The autonomous robot is used to dig the hole in the mud underwater along the prearranged trajectory in wreck salvage. The working condition of the robot in the mud is terrible. The location system is designed. Based on the location method, the location errors of the autonomous robot are analyzed. The LMS adaptive algorithm of location system is simulated in the computer. The simulation results show that LMS adaptive algorithm can decrease the errors of location system.

We consider the inverse medium problem for the time-harmonic wave equation with broadband and multipoint illumination in the low frequency regime. Such a problem finds many applications in geosciences (e.g. ground penetrating radar), non-destructive evaluation (acoustics), and medicine (optical tomography). We use an integralequation (Lippmann-Schwinger) formulation, which we discretize using a quadrature method. We consider only small perturbations of the background medium (Born approximation). To solve this inverse problem, we use a least squares formulation that is regularized with the truncated Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). If N-omega is the number of excitation frequencies, N-s the number of incoming waves, N-d the number of detectors, and N the parameterization for the scatterer, a dense singular value decomposition for the overall input-output map will have [min(NsN omega N-d, N)](2) xmax(NsN omega Nd, N) cost. We have developed a fast SVD approach that brings the cost down to O(NN omega Nd + NN omega Ns) thus, providing orders of magnitude improvements over a black-box dense SVD. In the second part of this contribution, we propose an adaptive algorithm in space to optimize the ratio between the number of points and the accuracy. The method uses an octree to drive the computation. The refinement criterion is derived from the method used for the detection of edges in piecewise smooth functions, from their spectral data.

In order to effectively eliminate the measurement and system noise and improve the accuracy of the gravity anomaly, based on the sage-husa filter, a modified adaptive Kalman filter is proposed. The sum of the weighted innovation sequence is used as the innovation at current time, and then system parameters Q and R can be estimated by the innovation. The adaptive algorithm is conducted theoretically and based on the real gravity data, the de-noising experiment has been emulated. The simulations indicate that both filters can effectively inhibit the noise of inertial/gravity system, but the proposed filter has a better performance than sage-husa adaptive filter.

In this paper, we address the problem of speech enhancement by adaptive filtering algorithm. A particular attention has been made for the backward blind source separation (BBSS) algorithm and its use in speech enhancement application. In this paper, we propose to implement the BBSS algorithm in the Wavelet-domain. The proposed backward wavelet BBSS (WBBSS) algorithm is then used in speech enhancement test. The new WBBSS shows better performances in terms of convergence speed and steady state in comparison with BBSS one. The obtained results have been evaluated in terms of segmental SNR and cepstral distance criteria and confirm the best performance of the proposed WBBSS algorithm.

The use of fuzzy logic in the medical environment is very promising as it offers the possibility to incorporate the knowledge and experience of the physician into fuzzy sets and rules. The type-2 fuzzy logic makes it even possible to incorporate the knowledge of several physicians into a single controller, thus enhancing it with the uncertainty present among different physicians. Once the controller is defined the outputs depend solely on its current inputs. It does not take any process information into account. For that purpose the controller is enhanced with an adaptive algorithm. It allows gradual changes by also keeping the initial rules, which had been defined by the physician and are helping for his comprehension of how rules are being applied. The type-2 fuzzy controller and the adaptive algorithm are described and compared to each other in the application of blood pressure regulation with drugs.

Accurate channel equalizer is necessary for coherent detection of the underwater acoustic orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals. we proposed an approach using training sequence to obtain the channel information by LMS adaptive equalizer algorithm, at the receive LMS adaptive equalizer is imposed to the receiveed signal in time domain toobtain the channle impulse response. Time-domain equalization is computationally efficient because it does not require FFT operations. Thus, this approach is very attractive for hardware implementation of an underwater acoustic OFDM receiver. then using the channel infomation to obtain equalize other OFDM symbol.

Nowadays, recommendation systems in e-commerce are booming because of their potential and applicability for personalized services to customers. However, recommendation is not always what customers are expecting. Odd pitches and poor matches in the system have led to outpouring of anecdotes. It means that quality control doesn't apply to the recommendation here. To cope with this problem, this paper proposes a new way to improve both the quality of rating and recommendation itself for e-recommendation system. The concepts will integrate to the implementation of our on-going e-recommendation system and the second concept is illustrated in a financial domain.

The vertex cover (VC) problem has been studied for past few years, and some centralized and distributed algorithms have been proposed. In this paper, we propose the so-called random memory length adaptive (RMLA) algorithm for the VC problem in networks. Any initial state can reach the stable pure strict Nash equilibrium state through finite iterations by the RMLA algorithm. We find that by setting the minimum edge-keeping probability reasonably, the convergence rapidity and accuracy can be improved simultaneously. Our algorithm also removes the requirement for consistent node memory length. Through theoretical analysis and intensive numerical simulations, we verify the convergence and effectiveness of the RMLA algorithm.
