aged at 200℃ is higher than that aged at 250℃. For the alloy aged at 300℃, the appearance of only micro-sized β precipitate and its coarsening with increasing aging time leads to the lowest hardness and an overall decrease in hardness with the aging time.

Traditional anticancer treatments fail to significantly improve prognoses,and exploration of novel promising therapeutic modalities is urgently *** this study,multifunctional mesoporous polydopamine nanoparticles(Pt@MPdA/GOx/Fe3+NPs)loaded with glucose oxidase(GOx),Fe ions and ultrasmall Pt nanoparticles(NPs)were prepared for magnetic resonance imaging(MrI)-guided photothermal therapy(PTT)-enhanced chemodynamic therapy(CdT).The oxidation of intratumoral glucose to H2O2 and GOx induced an H2O2-rich microenvironment,and then elevated H2O2 was catalyzed into highly cytotoxic·OH by Fe3+via a Fenton reaction for CdT to induce cancer cell death ***,the heat generated by MPdA NPs under laser irradiation offered a moderate PTT to cascade the CdT ***,Pt NPs can oxidize H2O2 to yield O2,which in turn accelerates the catalytic process of GOx to increase the efficiency of ***,in the high oxidation environment of tumor cells,Pt NPs are oxidized into Pt2+to achieve a tumor chemotherapy *** addition,chelated Fe3+endows the system with an MrI-visible function to monitor the treatment *** conclusion,this study provides a novel MrI-guided PTT-enhanced CdT synergistic nanomedicine platform for cancer therapy.

Chemical modification of electrode materials by heteroatom dopants is crucial for improving storage performance in rechargeable batteries. Electron configurations of different dopants significantly influence the chemical interactions inbetween and the chemical bonding with the host material, yet the underlying mechanism remains unclear. We revealed competitive doping chemistry of Group IIIA elements (boron and aluminum) taking nickel-rich cathode materials as a model. A notable difference between the atomic radii of B and Al accounts fordifferent spatial configurations of the hybridized orbital in bonding with lattice oxygen. density functional theory calculations reveal, Al is preferentially bonded to oxygen and vice versa, and shows a much lowerdiffusion barrier than B-III. In the case of Al-preoccupation, the bulk diffusion of B-III is hindered. In this way, a B-rich surface and Al-rich bulk is formed, which helps to synergistically stabilize the structural evolution and surface chemistry of the cathode.
