It is sponsored by the Institute of High Energy Physics and assisted by the Institute of Modern Physics,the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is a monthly journal,96 pages each issue,distributed both at home and abroad. This journal publishes research papers on theories,experiments and applications in particle physics,nuclear physics,cosmic ray physics,accelerators,synchrotron radiation and other related fields in Chinese with English abstracts. It really reflects the current level of our country in these fields,is of benefit to development of science and talented young people,and promotes the academic exchange with foreign countries. It contains a special column called “Letters”(in English) carrying short reports on the latest important scientific results,published fast in about 6 months.
