Aurdion is a next generation robot that revolutionizes the way we use and interact with robots and machines. It possesses a spherical structure, which reduces the area of contact of the robot and the ground, in turn reducing the static friction coefficient. Thus, it makes mobility much faster and more energy efficient than a regular robot. It consists of a robotic structure enclosed by a spherical shell. The movement of the robot comes with the rotation of the spherical shell. The head is made to levitate above the spherical body. The head stays on top of the ball irrespective to the movement of the spherical ball. A magnetic mechanism is used to ensure that the head is always on the top. The movement of the spherical robot can be controlled from our mobile phones. The robot can travel across a large number of terrains, breaking the restrictions of robots in general.

IoT based Smart shoe system for the blind is a system made with the help of ultrasonic sensors paired to an arduino uno board. Internet of things is all about making physical objects communicate with other objects or even with humans. It is an enabling technology which has a rapid development and growth in the market. In our India there are almost 40 million blind people among which 1.6 million are children. Blind people face great difficulty to travel independently. They have to depend on others in many aspects of their life. The Major problem is when they walk on the road. With a stick in hand they cannot detect every obstacle that comes in their way. The Smart shoe design provides a long-term solution for the blind to walk on roads independently. The smart shoe will help the Blind person to reach his destination independently. It is built using IoT Technology in which the shoe will be embedded with various sensors, Microcontroller and buzzers. The shoe warns the user by making noise with the buzzer when he/she walks in front of an obstacle. To improve the efficiency, Smart glasses are designed using IoT which is also embedded with sensors and helps in detecting the objects by covering a larger area. The smart shoe and the smart glasses communicate and coordinate with each other to ensure that the user does not collide with any obstacle in his way.

Weather is the state of atmosphere at a particular time and place with regard to temperature, moisture, air pressure, precipitation etc. Bio organisms need to adapt with the changing atmospheric conditions. It is therefore important to know the atmospheric condition for different applications. The interest is to design an autonomous small cube satellite which can provide the information of weather from anywhere without using Network. Here a hardware model has been designed and implemented. It is possible to provide instant weather report which can be used to compare the data of a place with some different altitude as well as for different time instant. In meteorology, the main objective is to know accurate weather conditions with less human efforts, reliable and efficient data. As the weather varies from place to place and with the altitude, it is difficult to get accurate weather for a particular location. With the advancement of technology, specially embedded system & data acquisition systems, the problem of large set up area and cost has been reduced significantly. Cube–Sat can be set up at home as well as in atmosphere or in space which can provide accurate weather report.

The common problem with the existing embroidery machine is to identify the pattern of embroidery for the garment and to stitch using manpower. The large demand for embroidery layout in garment industry is not accomplished using manual stitching methods. Our proposed model proposes a smart embroidery machine which includes a G-Code controller for pattern generation and the pattern conversion to angular movements in motor is achieved by arduino uno microcontroller. A two dimensional adjustment in X-Y direction is utilized for needle movement and garment layer is obtained with respect to G-Code. The compact design provides flexibility for embroider to access large production of design patterns with reduced time and manpower.

Nearly 3700 people every day die on the world’s roads in collisions with trucks, cars, buses, motorcycles, bicycles, or *** cause of accidents is drowsiness, drunk driving, breaking the speed limit, Driver health issue and rash driving. The most concept of this venture is to avoid the street mishap so we are utilizing liquor location sensor, eye flicker sensor, over speed control sensor, temperature sensor, beat sensor. To detect drowsiness, speed of the vehicle, driver’s health, alcohol consumed by the driver, and rash driving status the model is installed with sensors in steering wheel and camera. The sensors will detect the physical condition of the driver and the camera module will take the live recording of the driver’s face part to detect the drowsiness. Simple but effective strategies are used to improve the baseline detection/tracking algorithm and the eye-state classification algorithm, and the results are tabulated to increase the system’s dependability and accuracy. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Poultry is one of the most important growing economic segments of agricultural sector in India today. Nowadays because of standardized farming management and good manufacturing practices, chicken production in the world has been increasing gradually. In contemporary world automation plays a vital role and concept of Internet of Things (IOT) is also emerging very fast, there is an approach to convert traditional systems into automated systems. The paper focuses on automation of poultry farm using IoT technology to perform various management related things. The environmental factors which affect the health of chicken such as temperature, humidity, light and Ammonia gas are monitored and the manual jobs like food feeding, water supply system, cleanliness are managed. If all these parameters are maintained, the production and quality of chicken increases. Along with this, electricity is generated from the methane gas which is produced from the chicken manure and stored in battery. The management and monitoring of the farm can also be done through a web based system. Which keeps track of the management of poultry farm from anywhere and at any time.

Home automation or known as smart home is a home which is equipped by a system for controlling and integrating electronic devices, such as lighting, home theather, CCTV (closed-circuit television), HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), motion sensor, security lock sensor for gates or doors, and etc. Its main purpose is to provide the improved simplicity, energy efficiency, higher security, and better feelings at home for the user benefits. Smart phone could be integrated as part of ring tone sensor for security door lock automation system. Therefore in this work, locking automation system using smart phone polyphonic tone sensor has been designed and implemented. A simple unlocking mechanism is explained as follows. The DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) module which has simply been programmed with arduino was used to receive the polyphonic tone signal which is embedded in smart phone system. Then that signal will be processed by arduino uno, so the solenoid will automatically unlock the door. But, after three seconds delay, it will lock again (protection system). However, this system still has some drawbacks, such as low security system, short working-range of sensitivity, and limited amount of password digits. Moreover, those limitations could be improved/solved in the near future.

Due to the growing number of people suffering from stroke or facial nerve damage which influence the quality of life, we propose an acquisition system that identify and classify facial expression by manual analysis of signals using an EMG. Beside these features, the designed system is able to save the records in a database so that these kinds of medical conditions can be seen when they first appeared and how they manifested along the way. The acquisition system has an interface created in MATLAB App Design, which facilitates the experience of signal acquisition and database creation. The signal acquisition occurred during the visual or auditory stimulation of four reactions, by means of videos made for this purpose. The extracted signals were manually segmented and analyzed. For that acquisition system, a cover was designed, and 3D printed, which has both a protective role and an aesthetic role. Although the paper investigates only a few facial expressions, it can be extended in the future to recognize emotions and even to make correlations between different facial expression and other medical conditions recorded in the database.

By designing and implementing an autonomous robot capable of detecting and extinguishing flames, disasters can be avoided with minimal risk to human life. In this research, we illustrate an autonomous robot capable of detecting flames indoors and maneuvering towards the flame to extinguish it with the help of carbon dioxide.

This paper introduces a low-cost android application (app) controlled smart home system that can remotely switch on/off as many as 208 appliances using only 4 digital pins of an ATmega328 microcontroller based arduino uno board. The appliance switching system requires approximately 70% less wiring cost for real life installation in home compared to the similar conventional systems. Moreover, the smart home system includes: (1) automatic night light that only lights up at night if it detects any human in the close proximity;(2) 'Outside Mode' that turns off every single appliance connected to the system with a touch from android app when user leaves the home;(3) a smart security system that sounds an alarm, sends message and makes call to the user using GSM module if it detects any intrusion in the house. The android application provides a user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) to send command to the microcontroller via Bluetooth. Compared to the products available in market, cost of the proposed system is cheaper to a great extent.
