The alternating direction implicit scheme (adi) has been successfully applied to Finite-Difference Time-Domain (fdtd) method to achieve an unconditionally stable algorithm. In this paper the adi-fdtd method is extended to a conformal fdtd scheme in curvilinear coordinates. The effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed adi-Nfdtd is demonstrated.
