Language barriers frequently stand in the way of successful communication in a society where languages are widely spoken. Moreover, the limited availability of educational resources on Indian history and culture hinders learning and cross-cultural exchange. The CulturalEcho AR Translator employs augmented reality (AR) technology to facilitate real-time translation of text written in Indian languages when viewed through a device’s camera. The system utilizes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to identify the text in Indian languages and translates it into English. Users can quickly comprehend and interact with the content in English. Additionally, the application features a comprehensive content management system that includes a diverse collection of multimedia, historical, and cultural articles and images about India. The AR interface enables users to explore this educational archive, fostering interactive learning experiences enriched with cultural insights. The inclusion of a chatbot further enhances the experience by providing assistance and information, addressing user questions related to translations and cultural topics. The system employs authentication methods, including verified language databases sourced from reputable language authorities and government entities, to ensure the accuracy and legitimacy of translations. Additionally, it offers virtual tours of popular tourist attractions and historical landmarks to enhance the customer experience. With interactive 3D models and panoramas, users can explore historical sites and learn about their significance, deepening their understanding of Indian heritage and culture.

This paper describes the concept, and previous realisations, of multi-perspective images in nature, art and visualisation. By showing how distortions have been used for visualisation, it motivates the use of multi-perspective images, which are similar in effect to object based distortions. A new API being developed to facilitate multi-perspective rendering is presented, with particular reference to its suitability for interactive applications. This API is demonstrated in a simple example of a multiperspective image, where five faces of a cube are shown at once. Further work necessary to make multi-perspective images for visualisation a reality is discussed.

The practice of testing in modeling and simulation software development can be a very lengthy and tedious process but is arguably one of the most important phases in the software development lifecycle. As the complexity of a simulation model increases, so does the amount of testing to thoroughly verify and validate and to achieve adequate quality assurance of the software. This paper introduces a testing framework that is used to assist in proving the validity of DEVS atomic models in the open-source simulation tool Cadmium. Furthermore, this framework utilizes the ChatGPT application programming Interface (API) to help lighten the workload involved in testing those DEVS atomic models. We show how to use the framework using the Cadmium simulator to show the effectiveness of the framework.

Android malwares are proliferating in the public spaces like never before. The urge of the adversaries to collect user data through various means to establish a pattern or behaviour is ever growing. The malwares have become sophisticated to label them as good or bad. In this paper, we try to establish a good set of features from Android applications to label them as benign or malware. We have developed a framework to automatically extract features via stationary, static and dynamic analysis of the Android applications. Pre-static analysis include application meta-data from playstore and Android manifest from application. Static analysis of the application comprises flow-droid's source-sink identification, api to permission mapping and n-gram statistical analysis. Dynamic analysis of the application is performed using Google's droidbox and monitoring the system calls. The features are exported in a general format and can act a input to a learning based model for application classification.

In order to improve the precision of the sprayer field operation and reduce the overlapping rate as well as the missing rate during the spray process, an auxiliary navigation system based on Baidu map JavaScript API (application programming interface) was designed to prevent overlapping spray and missing spray. Technologies such as serial communication, GPS (Global Positioning System) positioning, Baidu map API, path planning and geographic information system were integrated in this system. Accordingly, the functions of vehicle positioning, path planning, job navigation, doodle in operated areas, real-time data collection and automatic processing in spray process could be achieved. In order to verify the reliability and stability of the designed navigation system, an experimental platform was developed for auxiliary navigation system based on the self-developed 3WPG-3000 high clearance self-propelled sprayer. In addition, an RTK GPS and a computer were also integrated in this system. Moreover, experiments of AB line navigation and free line navigation were carried out. The results indicated that the overlapping rate of the AB line navigation and the free line navigation as well as the missing rate of them were 2.54%, 0.26% and 4.43%, 0.88% respectively, which meet the needs of sprayer field operation.

Multiview autostereoscopic systems display three-dimensional (3D) images interleaved from parallax images to provide adequate viewing zones for viewers. A 3D image synthesizing method based on parallel processing with Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) is proposed to accelerate the image synthesizing for real-time autostereoscopic displays. The GPU-based 3D image synthesizing method is implemented with Direct3D application programming Interface (API) library. Compared with traditional methods using Central Processing Unit (CPU), the proposed method takes advantage of GPU graphic processing. The experiments prove that GPU-based 3D image synthesizing method can meet the requirement of real-time 3D image synthesizing and perform well in stereoscopic sense.

Spatial interpolation is important and fundamental to graphing, analysing and understanding of spatial data. In this paper, we introduce some spatial interpolation methods which are suited to 3D geological modeling. We have designed the framework of interpolation algorithm, and encapsulate API to GeoSIS system which provides an interface for easily accessing various interpolations. By calling API, the interpolated values can be calculated out based on the given samples, and then triangle irregular network surfaces can be constructed and visualized in 3D. The results of application show that the methods designed can to produce smooth surfaces which pass through all or most of the given samples and minimize error.

Twitter is observed to be a very strong platform to reach more audience. The thoughts that are shared on twitter can have positive as well as negative impact. In this paper our focus is to find and provide some metrics to evaluate the spread of any tweet. This can be considered as the first step towards identifying the impact of any tweet. We assume that we have appropriate API's or web services to get required information regarding the tweet. We have taken some real time tweet to find the spread. In this work, the speed of spread is also captured. The speed aspect of a spread is found useful in further analysis of certain tweets under investigation.

This study explores the development of a portable multi-fields real-time system for detecting small hazardous objects using limited computational resources. The system integrates camera modules with the Micro Control Unit (MCU) as terminal devices and publishes data to the monitoring server via the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol. In order to enhance the performance of the monitoring system, this method utilizes the OpenVINO Runtime application programming interface (API) to accelerate model computations, thereby increasing the processing speed of the MobileNetV3 object recognition model. Despite the limitations of computing resources typical in consumer electronics, the implementation of this study validates that the proposed approach can enable instant detection of small hazardous objects across multiple fields using lightweight and low-bandwidth communication protocols, thereby enhancing the management of hazardous events.

Virtual Reality (VR) has been widely used for medical area applications in order to help students and health care professionals to practice procedures before execute them on real patients. The evaluation of the user's learning is a very important step in any educational process, including systems for medical training. Serious Games are intended to employ entertaining aspects to training, knowledge transfer and simulations. This category of software can provide more motivation in the use of tools for training and also help in the evaluation of the learner. The aim of this paper is to present a serious game as a way to enhance the user experience in the use of medical training tools that use VR. This serious game contains entertaining aspects that are designed to stimulate the student to perform virtually the examination of breast biopsy.
