Code review is a powerful activity for software quality improvement, and is ideal to review all source files being developed. However, such an exhaustive review would be difficult because the available time and effort are in reality limited. Thus, practitioners prioritize the source files in terms of bug-proneness by using related data such as bug fix history, and review them in decreasing order of priority-such strategy in this paper is called the "conventional method." While the conventional method is straightforward, it focuses only on the bug-proneness and cannot consider the review cost properly, so the method does not produce a cost-effective review plan. To take into account both the bug-proneness and the review cost, this paper proposes a 0-1 programming model-based method for planning code review. The proposed method formulates a review plan as a 0-1 programming problem, and the solution is the recommendation list of source files to be reviewed. Moreover, the proposed method considers the type of file-if the file is newly-developed or not. Such difference in file type may affect on how to evaluate the bug-proneness and the review strategy: newly-developed files are notable but not appeared in the bug fix history. This paper conducts a case study using popular open source software, shows that the proposed method is up to 42% more effective than the conventional method in recommending buggy files as the review targets.

With the economy growing rapidly, as one ofthe means of transportation, the aircraft has played a significant role. But, there is a feature of the aircraft that if it happens to be faced with an air crush, the passen gers from the airplane will merely be alive. So building a generic mathematical model to seek for the crashed plane is urgent. In this paper, the aircraft's rescuing mission is made up of two sections incIuding determining the position where the aircraft drops into the sea, which also is the center of the searching area and the plan that how to rescue it by the equipment. The dynamic models expressed by the differential equations are introduced to simulate the flight path in the first section. In order to achieve the optimal allocation of searching and rescuing devices, the 0-1 programming model aiming at minimizing time is adopted to solve the searching task on the surface of the sea. And the searching plan is operated in the area solved though the position in the first section. What's more, the simulation experiments in this paper confirm that the model we design is an excellent generic model for the plane's searching task, which has a guiding role for future work.

This paper reports an application of the 0-1 programming model to the regression testing plan for an industrial software. The key idea is to formulate a testing plan as a 0-1 programming problem (Knapsack problem). The empirical study shows that the 0-1 programming method can produce a cost-effective testing plan in which all potential regressions are found at only 22% of the cost of running all test cases.

For enterprises, the ordering and transportation process of raw materials is a key link. Aiming at the problem of ordering and transportation of raw materials in enterprises, this paper establishes Topsis comprehensive evaluation model, entropy weight method, 0-1 integer programming model and so on, and uses Matlab, Lingo, Excel and so on to solve it. First of all, the collected data are classified according to A, B and C. Then four indicators are created and calculated: the cooperation rate between each supplier and the production enterprise, the demand satisfaction level of each supplier to the enterprise, the actual market share of each supplier to the same material, and the actual weekly distribution rate of each supplier. Then the Topsis comprehensive evaluation model is established, and the entropy method is used to modify the model, and the comprehensive weights are 0.0408, 0.0555, 0.4495 and 0.4542 respectively, thus the comprehensive score of each supplier is obtained, and the score is sorted, and the supplier data can be screened. The total supply of each supplier to each raw material within 240 weeks is calculated respectively, and the production capacity ratio of each raw material is obtained. Based on this, the rankings of three types of data accounting for the 50 most important suppliers are calculated. Then, with the minimum number of suppliers in the raw material ordering process as the objective function and the weekly production capacity standard as the constraint, a 0-1 integer programming model is established to get at least the number of suppliers. Then the goal programming is carried out around the lowest raw material procurement cost, and the demand of all kinds of raw materials is taken as the constraint, a linear programming model is established, and the results of the ordering plan for the next 24 weeks are shown in Annex A. Traffic sensor location approach for flow inference

Traffic sensors serve an important function in obtaining traffic information. In this paper, a novel traffic sensor location approach is proposed to determine the maximum number of traffic flows by considering the time-spatial correlation. The problem is formulated as three 0-1 programming models to maximise the number of obtained flows under different cases. To solve these novel sensor location problems, an ant colony optimisation algorithm with a local search procedure is designed. Numerical experiments are conducted in both a simulated network and in the Sioux-Falls network. Results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed algorithm, which is believed to possess potential applicability in real surveillance network design.

Possibilistic-diagnosis theory for fault-section estimation and state identification of unobserved protective relays using tabu-search method

In the paper an integrated approach is presented for fault-section estimation and state identification of those protective relays whose state information is not available in electrical power dispatching centres (hereafter the authors refer to these protective relays as unobserved protective relays) using tabu-search (TS) method. The proposed fault-section estimation method utilises incomplete operational information of protective relays and tripping information of circuit breakers, and is able to deal with tho operating reliabilities ii of protective relays and circuit breakers. At first, based on the logic relationship among section fault, protective relay operation and circuit breaker trip, a 0-1 integer programming model for fault-section estimation and state identification of unobserved protective relays (FSE-SIUPR) is presented. The developed model is based on recently proposed possibilistic-diagnosis theory under graded uncertainty and the well developed parsimonious set covering theory. In this model. the problem of the fault-section estimation under incomplete information from protective relays is dealt with in a formal and systematic manner, and the operating reliabilities of protective relays ana circuit breakers are taken into account at the same time. Secondly, the TS method is used to solve this 0-1 programming model to find the optimal solution efficiently. In addition. an efficient method for identification of faulty subnetworks which include all faulty sections is adopted by using the realtime information from circuit breakers. Extensive: test results of a sample power system have demonstrated the correctness of the developed mathematical model and the efficiency of the TS-based method.

Non-intrusive load monitoring and decomposition method based on decision tree

In order to realize the problems of non-intrusive load monitoring and decomposition (NILMD) from two aspects of load identification and load decomposition, based on the load characteristics of the database, this paper firstly analyzes and identifies the equipment composition of mixed electrical equipment group by using the load decision tree algorithm. Then, a 0-1 programming model for the equipment status identification is established, and the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is used to solve the model for equipment state recognition, and the equipment operating state in the equipment group is identified. Finally, a simulation experiment is carried out for the partial data of Question A in the 6th "teddy cup" data mining challenge competition.

The raw materials of production enterprises are an indispensable factor to ensure the production capacity of enterprises. In this paper, we first select the evaluation indexes, obtain the weight vectors of all indexes through AHP, verify that they have passed the consistency test, and establish a multi index weighted grey target decision-making model to complete the evaluation of the importance of suppliers. Then we use 0-1 programming and dynamic programming algorithms to analyze the ordering and transportation of raw materials in production enterprises from multiple angles, and finally determine the best ordering strategy and the transportation scheme with the least loss.

Optimized Three-Stage Strategy of Orderly Management of File Stream in Network Printing Workflow

This paper proposed the optimized three-stage strategy of orderly management of file stream in network printing workflow. In first stage the customer preflight was added to the conventional prepress preflight, which set quick-type, general-type, stable-type and comprehensive-type preflight scheme for customers by investigating the possibility of occurrence of errors of various preflight entries and customer relevancy. Based on four types of preflight schemes, four customer preflight applications were created by using Pitstop Pro and Connector You. Customers can select one of the appropriate applications for quick preflight before delivering to reduce the probability of returning the files back for correction when errors occur in preflight. Second stage is printing enterprise prepress preflight,which proposed the concept of the prepress preflight tolerance. In addition, according to the different requirements of printing technology and quality, this paper established the prepress preflight scheme based on the printing enterprises’ tolerance for preflight error. Third stage is to manage the optimized sorting of prepress file stream. To achieve it, the SPT rule and the 0-1 programming model were adopted, time spend of preflight, printing process and post-press finishing was also taken into ***, Enfocus Switch software was applied to establish automated network printing workflow and complete the file stream sorting. Finally, the result of simulation analysis of the optimized strategy shows that the optimized three-stage strategy can effectively shorten the file processing time.
