Plane computer graphics are basic information carriers in many industrial scenarios, such as engineering simulation, automatic control, and software design. Plane computer graphics are generally a kind of digital signals guided by mathematical symbols, and each vertex of a plane computer graph forms a graph matrix. Therefore, linear matrix transformation serves as the most common algorithmic unit to realize various information processing operations. To improve ease of graph matrix computing in practical engineering scenarios, this paper proposes a theoretical scientiYc programming framework for application of linear matrix transformation in plane computer graphics. Firstly, theoretical basis of linear matrix transformation in homogeneous plane coordinates is displayed and analyzed. Then, the universal theorem about linear transformation of graph matrices is deduced, and corresponding proofs are also given. Finally, a case study is set up to demonstrate the main work,ow of the proposed theoretical scientific programming framework. The simulative results reveal feasibility of the proposal.

Humans tendency to engage in behaviors that are harmful to themselves, the environment, and the society has always been present on a personal and collective level. However, the concern for this kind of phenomena is increasing, as demographic and economic growth is amplifying its impact on people health, economies, and ecosystems. As a consequence, we have seen the rise of research fields as design for behavior change, with a growing interest in the use of tools as persuasive technologies, serious games and interactive systems to affect people awareness, attitude, and behavior. To these purposes, computer graphics and especially virtual reality (VR) has great potential since it can provide experiences to deepen users' understanding and emotional involvement regarding a variety of social and environmental issues. Here, we discuss the use of VR as a powerful, versatile, and cost-effective tool to deliver virtual experiences that inform and motivate users to change behavior. We describe and relate different aspects regarding sustainable behavior and VR experience design with respect to their potential to support behavior change.

Automatic event detection from images or wearable sensors is a fundamental step towards the development of advanced sport analytics and broadcasting software. However, the collection and annotation of large scale sport datasets is hindered by technical obstacles, cost of data acquisition and annotation, and commercial interests. In this paper, we present the Soccer Event Recognition (SoccER) data generator, which builds upon an existing, high quality open source game engine to enable synthetic data generation. The software generates detailed spatio-temporal data from simulated soccer games, along with fine-grained, automatically generated event ground truth. The SoccER software suite includes also a complete event detection system entirely developed and tested on a synthetic dataset including 500 min of game, and more than 1 million events. We close the paper by discussing avenues for future research in sports event recognition enabled by the use of synthetic data. (C) 2020 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
