In its fight to curb the rising Air Pollution, the Delhi government once again initiated the Odd-Even car rationing scheme, which was in effect from April 15, 2016 to April 30, 2016. It is commonly referred to as the Odd-Even phase 2.0 and was chosen once more owing to the success of the Odd-Even phase 1.0. In this paper, we analyze whether this time the scheme was successful or not by performing analytics of real-time data by applying the concept of Internet of Things (IoT). The air quality readings were measured by our prototype device using sensors and through a wifi network these values were uploaded simultaneously on the internet on the IoT platform. This real-time data was concurrently gauged using logs and analyzed graphically to get various insights into New Delhi's traffic pollution pattern. These results are provided here and can be presented to the Delhi Government for further action.

Industrialization and urbanization in India have caused heavy environmental pollution. Most of the surface water had been polluted due to the environmental influence. Providing better quality drinking water to public is also a challenge due to pollution in the ground water and contamination even during distribution. Thus, it is very necessary to have adequate methods and equipment for water protection and drinking water quality measurement is an important aspect for the purpose. The protection of public health is an imperative and the potential of millions of severe effects from water contamination is not unrealistic. There is a need of In-situ monitoring, instant collection and calibration of data rather than manual collection of samples and testing. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has paved its significance into various applications. Although manual monitoring of water quality has been done, it requires a lot of labor, time and equipment. So, there is a need to develop a robust and reliable smart system where a real time monitoring of parameters of water quality for different water distribution tanks is done all the while. In this paper, Water Quality Monitoring (WQM) in a predefined Wireless Sensor zone using Zigbee Technology is implemented. Water Quality can be accessed in practical systems through the sensors which send the water quality data to the base station. Now a days, Renewable energy power generation is playing a main role in which Solar power is widely used. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Controller improves the efficiency of Solar Power System. In this paper, a flexible, reliable Wireless Senor Network (WSN) based method of monitoring the quality of water with maximum power point tracking controlled solar PV system is developed. This research presents an innovative approach to monitoring, measuring, and limiting energy consumption in response to the growing demand for energy due to the proliferation of home appliances. Traditional energy meters fall short in providing real-time insights and energy-saving capabilities, making it difficult for users to manage their consumption effectively. This study proposes the use of RFID technology to enable secure communication within a system that offers both prepaid and postpaid options for energy billing. The system provides instant usage reports and alerts at critical consumption levels (50%, 90%, and 100%), empowering users to take proactive measures in controlling their energy usage. A synchronized mobile application enhances the user experience by delivering real-time data updates, historical usage analytics, bill details, and personalized recommendations based on previous consumption patterns. By integrating with existing smart home devices, the system fosters a smarter, more energy-efficient home environment. Additionally, the application raises awareness of the environmental impact of energy consumption and promotes sustainable practices. The goal of this research study is to connect various energy information sources, encouraging users to adopt energy-saving products and behaviors, ultimately leading to more efficient and environmentally friendly energy management.

This paper presents an efficient Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach for discriminating the internal faults from the non-internal faults in a transformer. The wavelet transform is a powerful tool for analyzing transient conditions because of its ability to extract information both in time and frequency domain simultaneously. Simulation of the differential protection scheme of a transformer to obtain various operating conditions is done using MATLAB/SIMULINK taking 1 cycle of data window (20 msec.). Different operating conditions such as normal, internal fault, external fault, switching inrush, and over fluxing are analyzed and processed to obtain certain statistical parameters of wavelet coefficients at the different decomposition levels. Authors have used arduino uno ATmega328P platform for hardware implementation of ANN architecture. Results indicate that overall classification accuracy is found to be 95.63 %.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a transformative technology that has revolutionized the field of healthcare. One of the most promising applications of Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare is patient health monitoring, which allows healthcare providers to remotely monitor patients' health and provide prompt medical attention when needed. This research work focuses on developing an Internet of Things (IoT)-based patient health monitoring system aimed at providing a solution for patients, particularly the elderly, who face the risk of unexpected death due to the lack of medical attention. The proposed system utilizes a heartbeat sensor and an Infrared IR temperature sensor connected to arduino uno and Nodemcu, respectively, to monitor the patient's vital signs. The sensors collect the data, which is then sent to an Internet of Things (IoT) web platform via a Wi-Fi connection. The Internet of Things (IoT) platform displays the real-time data of the patient's health status, including the temperature and heartbeat rate, which can be monitored by doctors and nurses. The system is designed to send alerts to healthcare providers in the event of any medical emergency, ensuring that prompt medical attention can be provided to the patient. The significance of this research work lies in its potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry by providing a more efficient and effective means of patient health monitoring. The system can be used to monitor a large number of patients simultaneously, which is particularly beneficial in hospitals with a large patient load. Moreover, it can reduce the workload of healthcare providers, allowing them to focus on other critical tasks. This innovative system has the potential to improve the overall quality of healthcare services and lead to better health outcomes for the society.

In Indonesian, Horticulture is one part of agriculture that is very important for the survival of the Indonesian people. Crops are useful to meet people’s food needs. The cultivation of agriculture crop very dependent on climate, weather and external factors. The optimal environment will provide optimal plant growth results, so people must really pay attention to the condition of these crops. To maintain plant growth so that crops can grow well, it is necessary to monitor the crops. To find out how plant growth, which needed a system to monitor plant growth. This paper will discuss about the implementation of a plant growth monitoring system. This system will check the climate, weather, and external factors like air, soil, light, and others, which will affect the crops. Internet of Things (IoT) assumes a significant job in a large portion of the fields. The utilization of IoT expanded in view of the different preferences we can get from that. The horticulture is where a great deal of progress is required because that is one of the fundamental needs and a huge area of individuals is associated with that. All this information is sent by arduino uno dev boards to the Ubidots IoT (Internet of Things) cloud platform. Data in Ubidots will be sent to the user’s smartphone.

Internet of Things (IoT) plays a pivotal part in our mundane daily life by controlling electronic devices using networks. The controlling is done by minutely observing the important parameters which generate vital pieces of information concerning the functioning of these electronic devices. Simultaneously, this information will transmit these vital statistics from the transmitting device as well as save the same on the cloud to access by the applications and supplementary procedures to use them. This scrutiny associates the outcomes of the environmental observances like the humidity and temperature measurements using sensors. The gathered information could be profitably used to produce actions like distantly dominant cooling, heating devices, or long term statistics, which will be useful to control the same. The detected data are uploaded to the cloud storage through network and associate using android application. The system employs arduino uno with Raspberry Pi, HTU 211D sensor device, and an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. The experimental results show the live temperature and humidity of the surroundings and the soil moisture of any plant using arduino uno with Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi is mainly used here for checking the temperature and humidity through the HTU 211D sensor element. The sensors are used for measuring the temperatures from the surroundings, storing displayed information with different devices. Here, the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module has been used for data storing purpose.

Automatic Water Tank Filling System Controlled Using arduino TM Based Sensor for Home Application

Water supply is the most important thing in daily home activity especially for washing, cleaning, and taking a bath. The Indonesian villagers commonly supply the water by pumping the groundwater to fill a water tank. However, the utilization of non-automated switch used to turn on and turn off a pumping machine sometimes causes either the water spills or a wasteful electrical consumption. The previous works reported the utilizations of arduino TM based sensors for plant watering system, water tank overflow control, and automated irrigation system. In this work, an automated water tank filling system will be proposed. The system is designed by applying an ultrasonic sensor, an automatic switch module, a water-flow sensor, an arduino TM microcontroller, and a pumping machine in order to automatically switch the water filling. By applying an ultrasonic sensor, an ultrasonic transmitter is mounted on the top of the tank and transmits an ultrasonic pulse down into the tank. This pulse which travels at the speed of sound will be reflected back to the transmitter from the liquid surface. The time delay measurement between transmitted and received signals enables the device to calculate the distance to the surface. The transmitter is programmed to automatically determine the liquid level and switch the pumping machine. The dynamics of water flow and liquid level during filling and draining the water tank will be reported. We hope to this system, people will enjoy supplying water without their worries related to water spills and a wasteful electrical consumption.

This paper presents the design and performance analysis of an efficient solar energy harvesting single axis sun tracking system employing dynamic offset parabolic mirrored reflector dish to increase the efficiency of solar energy harvesting system. The performance of proposed solar energy harvesting system has been analyzed by comparing the output of proposed system with static solar panel and solar panel with static mirrored reflector system. It has been observed that proposed system is capable of harvesting more energy than static solar panel system and solar panel with static offset mirrored parabolic dish. The parabolic mirrored reflector dish is capable of reflecting the light radiations and focusing the reflected light at its focal point where solar panel has been placed to harvest the light energy efficiently. The clocked tracking system has been used to rotate the dish in the direction of motion of sun. The arduino uno controller has been employed to rotate the dish by step angle of 6.25 degree at periodic interval of 30 minutes during daytime between 6 AM to 6 PM. The energy harvesting system is autonomously operating the motor driven dish by harnessing a portion of harvested solar energy which is stored in rechargeable lead acid battery. The proposed solar energy harvesting system is capable of generating average output voltage of 7.822 volts and 6.144 mA. The proposed system is 81 percent more efficient than static solar panel system and 48.26 percent more efficient than solar panel with static reflector system. The proposed energy harvesting system can be efficiently employed for various applications like water heating, etc.

This paper aims to put in evidence the functional principle of a solar tracker in an easy to understand manner for students. It will start from presenting the concept of green energy, the principle of how a photovoltaic cell is made, how to increase the efficiency of a solar panel by orientation after its movement and what algorithms can be used in order to increase the overall efficiency. It will also study the implementation of a practical solution using a solar panel on two freedom axes with two servomotors and four photoresistors which are controlled by an arduino uno unit so the direct exposure time of the panel in the Sun can be increased.
