In this paper, an advanced anti -collisionalgorithm in RFID-sensor network based on inter -tag communication mechanism is proposed to improve the performance of the system. By employing the "Tag Communication Slot" (TCS) and designing the relevant hardware, the tags can communicate with each other, transmit useful data to fewer tags and reduce the number of tags participating in the identification process. In this way, we can efficiently reduce the collision rate with the increase of tag number and improve the tag starvation problem in Dynamic Framed Slotted ALOHA algorithm (DFSA). The simulation results show that the TCS algorithm can greatly improve the system stability and identification efficiency especially in the case of large tag number.

RFID (Radio frequency Identification) has become an efficient way to identify, track and/or trace objects and people. Its importance has motivated scientists and researchers to examine the challenges that are slowing its expeditious deployment in various applications. RFID collision is a major challenge imposed by the wireless links shared among a reader and the many tags in the interrogation zone. In most proposed anti-collision algorithms, tags reply randomly to time slots chosen by the reader. Since two or more tags may choose the same slot, this Random Access (RA) causes garbled data at the reader side;therefore, the identification process fails. In this paper, we propose a new anti-collision algorithm that adopts a novel method for eliminating the theory of RA to enhance system efficiency and to reduce both the number of rounds between reader and tag and the number of collided/empty slots over existing algorithms. In this algorithm, tags use modulo function to choose tag owned time slot. Another advantage of this method is that the reader estimates the next frame size and compares it with the previously selected frame sizes that are saved in the reader to ensure there is no redundancy. The performance of the algorithm is simulated and compared with existent Aloha family algorithms.

At present, radio frequency identification technology has been widely used in many fields, such as data acquisition, transportation, logistics management and so on. However, the collision problem in RFID technology seriously affects the performance of RFID system. Aimed at the shortcomings of search times and traffic by the traditional binary search algorithm, this paper propose an improved binary search algorithm based on the combination of dynamic binary search algorithm and backward binary search algorithm. Experimental results show that the improved algorithm greatly reduces search times and the amount of data transmission, thereby improving the recognition efficiency.

The work aims at the problem of multi-tag collision in RFID system, then analysis the binary tree algorithm and ALOHA and points out their shortcomings, we proposed a Hybrid of ALOHA and Tree (HAMT) algorithm. The algorithm first uses the DFSA algorithm for tag identification, and dynamically selects the multi-fork tree algorithm for tag identification based on the number of unidentified tags secondly, thus ensuring that the tag is 100% identified, and improves recognition efficiency and shortens recognition time. The results of the simulation show that when the number of tags is about 1000, the recognition efficiency of the HAMT algorithm can reach around 0.72. So the HAMT algorithm can solve the multi-tag collision problem. (C) 2021 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

In this paper, an anti-collision algorithm based CDMA is proposed, using the m sequence as the spreading code and combined with the S-ALOHA algorithm that is known as CMS-ALOHA algorithm. In order to solve the collision problems between multiple RFID tags and improve the identification efficiency, this work presents an improved dynamic framed slotted ALOHA anti-collision algorithm for RFID systems. Based on the time slot distribution information, the algorithm estimates the average number of tags in each collision slot and then dynamically sets the frame size for unrecognized tags due to the collision between multiple tags. We theoretically analyzed the time complexity of the proposed algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed algorithm outperforms other existing algorithms in the literature in terms of the identification efficiency and the total number of time slots.

RFID anti-collision technology is one of a key technology in RFID application system. anti-collision algorithms for RFID systems include tag anti-collision algorithms and reader anti-collision algorithms. This paper focused on the impoved binary algorithm and dynamic binary algorithm. An improved algorithm has been proposed, in which the collision bits was put into the stack and they were used as the reader's request. Based on this mechanism, a novel binary stack algorithm has been proposed. Its simulation was given to analyze the performance of this algorithm. The simulation results showed that the amount of transmitted data in proposed algorithm was obviously less than those in the other two traditional algorithms with the number of tags and their bytes increasing. Consequently, the performance of the proposed algorithm is much better than that of the traditional anti-collision binary algorithm.
