This application will also be used by travelling agencies to manage their customer trips, acquire information, etc. This application will provide notepad to add important task to do. It will also provide help center to the user to chat with administrator to solve the queries. Travel Portal application is based on the idea that travelers rely on other traveler reviews to plan their trips. This project Travel Portal helps build strong web enabled solutions that are customized to the needs of individual customers;turnkey solutions for travel agencies and intermediaries, airlines, hotels and transportation companies.

Beef quality is determined by a number of parameters;some of which include size, texture, color feature, or meat smell. Recently, determining the meat quality is done by seeing the color and shape. However this method still has some weaknesses due to, for example, the subjectivity and inconsistency in human assessment. The aim of this research is to make an application to detect the meat quality. The application built was based on mobile using Java Programming Language on the android integrated with android sdk, Eclipse, and OpenCV. The method of image processing used pre-processing, k-mean clustering, and the analysis was conducted statistically with mean value and deviation standard. The quality detection meanwhile was performed using the texture and meat texture matching based upon the existing data. The application made could be used to seek the significant k-values and able to detect the level of quality by providing the level of accuracy at 80%.

The recent advancement of mobile computing technology and smartphones have changed the way we live, communicate, interact, and understand the world. Smartphones have various salient features that make them promising system platforms for the development of context-aware applications, e.g., embedded sensors in smartphones make them more convenient to be used for making context-rich information available to applications. Although the state of the art development of smartphones has endued developers to build advanced context-aware applications, many challenges still remain. Those are mostly due to the limited resources available in the mobile devices including computational and communication resources. This paper surveys the recent advances in context-aware applications in mobile platforms, and proposes a decentralized context- aware computing model that makes use of the smartphone platform, a P2P communication model, and declarative rule-based programming.

广播系统具有实用性、经济性、便捷性等特点。目前互联网发展迅速,同时信息在网络中具有高效快速的传播特点。互联网上的信息是海量的并且是全球化的。这与广播系统的特点不谋而合。为了进一步扩大广播系统适用于大众化,并使信息能够进一步快速方便的服务于大众,广播系统需要向网络化的进行转型。综上所述,为了更好的服务于大众和信息的进一步高效快速的传播,设计一个基于Java EE和android平台的沭阳广播系统是非常必要的。本系统采用Java Web和android平台的相关知识。分别采用B/S模式和C/S模式两种来实现系统所需的功能要求。本系统分为:手机客户端和电脑后台管理系统两部分功能。手机端采用的是C/S模式,手机端的功能主要包含图文新闻功能模块,视频新闻功能模块,经典栏目功能模块,关于我们功能模块,沃拍功能模块。同时有领导权限的使用者有对新闻信息具有审核的权限。进过审核的新闻信息可以共享与大众使用者。服务器端采用的是B/S模式栏目管理功能模块,新闻管理功能模块,经典栏目功能模块,关于我们功能模块,组织机构功能模块。同时在服务器端有领导权限的使用者有对新闻信息具有审核的权限。进过审核的新闻信息可以共享与大众使用者。该系统提供了友好交互的界面再增加一些特点。为了增加界面的友好交互,该系统也使用了当下比较流行的Ajax技术和JQuery技术。使用Ajax技术后界面的响应速度很明显得到了提高,使用了JQuery技术后很明显增加了界面的动态效果,用户在使用时会有比较好的展示效果。

A university campus may he very large or it may have many campuses. Every year lots of new students get admitted in the university. Many new buildings are built, new courses are started and some departments may he relocated inside the campus. There are no facilities to find places like administrative building, departments, library, canteen, etc. in the campus and how to find those places from current location. It creates problem to the new comer to reach easily and timely in the desired location. The new faculty member, staff and visitors also face same problem inside campuses. Moreover, there does not exist an efficient system to inform about any event which will happen just few minutes or few hours later in the university campus with its proper location and shortest path from current location. Nowadays, most of the students, faculty members and staff use android phone for personal purpose. A Global Positioning System (GPS) based map application will be most helpful to locate desired place and shortest path from current location and to get updates of events on map with its location. Thus, it will reduce frustration and confusion of anybody inside the campus. This paper presents the architecture and design of a Google Map based application on android Platform. The application has been implemented using android sdk and has been tested for two campuses of Jadavpur University (Main campus and Salt Lake campus).

Analysis of traffic signal and ensure the safety of visually impaired people is a major challenge in helping disabled people. In this paper, we propose development of an application software which can be easily installed on a mobile device equipped with a camera. This application opens a camera and captures the traffic timer display upon tapping the app-icon. The timer image is then processed to segment the digits in them to identify the actual time in the numeric form. The detected time is then converted as a voice message and played using the app. Thus, the visually impaired person can hear the message about the time left to turn on the pedestrian signal. Getting this alert message, he/she can safely cross the road. The accuracy of the proposed algorithm is found to be 100% as it detected all the digits in every instance of the timer display image.
