Hyperventilation syndrome, first described in 1937 (1), consists of a heterogeneous group of signs and symptoms, including paresthesia, muscle rigidity, dizziness, hyperreflexia, tetanus, presyncope, syncope, and seizures. It may be associated with chest pain. We report the case of a patient with recurrent chest pain and syncope due to hyperventilation.
