This article presents a novel five-level transformer-based inverter with inherent boosting abilities specially designed for photovoltaic applications. The key distinction of this proposed inverter lies in its three-leg configuration and a single transformer with an increasing output voltage of twice the input voltage, which results in a smaller size, more cost-effective and less complex inverter circuit. Additionally, this innovative design features fewer components, lower total voltage requirements, reduced voltage rate of change (dv/dt), and a decreased number of active devices compared to its counterparts. The article provides a comprehensive explanation of the circuit's operation and principles. It underscores the utilization of arduino programming to generate the required control pulses for this five-level inverter. Finally, simulation results are included to validate the feasibility and performance of the proposed inverter, both in steady-state and dynamic operating conditions. © 2023 IEEE.

The rapid growth of technology has been applied to different areas of a person's daily routine. One of the areas is the automation system that is being applied to our spaces. This study uses the Kalman filtering and Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) algorithm for the motion detection of the system connected to the main controller, which is the arduino uno, wherein the electric load state and time of the day will be programmed. The researchers tested the system in a room, measuring the accuracy of the motion algorithm, the time set for the scheduling feature, and the energy consumed with and without the prototype. In summary, the automated system of the study with the MATLAB algorithm, Kalman filtering, and GMM with time scheduling through arduino can indeed be a cost-effective, energy-saving, and helpful tool that can apply to office spaces.

The design, virtual prototyping and hardware implementation of a DC-DC converter targeted for converting 12 V from the lead acid battery to 5 V for feeding all the DC loads in a residential system is discussed in this paper. The increase of residential DC loads, especially at 5 V level, demands efficient power conversion system. The conventional residential distribution system, in the presence of battery for power backup, contains an inverter that converts the 12 V DC into 230 V, 50 Hz AC which is distributed to all the sockets in the residence. For charging or operating the 5 V DC appliances, an AC-DC converter converts the 230 V AC into 5 V DC. It could be clearly seen that two AC-DC conversions take place where a single DC-DC conversion could do the job more efficiently. The apt selection of such a converter for this application is discussed followed by its design. Also, the virtual prototyping for this converter is implemented in MATLAB to mimic the digital controller's function. Another highlight of this paper is owed to the use of arduino uno for this purpose which gave rise to promising results when implemented in the hardware.

Internet-of-Things (IoT) technology addresses the issues of water loss by efficiently monitoring the water levels, spotting leaks, and refill tanks when needed Notably, this technology can also supply end users and other expert's real real-time feedback through a smartphone or webpage. Review articles on smart water monitoring, including water quality, supply pipe water pipes, and recycling water waste, and freely on hand in the literature. One of the most prevalent issues worldwide is water leaks in the pipes. The local water distribution authorities typically have trouble in finding the fault's location. Numerous things, like the pipeline's aging or ongoing construction in cities, can result in leaks. This research study intends to create an Internet of Things (IoT)-based leak detection system using the arduino IDA open source software. To measure water flow, we designed a prototype with two sensors at the destination and the origin. If leakage appears, a message will be sent to the user's mobile phone. © 2024 IEEE.

We live in the urban region where the piling up of waste heaps is often observed. The waste produced throughout the country is massive and often gets difficult to be segregated manually. The world is becoming smart so must be the solution to our problems. The main objective of our product is to separate metallic waste, wet waste and dry waste automatically. When the waste is thrown into the main bin, the IR sensor sense the waste and the other sensor attached sense the category of waste. Then according to the algorithm fed, the waste is segregated and is thrown in the respective bins with the help of servo motor. This setup produces an automatic way of segregating waste and reduces the manual efforts. This product is made with the help of arduino uno and sensors. © 2024 The Authors.

This paper shows how to implement a didactic control system to obtain zero steady-state error for a ramp input. This system could be used in situations where it is necessary to follow a specific speed profile, such as elevators. Considering that the mechanical pole is responsible for the temporal response, a DC motor can be represented by a first-order system. In this paper, a capacitor and a resistor are used to emulate the characteristics of a DC motor. An arduino uno is used to implement two discrete integrators to obtain zero steady-state for a ramp input. Using Bode Diagrams in W' plane is designed a compensator. The system is assembled and tested and the results are shown.

This work intends to create a model that will be used to clean rivers. The designed model can effectively clean the solid waste that is floating in the river. The main societal purpose of this system is to clean rivers, lakes, ponds, etc. When rivers needed to be cleaned manually, people would board boats and dump their waste near the river's edge. Nevertheless, these methods are costly, time-consuming, and hazardous to people. A river cleaning system that uses Bluetooth has been created with the aforementioned requirements in mind to eliminate the drawbacks listed above. The main objective of the project is to decrease the time and labour required for the machine to clean the river, hence increasing its effectiveness. In this suggested job, we were able to remotely control the river cleaning process with the help of Bluetooth and a motor. © 2023 IEEE.

Internet of Things-based restaurant menu ordering systems have gained popularity in recent years because they provide customers with a convenient way to browse the menu and make orders without having to wait in the queue. It has become a cutting-edge solution that improves the dining experience for patrons and restaurant operators alike. This innovative solution not only transforms the dining experience for customers but also shows to be a priceless resource for restaurant owners looking to improve overall service effectiveness and client happiness. The design and execution of the Internet of Things-based restaurant menu system are covered in this research study. The system utilizes the Internet of Things technology to enable customers to place orders and interact with the restaurant's menu using their smartphones or tablets. The technology also enables the user to receive real-time updates on the status of orders and to effectively coordinate the orders with the restaurant workers. The order details are wirelessly transmitted to the cashier, who subsequently sends the chef the order specifics. The system has helped the restaurant owner to make a lot of money and is also user-friendly. By shortening wait times and streamlining the ordering process, the system is anticipated to improve customer satisfaction. The ordering process offers a smooth experience for both customers and restaurant personnel as it is flexible, secure, and simple to use. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, both developed and developing nations, including India, have become extremely interested in the concept of smart cities. With the advancement of electronics and communication technologies like the Internet of Things, the idea of a 'smart city' now seems to be feasible (10 T). loT research is actively being conducted to improve the dependability and efficiency of urban infrastructure. loT is employed to deal with issues like traffic jams, a lack of parking spaces, and road safety. This objective of this research is to is to make efficient use ofparking spaces especially in metropolitan cities like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore. Using an arduino uno and various types of sensors, the smart car parking system has been designed and developed in this paper. The suggested smart parking system uses an on-site loT module to detect and find the availability of parking place via mobile applications. The loT module that is deployed on-site as part of the proposed smart parking system is used to track and signal the availability of parking space via mobile applications. Here, keep track of open parking spaces and assign those to users. If one is available near the user's location, it displays it. It eases traffic congestion on roadways, in shopping malls, and in multi-store buildings because parking places are few. Users of Mobile Telnet can also check the availability of parking spaces and reserve a spot in accordance. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, we propose a model named Virtual Doctor- Teleconsultation and Parameter Monitoring System' which provides some usefulness of providing medication and helps in gauging the essential parameters (Heart rate, Temperature and SpO2) and UVC (Ultraviolet sort C) sterilization unit for the sensors. During the ongoing situation, diminishing the human-to-human contact in emergency clinics is required. In a bid, to keep specialists and clinical staff from getting impacted by Coronavirus, the job of medication conveying robots are being developed. We can attain the Locomotion procedure of the robot using telegram bot and live video streaming by ESP32-Camera. The working principle is that the Doctor or the Nurse can control the moment of entire model by observing surroundings using a camera and commanding through a mobile application. For this model, we are utilizing the essential microcontroller, that is to say, arduino uno. We were effective in taking readings with the assistance of a sensors and had the option to supply capacity to the UVC light in which it cleaned the articles inside the unit when it was uncovered for 2-3 minutes. Lastly, the robot had the option to move effectively with the assistance of arduino and Wi-Fi arrangement. All the data will be successfully sent to the Doctor's smartphone using Telegram application and NodeMCufor internet connectivity. © 2022 IEEE.
