The Sangong Cu-Ni sulfide mineralized mafic-ultramafic intrusion is located on the southern margin of the Bogeda-Harlik belt,eastern Tianshan,*** intrusion is a well-differentiated complex and is comprised of leucogabbro,gabbro,olivine gabbro,Pl-bearing peridotite,and Pl-bearing *** Pl-bearing pyroxenite hosts both irregularly disseminated sulfide and round droplet *** intrusive rocks have a wide range of SiO_(2)(42.1 wt.%-50.48 wt.%)and MgO(6.21 wt.%-22.11 wt.%),and are enriched in light rare earth elements(LrEE),large-ion lithophile elements(LILE;e.g.,rb,Ba,Sr,and Pb),and palladium platinum group elements(PPGE)but depleted in high-field-strength elements(HFSE;e.g.,Nb,Ta,and Ti)and iridium PGEs(IPGE).These geochemical characteristics indicate that the Sangong mafic-ultramafic intrusion was derived from high degree of partial melting of depleted mantle and interacted with subduction-related *** low Pd/Ir(3.21-27.44)but high Ni/Cu(1.64-24.16)ratios,combined with the olivine crystals with low Fo(60.88-78.65)and Ni(54.99 ppm-1688.87 ppm)concentrations suggest that the parental magma of the Sangong intrusion were likely high MgO basaltic in composition that experienced extensive evolution prior *** Ce/Pb ratios(5.8-13.6)and Nb/U ratios(11.6-30.3)of the intrusive rocks all range between MOrB and crustal values,the Nb/Yb and Th/Yb values are close to the lower crust values,together with the low Se/S ratios[(17-100)×10^(-6))]suggest that the magma experienced assimilation not only in mantle source but also in conduit,but the degree of crustal contamination is *** Cu/Pd ratios of the rocks range from 3.9×10^(4) to 10.8×10^(4),and the Cu/Zr ratios of Pl-bearing pyroxenite in the Sangong intrusion are>1,combined with the presence of sulfide droplets in the Pl-bearing pyroxenite,indicating the parental magma experienced sulfide saturation and the economical ore bodies may present in the depth of the ***,gi

Comparative Analysis of the Benefits of Glutathione-rich Yeast Hydrolysate and Astaxanthin on Growth Performance, Antioxidant Capacity and Lipid Metabolism in Pacific White Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei)

Antioxidants, both glutathione (GSH) and astaxanthin (AX), possess beneficial applications in animal growth and antioxidant properties. In this study, three experimental diets with isoproteic and isolipidic were formulated, the control diet (CON), the control diet added with 0.03% Carophyll Pink (contains 10% AX), the control diet added with 0.67% glutathione-rich yeast hydrolysate (GYH, contains 5% GSH). The effects of AX and GYH on the growth performance, antioxidant capacity and lipid metabolism of Litopenaeus vannamei (0.36 +/- 0.01 g) were compared. After an 8-week feeding experiment, shrimp growth and intestinal morphology showed significantly better performance in the GYH group. Both dietary AX and GYH regulated the expression levels of genes related to lipid metabolism, increased antioxidant enzyme activities and total antioxidant capacity of shrimp and reduced haemolymph malondialdehyde and hepatopancreas reactive oxygen species production. Compared with the CON and GYH groups, dietary AX significantly increased the redness (a*) and yellowness (b*) values of cooked shrimp. Based on the evaluation of the above results, AX and GYH were comparable in terms of antioxidant performance, and AX was superior in improving the red body colour of shrimp, but GYH has more significant advantages in promoting shrimp growth and intestinal development. Therefore, supplementation with GYH or AX in diet presents specific benefits to the growth, body colour and antioxidant of L. vannamei.

In agroecosystems, insects contend with chemical insecticides often encountered at sublethal concentrations. Insects' exposure to these mild stresses may induce hormetic effects, which has consequences for managing insect pests. In this study, we used an electrical penetration graph (EPG) technique to investigate the feeding behavior and an age-stage, two-sex life table approach to estimate the sublethal effects of thiamethoxam on greenbug, Schizaphis graminum. The LC5 and LC10 of thiamethoxam significantly decreased longevity and fecundity of directly exposed adult aphids (F-0). However, the adult longevity, fecundity, and reproductive days (rPd)-indicating the number of days in which the females produce offspring - in the progeny generation (F-1) exhibited significant increase when parental aphids (F-0) were treated with LC5 of the active ingredient. Subsequently, key demographic parameters such as intrinsic rate of increase (r) and net reproductive rate (r-0) significantly increased at LC5 treatment. EPG recordings showed that total durations of non-probing (Np), intercellular stylet pathway (C), and salivary secretion into the sieve element (E1) were significantly increased, while mean duration of probing (Pr) and total duration of phloem sap ingestion and concurrent salivation (E2) were decreased in F-0 adults exposed to LC5 and LC10. Interestingly, in the F1 generation, total duration of Np was significantly decreased while total duration of E2 was increased in LC5 treatment. Taken together, our results showed that an LC(5 )of thiamethoxam induces intergenerational hormetic effects on the demographic parameters and feeding behavior of F-1 individuals of S. graminum. These findings have important implications on chemical control against S. graminum and highlight the need for a deeper understanding of the ecological consequences of such exposures within pest management strategies across the agricultural landscapes.

Life Cycle Assessment of Primary Aluminum Production

Life cycle assessment (LCA) is used to quantitatively analyze the energy consumption and environmental impact of primary aluminum production in china, the United States, and Europe, as well as global average. The results indicate that electricity and fuel contribute more than 60% of the environmental impact of bauxite mining;steam is the greatest contributor to the environmental impact of alumina production by the Bayer process, with a result exceeding 35%;and electricity contributes >50% of the environmental impact of aluminum electrolysis. The environmental impact of primary aluminum production in china is 1.2 times the global average. The contributions of the three stages of primary aluminum production to the total environmental impact of the process in china are, in descending order, aluminum electrolysis (64.33%), alumina production (33.09%), and bauxite mining (2.58%). If the proportion of thermal power in the electricity source structure is reduced from 60% to 0%, the contribution of electricity to the environmental impact of primary aluminum production will decrease from 38% to 2%, and the total environmental impact will decrease by 73%. Therefore, energy conservation and emissions reduction can be realized through the optimization of the power generation structure, adoption of clean energy production, and improvement of the heat utilization rate in production processes.

Pectin lyase(PMGL)is an industrially important enzyme with widespread applications in the food,paper,and textile industries,owing to its capacity for direct degradation of highly esterified *** this study,PMGL-Ba derived from Bacillus licheniformis underwent mining and heterologous expression in ***,diverse strategies,encompassing the optimization of expression cassette components,elevation of gene dosage,and co-expression of chaperone factors,were employed to augment PMGL-Ba production in *** signaling peptide OST1-pre-α-MF-pro and promoter AOX1 were finally selected as expression *** overexpressing the transcription factor Hac1p in conjunction with a two-copy PMGL-Ba setup,a strain yielding high PMGL-Ba production was *** shake flask fermentation lasting 144 h,the total protein concentration reached 1.81 g/L,and the enzyme activity reached 1821.36 U/*** further scale up production,high-density fermentation transpired in a 5 L fermenter for 72 ***,the total protein concentration increased to 12.49 g/L,and the enzyme activity reached an impressive 12668.12 U/*** successful heterologous and efficient expression of PMGL-Ba not only furnishes a valuable biological enzyme for industrial applications but also contributes to cost reduction in the utilization of biological enzymes in industrial applications.

Previous studies have confirmed that acupuncture for irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)provided an additional benefit over usual care ***,we performed a multicenter,randomized,sham-controlled trial to assess the efficacy and safety of acupuncture versus sham acupuncture for refractory IBS in patients in the context of conventional *** in the acupuncture and sham acupuncture groups received real or sham acupuncture treatment in 3 sessions per week for a total of 12 *** primary outcome was a change in the IBS–Symptom Severity Scale(IBS-SSS)score from baseline to week 4.A total of 521 participants were screened,and 170 patients(85 patients per group)were enrolled and included in the intention-to-treat *** characteristics were comparable across the two *** baseline to 4 weeks,the IBS-SSS total score decreased by 140.0(95%CI:126.0 to 153.9)in the acupuncture group and 64.4(95%CI:50.4 to 78.3)in the sham acupuncture *** between-group difference was 75.6(95%CI:55.8 to 95.4).Acupuncture efficacy was maintained during the 4-week follow-up *** were no serious adverse *** conclusion,acupuncture provided benefits when combined with treatment as usual,providing more options for the treatment of refractory IBS.

Thermal properties evaluation for angular contact ball bearing subjected to thermal-mechanical coupling structure deformations

This paper presents a thermal properties analysis model of angular contact ball bearings considering thermal-mechanical coupling structure deformations. The correlation between the assembly state and structure flexible deformations for the shaft-bearing-pedestal system is derived, and an improved transient thermal network model considering cage guiding type and grease heat transfer process is constructed. The influencing mechanism of bearing thermal properties is revealed, and the variations of structure deformations and service performance compared to those cases without considering thermal effect are explored. results indicated that the deformations of the shaft and bearing ring are more sensitive to the thermal effect, which is significantly greater than those cases without considering the thermal effect. The thermal expansion induced by temperature rise intensifies the bearing structure deformations, and decreases bearing clearance and the design contact angle. The bearing deformations are positively correlated with the rotation speed and external loads, and the bearing thermal characteristics can be optimized by properly adjusting the assembly state of the rotor-bearing system.
