The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a transformative technology that has revolutionized the field of healthcare. One of the most promising applications of Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare is patient health monitoring, which allows healthcare providers to remotely monitor patients' health and provide prompt medical attention when needed. This research work focuses on developing an Internet of Things (IoT)-based patient health monitoring system aimed at providing a solution for patients, particularly the elderly, who face the risk of unexpected death due to the lack of medical attention. The proposed system utilizes a heartbeat sensor and an Infrared IR temperature sensor connected to arduino uno and Nodemcu, respectively, to monitor the patient's vital signs. The sensors collect the data, which is then sent to an Internet of Things (IoT) web platform via a Wi-Fi connection. The Internet of Things (IoT) platform displays the real-time data of the patient's health status, including the temperature and heartbeat rate, which can be monitored by doctors and nurses. The system is designed to send alerts to healthcare providers in the event of any medical emergency, ensuring that prompt medical attention can be provided to the patient. The significance of this research work lies in its potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry by providing a more efficient and effective means of patient health monitoring. The system can be used to monitor a large number of patients simultaneously, which is particularly beneficial in hospitals with a large patient load. Moreover, it can reduce the workload of healthcare providers, allowing them to focus on other critical tasks. This innovative system has the potential to improve the overall quality of healthcare services and lead to better health outcomes for the society.

A prototype campus bus tacking system is designed and implemented for helping UiTM Student to pinpoint the location and estimate arrival time of their respective desired bus via their smartphone application. This project comprises integration between hardware and software. An arduino uno is used to control the GPS module to get the geographic coordinates. An android smartphone application using App Inventor is also developed for the user not only to determine the time for the campus bus to arrive and also will be able to get the bus information. This friendly user system is named as "UiTM Bus Checker" application. The user also will be able to view position of the bus on a digital mapping from Google Maps using their smartphone application and webpage. In order to show the effectiveness of this UiTM campus bus tracking system, the practical implementations have been presented and recorded.

The general idea is to measure the heat increase of a liquid due to a quantity of electrical energy, by heating a mass of cold water with a heating resistor carrying an electric current. We used a platform based on arduino and a DS18B20 temperature sensor to automatically collect temperature data, and the Data Streamer add-in to display them in real time on the computer. The system presented has the potential to teach several experiments in thermodynamics thanks to its reliability in measurements, low cost and a good level of accuracy. It is therefore an innovative, modern and affordable teaching tool that offers students the possibility to reduce the duration of the experiment much more than the traditional method.

A 5 Degree of Freedom (DOF) robotic arm has been developed It is controlled by an arduino Eno microcontroller which accepts input signals from a user by means of a set of potentiometers. The arm is made up of four rotary joints and an end effector, where rotary motion is provided by a servomotor. Each link has been first designed using Solid works Sheet Metal Working Toolbox and then fabricated using a 2mm thick Aluminium sheet. The servo-motors and links thus produced assembled with fasteners produced the final shape of the arm. The arduino has been programmed to provide rotation to each servo motor corresponding to the amount of rotation of the potentiometer shaft.

This paper proposes a low-cost platform for realtime monitoring PV panel operation. The data acquisition is performed using inexpensive hardware. The real-time data measurements (current and voltage values) are continuously acquired using an arduino uno embedded board and a PmodISNS20 current sensor and are transmitted to a PC via USB connection. The monitoring software (HMI) was developed using LabVIEW virtual instrumentation tools. The measured values are displayed on the front panel of LabVIEW application numerically (through text indicators) as well as graphically (the current PV panel operating point is plotted on the I-V and P-V characteristics). The data are also recorded via ODBC connection on a MS Access database, making it possible to analyze and use historical data. This is useful when it comes to developing an MPPT control system. The data is viewed remotely using a windows form application.

In Indonesian, Horticulture is one part of agriculture that is very important for the survival of the Indonesian people. Crops are useful to meet people's food needs. The cultivation of agriculture crop very dependent on climate, weather and external factors. The optimal environment will provide optimal plant growth results, so people must really pay attention to the condition of these crops. To maintain plant growth so that crops can grow well, it is necessary to monitor the crops. To find out how plant growth, which needed a system to monitor plant growth. This paper will discuss about the implementation of a plant growth monitoring system. This system will check the climate, weather, and external factors like air, soil, light, and others, which will affect the crops. Internet of Things (IoT) assumes a significant job in a large portion of the fields. The utilization of IoT expanded in view of the different preferences we can get from that. The horticulture is where a great deal of progress is required because that is one of the fundamental needs and a huge area of individuals is associated with that. All this information is sent by arduino uno dev boards to the Ubidots IoT (Internet of Things) cloud platform. Data in Ubidots will be sent to the user's smartphone. (C) 2021 The Authors. This paper shows non-contact water level monitoring system implemented using LabVIEW and arduino. Water depth of the tank is measured by Ultrasonic sensor. Hence the water level present in the tank is known. Depending on the sensor reading LabVIEW program sends the data to arduino and through arduino board the pump is switched ON if the water level in the upper tank is low and pump is switched OFF if the water level is completely filled in the upper tank. The input to arduino board is from ultrasonic sensor. arduino read the height and reports the water depth of the tank and the same is displayed in LabVIEW front panel. Advantage of this over other existing automatic system is it provides non-contact water level measurement using ultrasonic sensor, but existing automatic system using ss(stainless steel) sensor which is a contact type water level sensor and also these sensors quickly corroded by some chemicals. The same is present in LabVIEW using the graphical user interface for visualization, LabVIEW communicate with add on devices like arduino, ultrasonic sensor, pump through makerhub.

This paper presents an air quality monitoring system using Matlab. For all living things, the air is the foremost important aspect. Measuring air quality is vital in raising awareness about the importance of caring for future generations and living a healthier lifestyle. When people with health problems such as lung disease, nonfatal heart attacks, irregular heartbeat, and worsened asthma breathe in the bad air quality, it will affect more in their health. People have difficulty detecting poor air quality since they only perceive it after inhaling it. Carbon monoxide poisoning from fireplaces and cooking stoves can cause weariness, decreased vision, and chest pain. This paper aims to study the real-time communication between arduino uno and Matlab and analyze the air quality at a specific place. The main component used are arduino uno, MQ7 carbon monoxide sensor, and MQ135 air quality sensor. An additional buzzer and LED are attached to the system to alert the user if the air quality is at a harmful level. Overall, the results displayed by arduino are almost similar to those indicated in Matlab.

Everyone is entitled to live the way they want and to feel happy, but there is a lot of verbal abuse and aggression that people face which is a huge challenge to everyone. It is a general urge to tell our close ones about our current position in emergencies and warn them about the fact that we expect danger. In the event of sudden abduction or sudden illness in an uncertain place, we can feel powerless. A way is therefore built to save lives from possible dangerous circumstances in which a person is at risk of being abducted, robbed, or raped. In the model, two voice inputs are detected-"Danger" and "Help" and also a switch button input is taken. As the voice recognition model is trained that way, the device can only recognize the user's voice. It sends the text to the police and parents for the "Danger" word input or push-button input. It also sends the location to the parents for the "Help" word. On the other hand, when the pulse rate is not within a certain range, the hospital and relatives are informed. The trained words, mobile numbers, BPM range used can be modified according to the user's preference. The model is designed to send SMS containing latitude and longitude which can be used to find the exact position on Google Maps. Using our model, individuals can make their lives free of fear as it will serve as a supporting hand in crisis situations.

In the paper, the background radiation monitoring system has been developed. It has been built on the arduino uno microcontroller board, Geiger-Mueller counters, alphanumeric LCD module and high-voltage power supply module for counters. The system measures power of the equivalent radiation dose and accumulated dose and outputs the information via the serial port to PC, and also sends warning signals when the equivalent dose rate is exceeded.
