After the research and analysis of the existing UAV 3d scene simulation system, it is learned that the most commonly used simulation system is the hardware-in-the-loop simulation, but this kind of hardware-in-the-loop simulation has some shortcomings, such as that the workload of building is relatively large, and the resources used are relatively large. Therefore, this paper designs a 3d visual simulation system of UAV based on X-Plane, which mainly includes three parts: as a simulation demonstration environment, X-Plane can better show the flight state of UAV, and puts forward its own method on how to load a user-defined UAV model in X-Plane. The digital aircraft uses UdP communication protocol to communicate with X-Plane and SITL with MAVProxy (UdP) to interact with the control platform. As a middleware, it connects the control platform and X-Plane. PId control algorithm and area coverage route planning method of parallel line segmentation are used in the control platform, which can send control commands to UAV, such as takeoff, landing, hovering, etc.

dam break is a serious social disaster, which causes a great deal of damage to the society and environment in downstream areas. 3d visual simulation of dam-break process at the dam breach is the significant foundation for the dam safety evaluation and insurance. Based on the agent model and its auxiliary model, realistic graph facture, the dynamic visual simulation and output after rendering, 3d visual simulation of instantaneous dam-break process at the dam breach can be proposed. A reservoir located in Shenzhen province is taken as the representative case, visualization of three calculation conditions about No. 2 dam is performed, dam-break processes at the dam breach are simulated factually, which can provide the theoretical basis and technical support for the risk decision and management of dam security.

In order to achieve autonomous operation, the kinematics model and experiment system of telescopic excavator are studied. Firstly, the operation space of the robotic excavator is classified and mapping models between different spaces are established based on the d-H method and geometrical relationship method. Then, the virtual prototype of the telescopic robotic excavator is built based on the SimMechanics software, leveling operation and digging operation are simulated;kinematics model and virtual prototype are tested and verified. Finally, experimental system is developed and trajectory tracking experiment is carried out. By comparing with the simulation results, the validity of the proposed control scheme is verified. The research of this article laid foundations for further study and application.

To ensure the safe operation of dangerous experiment teaching, a three-dimensional (3d) virtual experiment system was developed based on OpenSceneGraph (OSG), which would provide a safe and simple virtual lab environment for students. The virtual scene was rendered and managed through 3d engine OSG. Firstly, the system's architecture and scene organization were analyzed and designed. Secondly, a general experiment data format was designed and the operation processing method was realized, which could be used to customize applications for various experimental items easily. The application results show that this system had good performance on real-time and operability, and could make the students to master the security measures and experimental procedures efficiently.

In 3d real-time simulation system of ocean scene, ship wakes' effect is important. Based on the dispersive nature of deepwater surface wave, particle system's movement models of bow wake were built. Stern wake's shape-like particle system model was built according to its field angle's distance-width formula. Then the two models were realized through OSG particle system on VS2010 platform. The application results show that this two methods have better 3d display effect and rendering efficiency.

With regards to the characteristics of inter-basin water transfer projects, a 3d visual simulation (Three-dimensional visual simulation, 3dVS) method for inter-basin water transfer project was proposed. A virtual reproduction of the entire project and its topography is achieved. The supplement of the three-dimensional topographic data was completed by Civil 3d combinedwith Google Earth. In this paper, the 3d digital model of inter-basin water transfer project is established using 3ds Max. Based on the established digital model, the simulation of channel water were realized. The Yuzhou section of South-to-North Water Transfer Project is taken as a case study. 3d visual simulation provides an effective way for the construction management and decision-making for inter-basin water diversion project.

3d virtual simulation has been widely used in the design of manufacturing plants. This paper focuses on the application of 3d virtual simulation in process industry. It discusses the impacts of the characteristics of the process manufacturing and the simulation users requirements on the integration of 3d visual simulation and process simulation. An actual case of grinding circuit simulation is introduced. The hardware in the loop simulation structure and the real-time data integration techniques are discussed in detail. Finally, a solution of real-time integration is provided.
