This project is created to fulfil only one purpose that is to create an authentication system based on biometrics, the most common type of biometrics is fingerprint. It is designed to reduce and prevent the theft of two wheelers. This also provides the user a keyless interface increasing its accessibility. The ignition system is replaced with fingerprint start system. The fingerprints are identified and stored in templates of binary codes which are acquired on the basis of special features of fingerprint. The project consists of the AVR microcontroller arduino uno r3, the fingerprint module R307, and the GSM Module sim800L. The fingerprint Module R307 can store up to 127 fingerprints. once the fingerprints are stored the r307 interacts with the arduino and process that information if the fingerprint matches with the user, then the arduino controller sends signal to relay module to start the ignition system. f the fingerprint does not matches the arduino sends a message to the user as "someone has tried to access your bike" via GSM module. The proposed model mimics the self-start of bike with a DC motor. Additionally, access to the two-wheeler is available via a keypad, which has a four-digit password, allowing users' family or relatives to access the model other than the user.

Social isolation and home quarantining have been standard procedures around the world, since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) sickness pandemic. Due to the spread of the COVID-19 disease, patients' remote monitoring becomes even more important in this situation. There are two reasons for this: (i) They must be kept alive and their symptoms under control;(ii) they must not leave the quarantined region throughout the quarantine time. This work presents a low-cost method for sensing patients' the physiological characteristics and displaying them on an Android-based mobile application. The arduino uno, a DHT11 Humidity Temperature Sensor sensor device, and HC-05 Bluetooth module were carried out to make up the system. A sensor was included in the system to capture the physiological health parameters of patients automatically. As a result, the patients can be remotely observed using the suggested method from a safe distance, avoiding direct contact and adhering to social distancing procedures. It was developed using free available online platform for developing mobile application is MIT inventor-2. Thus, even at the most difficult stage of the COVID-19 epidemic, increased health and a comfortable lifestyle can be accomplished.

Internet of Things (IoT) has given an opportunity to build powerful laboratory environment using wireless technology, LAN technology and sensor devices. This works aims to establish a basic prototype design of a simple and expandable IoT to be used in an intelligent laboratory. The reading of various sensors from multiple labs is directly uploaded to the server storage on cloud from where other collaborating laboratories can read, analyze, and store the data either by humans or machines. The fundamental aspect of proposed work is to provide necessary infrastructure to enable the data collection and dissemination to all stakeholders.

This paper presents the design of pulse oximetry to measure oxygen in blood saturation (SpO(2)) using an arduino uno module. The SpO(2) measurement was conducted by acquiring the signal photoplethysmography (PPG) at the fingertip using a DS-100A probe consisting of an infrared (960 nm) and a red (640 nm) light sources, and also a photodiode. The signal of the photodiode is amplified and filtered with three frequency poles, i.e., 0.5 Hz, 1 Hz and 1.6 Hz. The result of the filtering shows that the PPG signal at the fingertip gives stable maximum and minimum values of 1.1697 volts and 1.1557 volts for red and 3.3946 volts and 3.3092 volts for infrared rays. From these results, the AC/DC voltage can be calculated for red and infrared lights resulting 98.26% SpO(2) level, which states normal conditions. The maximum AC/DC voltage value occurs at the little finger and the minimum value occurs at the thumb finger. SpO(2) signal was compared to the JZK-301 calibrator and shows the percentage error results (epsilon) less than 1% on each finger.

We applied machine learning to detect changes in state of key registers in digital devices from their analog RF emissions. As digital devices operate, they emit information via analog side channels. We collected the RF side channel with a 500-MHz shielded loop probe from Riscure, placed in the nearfield (< 1mm) of the device under test (DuT). We investigated a number of Internet-of-Thing (IoT) DuTs including arduino uno and PIC24 processors. Conventional processors implement instructions as a sequence of subtasks. The first subtasks include incrementing the program counter (PC) register and fetching the next instruction from program memory to the instruction register (IR). These two subtasks occur almost every instruction cycle. We ran programs on the DuT and collected the RF emissions. We parsed the object code of the programs to determine the state of key registers including the PC and IR during each instruction cycle and observed that the RF signal of each cycle is strongly correlated with the Hamming Distance (HD) (i.e., the number of bits changing) in the PC and IR registers. Based on this result, we developed classifiers to extract the HD of the PC, IR, as well as the stack pointer (SP). The classification results vary with true HD as some values are rare and have few examples in the training set. The classification accuracy exceeds 99% for the PC and the IR. Due to the relatively few HD in the training set for the SP, its results slightly exceeded 97%.

A fully autonomous home is going to be the future. Everyone want that the complete control such as switching on/off the lights, fans, televisions and other appliances through one device. This paper presents a novel solution that makes this future a bit nearer. Voice controlled automation, as well as a universal remote control application on an Android platform, has been presented. The efficient utilization of various available apps on Google play store has been done. Using the Bluetooth module HC-05, arduino uno, and Android application, voice controlled automation, as well as the universal switch, has been realized.

This work describes the design and implementation of a Air Quality Meter and Air Pollution Detector. The technology adopted is a practical implementation of the concept of Internet of Things. This project is an exploration of the possibilities of use of this technology in a rapidly changing world where environmental health is becoming a serious threat. Using the Bluetooth communication technology and microcontroller board of arduino, the work is implemented. A few sensors are also used such as temperature and humidity sensors and a few gas sensors to monitor changes.

This paper reports a neural network (NN) implementation of function approximation. Function approximation (aka, nonlinear regression) identifies input-output relationship from given input-output data set. Concept of function approximation is applied to develop a smart position sensor. Smart position sensor consists of three standard sensors that are coupled with a neural network to produce an estimate of the location of an object in one dimension. MATLAB is used to construct and train the multi layer feed forward neural network. Hardware implementation of trained neural network is done on arduino uno microcontroller board.

Health monitoring system offers a lot of benefits to people life especially for those who have chronic disease and need daily observation. This health monitoring system will improve quality of life. Information technology (IT) and wireless communication system has the potential to improve safety, quality and efficiency of health care. By this improvement of the technology, doctors and patients can easily access and use health information as needed. In this research, health monitoring system, doctors and patients can use it in order to monitor and check their condition via mobile phone. The patients can be alerted if they are required to do the treatment or not. Arduiono uno and GSM together with temperature and pulse rate sensors are used for this research. Our results is correct since, the number of older people becomes larger for abnormal patient's condition.

One of the most crucial pillars of disaster management is rescue operations. In such a location, the tasks involved in rescue operations or monitoring are extremely risky. So, human involvement for such activities is always dangerous. Because the robot can be operated via cross platform applications (Android, Web, and others) as it is designed using flutter, our proposed model will be used to solve the following problem by eliminating human interference for surveillance and rescue operations. The robot is equipped with a robotic arm to perform the evacuation process. It could manoeuvre along six axes, amplifying the productivity during a natural disaster;6-Wheeled model is chosen because it can move on rough terrains. The advantage of this robot is that it could be operated from anywhere around the world, using the cloud service. A camera module for adequate surveillance and sensors for continual updates on the surrounding environment are also included in the robot's design. The user can add or remove the sensors as per the need and monitors' the same sensor readings from the mobile app directly. Using Flutter, a user-friendly android app is created to control the Robot's movement and get the get the sensor data to monitor the surrounding environment. The robot is built using arduino uno and Raspberry Pi and L239D motor driver to control the geared motors. We have used 3-D printed robotic arm as they will be highly serviceable in the times of disaster and reduce the exposure of physical labour in the affected and dangerous areas.
