As a new variant of swarm intelligence algorithm, fireworksalgorithm (FWA) has significant performance on solving single objective problems, and has been applied broadly on a number of fields. To further improve its performance, a best firework updating information guided adaptive fireworks algorithm (PgAFWA) is proposed, in which the evolving process is guided by the direction from previous best firework to the current best firework from two aspects: amplifying the explosion amplitude on the direction that the best firework is updated, and making more sparks which are generated by the best firework distributed on this direction to further enhance the exploring ability on it. Numerical experiment on CEC2015 test suite was implemented to verify performance of the proposed algorithm. The experiment results indicated that the PgAFWA outperformed the compared algorithms in terms of both convergence speed and solving quality.

Aiming at the typical problem of unmanned underwater vehicle (UAV) path planning, this paper proposes a fuzzy optimization algorithm based on adaptivefireworks. Firstly, the track performance index with a multi-objective fuzzy optimization strategy based on energy consumption and buoy threat was established. Then, the adaptivefireworks search algorithm was used for track planning. Finally, three groups of simulation and comparison experiments with different levels of complex environment were carried out. The results showed that the fuzzy optimization algorithm based on adaptivefireworks can effectively solve the multi-objective fuzzy optimization problem. The method proposed in this paper provided a useful reference for unmanned underwater vehicle path planning.

adaptive fireworks algorithm (AFWA) is an effective algorithm for solving optimization problems. However, AFWA is easy to fall into local optimal solutions prematurely and it also provides a slow convergence rate. In order to improve these problems, the purpose of this paper is to apply two-master sub-population (TMS) and new selection strategy to AFWA with the goal of further boosting performance and achieving global optimization. Our simulation compares the proposed algorithm (TMSFWA) with the FWA-Based algorithms and other swarm intelligence algorithms. The results show that the proposed algorithm achieves better overall performance on the standard test functions.

According to the characteristics of high flexibility, high frequency of fault and difficult to detect real-time of the UAV, fault classification model by the Back Propagation neural network based on wavelet entropy and adaptive fireworks algorithm has been proposed. The fault signal can be analyzed locally with wavelet packet entropy, then extract the feature vector, which is used to express the feature state of the UAV in different sensor faults. For the sack of the defects of the BP neural network algorithm, such as low convergence speed and easy to fall into the local minimum value, we update and optimize the weights and thresholds of the BP neural network by adaptive fireworks algorithm, which is based on the best fireworks individual analyzed by the immune concentration idea. The experiment results show that the convergence speed of the network is faster, the error of function approximation is smaller and fault classification accuracy is higher compared with PSO-BP and GA-BP algorithm.
