Complex heterogeneous scenarios with multiple mission requirement relationships, poor model scalability, resource conflicts during mission planning are the serious challenges currently facing the field of multi-satellite imaging mission planning (MSIMP). To solve this difficult problem, this paper proposes an Objective task-matching strategy and Improved adaptive differential evolution algorithm (OTMS-IADE). Firstly, the target task matching strategy for MSIMP in complex heterogeneous scenarios is constructed for multi-user, multi-satellite and multi-task situations, which overcomes the problem of poor scalability of the planning model in complex heterogeneous scenarios, and reduces the loss of resources caused by inappropriate task allocation; Secondly, to address the problem of low execution efficiency and long planning time due to large MSIMP solution space and complex constraints in complex heterogeneous scenarios, an improved adaptive differential evolution algorithm is proposed to reasonably trade-off the spatial search performance and the spatial exploitation performance to enhance the algorithm solution efficiency. Simulation experiments show that the OTMS-IADE algorithm for processing complex heterogeneous scenarios MSIMP has obvious advantages regarding task importance optimization and timeliness.

In this paper, a model-based global optimization strategy for vapor compression refrigeration system (VCRS) is proposed. The energy models of compressor, evaporator fan and condenser fan are established, and the energy consumption under different working conditions are predicted. To optimize the energy consumption of the entire system under the premise of ensuring indoor cooling demands, heat transfer models of the evaporator and condenser are also established. An objective function and component interaction optimization problem that satisfies indoor cooling capacity constraints are proposed. Six controllable variables related to the performance of the VCRS system are chosen as the control settings. The self-adaptive differential evolution (SADE) algorithm with fast convergence speed is used to solve the optimization problem, and the optimal control settings are obtained. Simulations are carried out and the proposed optimization strategy is compared with the traditional strategy. The results show that the global optimization of the operation strategy can achieve 15.18% energy saving effect on the test day.

Station Distribution is one of the key problems affecting the accuracy of TDOA(time difference of arrival)passive *** order to obtain the optimal positioning results in a given reconnaissance area,a station distribution optimization algorithm of TDOA location is proposed in this paper,which is adaptive matching the reconnaissance *** this algorithm,the mathematical modeling of location error is firstly implemented,and then the cost function of location error is constructed in the reconnaissance *** this basis,the adaptive differential evolution algorithm is carried to find the optimal station distribution to minimize the cost *** simulation results show that compared with the classical station distribution methods,the station distribution produced by the proposed algorithm can be adjusted adaptively with the reconnaissance area,the TDOA location error is effectively reduced in the reconnaissance area,and more accurate positioning results are obtained.

Optimal spatial priority scheme of urban LID-BMPs under different investment periods

The optimal spatial layout of low impact development best management practices (LID-BMPs) can be used to inform LID-BMP construction to prioritize resources to achieve the highest comprehensive benefits. An objective decomposition algorithm is designed to decompose the control objectives of total rainwater runoff, peak discharge, pollution reduction and rainwater utilization for each pixel of a raster image. A type selection algorithm is then designed to optimize the types of LID-BMPs deployed in each pixel. The most suitable positions for the construction of LID-BMPs are identified using a topographic index model to determine spatial priority level of LID-BMP construction sequence. A multi-objective model, including the maximum average reduction ratios of runoff and pollution and minimum total cost, is constructed. An adaptive differential evolution algorithm (ADEA) is designed to solve the multi-objective optimization problem. The optimal grid-based priority scheme is obtained for high-resolution spatial planning. It is shown that the most suitable positions for implementing LID-BMPs are located in regions with negative soil moisture deficits. Optimal total cost and reduction ratios of runoff and pollution to construct LID-BMPs in Yinchuan, China are $49,463,516, and 0.46 and 0.38 in the first priority scheme;$50,920,496, and 0.74 and 0.62 in the second priority scheme;and $99,207,806, and 0.92 and 0.86 in the third priority scheme. The optimal spatial priority schemes of LID-BMPs obtained from the ADEA can maintain the maximum runoff and pollution controls under different investment periods.

To improve the accuracy of heading angle measured by electronic compass. a new error compensation method is proposed based on adaptive differential evolution algorithm and BP neural network. In the method, the 3-layer BP neural network is used to model heading angle error, and adaptive differential evolution algorithm is adopted to train the weights of network, thus obtaining a more exact error model, and compensating the heading angle error measured by electronic compass. This method is compared with eight position least square, BP neural network, differential evolution algorithm, BP neural network optimization and other compensation *** accuracy of error compensation is improved obviously, and it has the characteristics of strong global optimization ability, fast convergence speed and good stability. The experimental results show that after compensation, the error range of heading angle is decreased from -16 degrees similar to 30.7 degrees to -0.22 degrees similar to 0.2 degrees , which satisfies the needs of higher accuracy navigation systems.

COSUM: Text summarization based on clustering and optimization

Text summarization is a process of extracting salient information from a source text and presenting that information to the user in a condensed form while preserving its main content. In the text summarization, most of the difficult problems are providing wide topic coverage and diversity in a summary. Research based on clustering, optimization, and evolutionary algorithm for text summarization has recently shown good results, making this a promising area. In this paper, for a text summarization, a two-stage sentences selection model based on clustering and optimization techniques, called COSUM, is proposed. At the first stage, to discover all topics in a text, the sentences set is clustered by using k-means method. At the second stage, for selection of salient sentences from clusters, an optimization model is proposed. This model optimizes an objective function that expressed as a harmonic mean of the objective functions enforcing the coverage and diversity of the selected sentences in the summary. To provide readability of a summary, this model also controls length of sentences selected in the candidate summary. For solving the optimization problem, an adaptive differential evolution algorithm with novel mutation strategy is developed. The method COSUM was compared with the 14 state-of-the-art methods: DPSO-EDASum;LexRank;CollabSum;UnifiedRank;0-1 non-linear;query, cluster, summarize;support vector machine;fuzzy evolutionary optimization model;conditional random fields;MA-SingleDocSum;NetSum;manifold ranking;ESDS-GHS-GLO;and differential evolution, using ROUGE tool kit on the DUC2001 and DUC2002 data sets. Experimental results demonstrated that COSUM outperforms the state-of-the-art methods in terms of ROUGE-1 and ROUGE-2 measures.

Modeling, identification and compensation of hysteresis nonlinearity for a piezoelectric nano-manipulator

Hysteresis nonlinearity widely exists in piezoelectric actuated nano-positioning applications, which degrades their tracking accuracy and limits their precision positioning applications. This paper presents a novel hysteresis modeling and compensation approach to alleviate the adverse effect of the asymmetric and rate-dependent hysteresis nonlinearity for a piezoelectric transducer actuated servo stage. By integrating a generalized input function with the play operator of the classical Prandtl-Ishlinskii model, a novel polynomial-based rate-dependent Prandtl-Ishlinskii (PRPI) model is proposed to capture the hysteresis behavior of the piezoelectric positioning stage, where a polynomial function of input and a time rate function of input are introduced to formulate the generalized input function. Meanwhile, a new adaptive differential evolution optimization algorithm is developed to identify the parameters of the proposed PRPI hysteresis model. Based on the PRPI hysteresis model with the identified parameters, an inverse feedforward controller is constructed to achieve the accurate tracking motion. Furthermore, the hysteresis compensation error of the proposed PRPI model is theoretically analyzed. Finally, comparative experiments are conducted, and the experimental results provided in this paper demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed inverse PRPI model compensation approach.

Composite Hierarchical Anti-Disturbance Control with Multisensor Fusion for Compact Optoelectronic Platforms

In the aerospace field, compact optoelectronic platforms (COPs) are being increasingly equipped on unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). They assist UAS in a range of mission-specific tasks such as disaster relief, crop testing, and firefighting. However, the strict constraint of structure space makes COPs subject to multi-source disturbances. The application of a low-cost and low-precision sensor also affects the system control performance. A composite hierarchical anti-disturbance control (CHADC) scheme with multisensor fusion is explored herein to improve the motion performance of COPs in the presence of internal and external disturbances. Composite disturbance modelling combining the characteristic of wire-wound moment is presented in the inner layer. The adaptive mutation differential evolution algorithm is implemented to identify and optimise the model parameters of the system internal disturbance. Inverse model compensation and finite-time nonlinear disturbance observer are then constructed to compensate for multiple disturbances. A non-singular terminal sliding mode controller is constructed to attenuate disturbance in the outer layer. A stability analysis for both the composite disturbance compensator and the closed-loop system is provided using Lyapunov stability arguments. The phase lag-free low-pass filter is implemented to interfuse multiple sensors with different order information and achieve satisfactory noise suppression without phase lag. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed CHADC strategy with a higher-quality signal has an improved performance for multi-source disturbance compensation.

A Model for Text Summarization

Text summarization is a process for creating a concise version of document(s) preserving its main content. In this paper, to cover all topics and reduce redundancy in summaries, a two-stage sentences selection method for text summarization is proposed. At the first stage, to discover all topics the sentences set is clustered by using k-means method. At the second stage, optimum selection of sentences is proposed. From each cluster the salient sentences are selected according to their contribution to the topic (cluster) and their proximity to other sentences in cluster to avoid redundancy in summaries until the appointed summary length is reached. Sentence selection is modeled as an optimization problem. In this study, to solve the optimization problem an adaptive differential evolution with novel mutation strategy is employed. With a test on benchmark DUC2001 and DUC2002 data sets, the ROUGE value of summaries got by the proposed approach demonstrated its validity, compared to the traditional methods of sentence selection and the top three performing systems for DUC2001 and DUC2002.

An active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) technique based on adaptive differential evolution (ADE) algorithm and an improved PID control strategy were proposed so as to solve the problem of self-balancing control and steering control for two-wheeled self-balancing robot. By using Lagrange formula, the nonholonomic dynamic mathematical model was derived based on the nonholonomic dynamic Routh equation of generalized coordinates. For self-balancing control, an ADRC strategy whose parameters were adjusted by means of ADE algorithm was designed. For steering control, a PID control strategy combined with tracking differentiator (TD) was designed. The dynamic model of the whole robot was built through Adams software by applying virtual prototype technology. Finally, co-simulations using both Matlab/Simulink and Adams were carried on. The co-simulation results showed that the supposed control strategy could achieve self-balancing and steering operation effectively with the performance of fast adjusting speed, high accuracy and strong robustness as well.
