Fishermen's livelihoods are so insecure that if they cross the country's border accidently, it is treated as a serious offence. The severity of the situation seems to worsen when impoverished fisherman are shot and their boats are taken. The fundamental cause of this problem is that marine borders between countries are difficult to identify. The term "maritime border alert system" refers to a system that assists fishermen by informing them of the country's border while protecting them and their boats. Technology such as global navigation satellite system, universal mobile telecommunications network and ultrasonic sensors are used to achieve this purpose. The proposed framework includes a low-cost maritime boundary crossing warning system for fishermen.

This paper presents the design, simulation, optimization and implementation of a Fractal antenna, genetic algorithm (GA) was chosen for fractal antenna optimization. The fractal antenna considered here was fed by a 1.59 mm diameter coaxial cable, the location of feeding was varied by genetic algorithm (GA). The length and number of sides of the fractal antenna were also changed using the genetic algorithm (GA). Finding a set of settings that would enhance the antenna's performance was the optimization's goal. The parameters considered were return loss (reflection coefficient S11) and the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR).The GA yielded a design with return loss (S11) of − 27.37 dB and VSWR of 1.11 at 2.4 GHz. The entire antenna dimensions will be approximately (5 cm × 5 cm). The substrate used is FR4 (flame retardant) epoxy. There was strong agreement between the measurements from the antenna’s (fabrication) manufacturing and simulation for the operational frequencies and desirable performance in gain, bandwidth and VSWR (voltage standing wave ratio) parameters. The VSWR achieved values was lower than 1.4 for the frequencies used. Additionally, the simulations portray a broad radiation pattern and shows good gain and directivity. The antenna which was fabricated was tested using Anechoic Chamber and network analyser. The antenna which is tested in anechoic chamber was used in wearable health care application due to its small size. At the transmitter side we used temperature and pulse reading sensors to collect physiological information like body temperature and heart rate from the patient, these sensors were connected to arduino microcontroller then to transmit these physiological information, NRF24L01 trans receiver module along with our fabricated 15th generation GA optimised Fractal antenna was used, which is connected to arduino microcontroller. The world's rising death toll from traffic accidents can be considerably decreased if contemporary technology is integrated into cars to monitor the driver's condition at regular intervals while the vehicle is in motion and take automatic preventative measures. Under peculiar circumstances, creating and implementing an intelligent safety system for a vehicle is the aim of this project. In India, majority of the accidents are happening due to foot board travel in buses. Footboard accidents are more common among office workers, college students and school children. Travelling in unsafe condition in bus foot board can lead to such a worst condition. An innovative vehicle module equipped with sensors and an alarm system is designed to address the challenges. An autonomous accident prevention device called the "Smart Footboard Accident Prevention" device helps to prevent accidents caused by passengers misusing the footboard on buses. This study aims at saving human life by detecting the presence of a person on the stairs of the bus using piezoelectric sensors. The current technology prevents the bus from accelerating when a passenger is on the footboard while the vehicle is stationary, ensuring the safety of the passengers during the boarding and arrival process. The proposed system's hardware uses less electricity and takes up a smaller space. Many people lose their lives in bus accidents each year as a result of footboard travel. Tragedies might occur due to the carelessness of the driver or the passenger. Therefore, the development of intelligent bus systems ensures the safety of its passengers.

The misplacement of books in libraries often results in wasted time when searching for a specific book on the wrong shelf. To address this issue, we created a novel, low-cost prototype Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) equipped with a camera and Wi-Fi modules. The UGV wirelessly sends data to a local server, which uses image processing to determine the location of the book. A web user interface was created to enable users to easily locate the exact shelf of the desired book. This solution has not been previously explored and was tested in our Institute's library. The adoption of UGVs greatly improved the overall user experience, transforming the manual and time-consuming process of book-finding into an automated and time-saving operation.
