In this paper, a Discrete PI Controller of the current in a Bidirectional DC-DC converter is designed. A digital implementation of the designed controller is carried out using the SAM3X8E ARM Cortex M3-based Microcontroller of the arduino due board. The built-in PWM module is used to drive the power electronics switches safely. An experimental verification of the proposed controller is carried out using a reduced scale experimental test bench. Experimental results prove the validity of the proposed control scheme.

In this paper, a real-time digital implementation of a two level space vector pule width modulation (SVPWM) algorithm is carried out using arduino due development board. The main contribution in this work is that the implementation was performed by using directly the internal PWM module of the ARM cortex M3 processor of the ARIL UINO due. By mean of this, the computation time and the resources utilization of the processor are greatly reduced. The other contribution is that this implementation may reduce power losses and harmonics by minimizing the number of switching and generating symmetrical signals. To validate the implemented algorithm, an experimental validation of the SVPWM for two level inverters is carried out by using a SEMIKRON multi-function converter. The results obtained from the experimentation are closer to that of simulation, which confirms the validity of the implemented algorithm.

The arduino due is a microcontroller board based on the Atmel SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 CPU and we can use it to make the speed control and simulation of a PMSM through the Bulirsch-Stoer implementation. The power system that we want to research on contains three parts: an inverter, an electrical machine and a controller. Firstly, we use the classical Electric Machine Models of PMSM, then we present it as a set of Ordinary Differential Equation. Secondly, we solve these equations with the Bulirsch-Stoer algorithm and compare it with the results of Matlab. Finally, we design a suitable control algorithm which contains speed PI controller and current PI controller for the system. The simulation has to deal with a hybrid system, described on the one hand by continuous differential equations solving the model of the electrical machine, and on the other hand by a discrete controller. The continuous part of the system is described by state-space equations that can be solved by the Bulirsch-Stoer algorithm.

Realization of a servo-system this is based on arduino due microcontroller is described in this paper. The developed system was used to create laboratory exercises for students as well as for experimental purposes. The purpose of this setup is to demonstrate the difference between systems working in open and closed control loop, to example different control strategies and to show how changes in different system parameters influence the system performance.

In the bibliography and the different teaching courses on Digital Signal Processing (DSP) there are a substantial space aimed to the digital filters design theory including the approximation methods of Butterworth, Chebyshev, Eliptico, Cauer, pointing to the development of useful methods for calculating the filter coefficients. Until recently the only way to experiment with filters in real time was with commercial DSP boards usually of high cost and low availability considering its application in the DSP laboratory practice. Nowadays, the features of the hardware and the low complexity of the software development environment (IDE) of the arduino platform, give to it important characteristics for the practical implementation of DSP algorithms, especially the arduino due board has enhanced features such as processor SAM3X8E Atmel ARM Cortex-M3, ideal for projects that require high capabilities of processing. In this article is proposed the flexible design and the automatic modification in the digital filter response, IIR or FIR by using arduino due supported by Matlab libraries. The scheme proposed allows a simple and fast comparative analysis between the different filters.

In recent years, low voltage electrical grids are experiencing the growing implementation of distributed generation systems such as solar and wind generators, EV charging systems and storage devices. For this reason the use of a smart management system for every active component becomes necessary to acquire and provide real time measurements of main parameters of power grids and execute automatic actions. In this work, the design and implementation of a cheap, flexible and reliable smart monitoring system is proposed.

Bakalářská práce se věnuje návrhu funkčního prototypu kvadrokoptéry za použití standardních modelářských komponent s~řídící jednotkou arduino due a gyroskopem obsahující čip MPU6050. Cílem je funkční (letu-schopný) prototyp spolu s~mechanismem redukce šance případné srážky s~překážkou za použití ultrazvukových senzorů. V první části je proveden popis jednotlivých komponent a jejich součinnosti, ve druhé části pak popis konečného řešení spolu s popisem vývojového diagramu, zdrojového kódu a vzniklými problémy. Zdrojový kód je napsán v programovacím jazyku arduino, který je založen na jazyku Wiring. Dále je provedena stručná analýza možností autonomního řízení kvadrokoptéry, konkrétně za pomoci GPS modulu a nastínění její realizace. Nakonec jsou zanalyzovány základní způsoby přenosu telemetrie jako jsou přenosy pomocí GSM modulu, wi-fi, bluetooth apod.
