The IEC 61970-407 Time Series Data Access (TSDA) specification specifies a generalizedinterface for efficient exchange of data. The specification takes into account the latenciescaused by a Local Area Network (LAN) providing efficient data exchange also over Local *** 61970-407 is derived from the Object Management Group (OMG) Historical Data Accessfrom Industrial Systems (HDAIS) specification. OMG HDAIS relies on the OMG Data AccessFacility (DAF) and OPC Historical Data Access (HDA) specifications. OMG HDAIS is aPlatform Specific Model (PSM) with CORBA as the platform and OPC HDA is a PSM withMicrosoft COM as the platform. The IEC 61970-407 specification describes the functionality ofthese PSMs in a technology independent way (i.e., as a Platform Independent Model (PIM)).Hence, it explains the functionality to a level that can be used to create additional PSMs or bean introduction to existing PSMs, i.e. HDAIS and OPC HDA. Implementers wanting anintroduction to OMG HDAIS and OPC HDA should read these *** TSDA interface is intended to interoperate with other IEC 61970 based interfaces. Hence,it is possible to use information retrieved from other interface to access the same informationusing this interface, for example:? object identifiers,? attribute names or identifiers,? class names or *** 4.6 provides a generic mapping for the CIM classes and *** way data is organized in a server implementing the TSDA interface can be seen by usingthe browse interfaces for data and meta data. It is also possible to use the data accessinterface directly without using the browse interfaces if the client has an a priori knowledge ofobject, class and attribute identifiers. Object identifiers may be retrieved using data from otherinterfaces, for example a CIMXML file or the IEC 61970-404 interface. Information on whatclasses and attributes are available will be described in IEC 61970-45X documents, forexample historical SCADA data, hi

This section defines the scope of the EDA Industry Standards Roadmap for the SIA Electronic Design and Test Areas. It includes strategic direction for key electronic design and test standards, with specific focus on the design system infrastructure, tools and design data, and key packaging technologies, across all key design phases. The scope is focused on EDA, and is specifically focused on: · EDA systems and software standardization (NOT standardization of electronics hardware) · EDA and key interfaces to the EDA domain (NOT standardization of other CAD domains) · EDA Roadmap for standards development (NOT actual development of the standards) · EDA standards roadmap (NOT a design process or algorithm development roadmap) 1 Electronic Design and Test Standards Focus Electronic design and test standards focus includes: infrastructure and tools, design and data management, design data representation, and technology libraries and models. 1.1 The Design System This section summarizes the standards for the infrastructure surrounding and supporting Electronic Design and Test systems and tools. It also covers all design and data management standards relating to the definition, execution, and management of the electronic design process. · Infrastructure and Tools This includes all standards dealing with the infrastructure surrounding and supporting Electronic Design and Test systems and tools. The subject addresses platform operating systems, communications environment, user interfaces, tool encapsulation, inter-tool communication, and general EDA development environment. These standards promote innovation of new processes and methods for electronic design and test, that can be easily inserted into the design environment (i.e., plug and play). Such standards operate at various levels to bind tools together into design flows, and enable cost-effective multi-vendor flows without requiring tight integration of tools. · Design and Data Management This area includes all design

This part of ISO 13399 defines the principles and methods for creating unambiguous definitions of the items and their properties that relate to cutting tools in computer-sensible dictionaries that are to be used for reference by the information model defined in ISO 13399-1. The following are within the scope of this Technical Specification: — the specification of data element types, their identifying, semantic and value attributes; — the specification of item classes, their identifying and semantic attributes. The following are not within the scope of this Technical Specification: — information model for cutting tools; — classifications and definitions of items and data element types relating to cutting tools; — association between properties and items in a classification. NOTE 1 The information model for cutting tools is defined in ISO 13399-1. NOTE 2 The classification of items relating to cutting tools, the definitions of items and data element types and the association of properties to items are defined in ISO 13399-2 to 5.

This International Standard provides the base functionality considered necessary and commonthat is provided by neither the normative standards incorporated by reference nor the new APIsspecified in the IEC 61970-403 to IEC 61970-449 1) generic interface standards. An applicationis expected to use the Common Services in conjunction with the generic interfaces. Theseapplication category independent interfaces include:? IEC 61970-403: Generic Data Access (GDA)? IEC 61970-404: High Speed Data Access (HSDA)? IEC 61970-405: Generic Eventing and Subscription (GES)? IEC 61970-407: Time Series Data Access (TSDA)To support these objectives, the Common Services are divided into three categories:a) Resource Identifiers – A common way of identifying classes, class attributes, and objectinstances.b) Resource Description – A common way of encoding values associated with classes, classattributes, and object instances.c) Views – A common way of presenting classes, class attributes, and object instances *** 61970-402 contains API services that are considered to be foundational. As such, all theother parts in the IEC 61970-4xx series assume their existence. As a result, the servicesdescribed in IEC 61970-402 are required for any component that complies with theIEC 61970-4xx series of *** the target of this IEC standard includes the control center technical domain, commonservices encompass a general set of concepts that can be applied to many types of *** of these systems include:? Distribution management systems? Work or asset management systems? Geographic information systems? Outage management systems? Other types of operational business *** recognition that the integration between applications in two or more of these systems is oftennecessary, the intent of this specification is to address general common service requirementsto the extent that they are common to different types of systems while effectively addressingthe control center
