In this paper, we present a new scheme for the secured transmission of discrete information based on hyperchaotic discrete dynamics. The system is a modified-Henon hyperchaotic discrete-time oscillator considered as transmitter and a delayed step-by-step observer used as receiver. The transmitter parameters play the role of secret keys of the transmission scheme. To increase the robustness of the secure data transmission against known plain-text attacks, the message to be sent is encrypted by additional secret keys and inserted by inclusion method in the chaotic discrete-time system dynamics. By this way, the parameters used as secret keys cannot be identified with usual techniques. Simulation results are presented to highlight the performances of the proposed method. One of the main contributions of this paper is to demonstrate the feasibility of discrete realization of a chaotic observer-based secured transmission scheme. Indeed, experimental implementation results using arduino uno board validate the proposed approach, since it exhibits good performances of throughput and cost in terms of resources used.

Electrical energy plays an important role in today's world, so there is a need to save electricity in addition to its generation using several sources. The proposed intelligent street light system incorporates light-dependent sensors and ultrasonic sensors to intelligently control street lights based on environmental conditions. The system aims to enhance energy efficiency, reduce operational costs and improve safety for pedestrians and motorists. It will use a distributed sensing network with interconnected smart sensors, allowing real-time data exchange and analysis. A central control unit will process the sensor data and activate/deactivate street lights accordingly. The system's benefits include energy conservation, cost reduction, improved safety and scalability. However, successful implementation requires a robust communication infrastructure, accurate and reliable sensors, an adaptive control algorithm, cost considerations, privacy and security measures.

In photovoltaic (PV) systems, the conversion of solar energy into electrical energy by the PV module is influenced by various factors, including sunlight intensity and temperature. To achieve optimal performance, it is crucial to accurately track the maximum power point (MPP) of the PV module. Among the numerous MPP tracking (MPPT) techniques that have been developed, the perturbation and observation (PO) method has gained significant attention due to its simplicity and reliability. However, the fixed perturbation step size used in the traditional PO algorithm can result in poor tracking capability, excessive ripple, and drift, leading to high power loss and low tracking efficiency. To address these limitations, this paper proposes an improved version of the PO strategy that introduces an adaptable step-magnitude mechanism, utilizing current perturbation instead of the voltage perturbation typically employed in the classical PO method. This enhanced indirect PO approach maintains low complexity and can be easily implemented on a cost-effective arduino uno board. A streamlined C++ code integrates the improved PO MPPT strategy with a Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller, eliminating the need for separate PID blocks and further reducing system complexity. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed technique, comparative analyses are conducted against the traditional PO algorithm, particle swarm optimization (PSO), fuzzy logic control (FLC), and a recently introduced approach, the zone voltage (ZV) method. Simulation results using Proteus software demonstrate that the improved PO approach outperforms the other techniques in various aspects, including achieving the highest static and dynamic tracking efficiencies of 99.38% and 99.88%, respectively, negligible power loss and fluctuations, the fastest convergence speed, and the shortest tracking time of 0.19 seconds. © 2024 The Author(s)

Thermistors are widely used as temperature transducers due to their low cost, small dimensions, and high sensitivity. However, their nonlinear resistance-temperature characteristics make their use in temperature measurement and control applications challenging. This paper presents a new method to linearize thermistors using an op-amp-based astable multivibrator and an artificial neural network. The proposed technique involves obtaining frequency values corresponding to the resistance values of the thermistor using an op-amp-based astable multivibrator circuit. The nonlinear frequency data obtained can then be used to train an ANN to obtain the best-fit linear curve. A signal conditioning circuit is then constructed that takes the read frequency value and matches it to its corresponding linearized value, which is displayed. The method offers several advantages over traditional techniques, including improved accuracy and reduced cost. Additionally, it can improve the accuracy of measuring temperature, and control applications by eliminating the nonlinearities associated with thermistors. © 2023 IEEE.

Optical fiber communication was widely believed that an optical network was a good way to prevent hacking through wiretaps which intercept network data. However, fiber optic cable is not particularly secure. Various tapping methods can be used to extract data from fiber optic networks with little or no risk of detection. One of the easiest ways of intruding into a fiber optic communication link is creating a bend on the fiber cable. Even small percentage of the transmitted light acquired with the bending method is enough for recovering the data by the attacker. Though there are some techniques and devices that can track the power and intensity inside the fiber cable, these methods cannot detect an attack exploiting small leakage. Therefore, it is critical to determine a range of radii of curvature for which tapping attacks are not detectable. Though there are some studies to quantify the power loss both theoretically and numerically, as of the authors' knowledge, there has not been any experimental validation of those studies. In this respect, an experimental optical setup and a technique relying on the ADC conversion capability of arduino uno to measure power loss resulting from different bending radii are proposed in this paper. A lower limit for radius of curvature for an attack to be undetected is obtained and the estimations in the literature for power loss resulting from fiber bending is validated.

The present work represents the use of thermal based IR sensor camera with arduino technology. Temperatures generated due to micro contacts during dry sliding wear conditions in different conditions are of higher importance in analyzing the surface failure. The adhesive strength, specific wear rate and temperature field analysis on the surface of the nano composite coating are studied for two different coating thickness samples. The nano α-Al₂O₃ particles of 40 nm size are used as secondary phase particles in the Ni matrix coating. The scratch test was carried out to study the adhesive strength of the coating and pin-on-disc for wear studies. An integrated circuit with AMG8833 sensor with arduino uno board is used for the measurement of the temperature and heat map on the surface. The coating is carried out by electro co-deposition technique. The microstructure and composition analysis are carried out by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray analysis. The results show the uniform distribution of the coating particles on the Al6061 substrate with good adhesive strength for the both the coatings. The specific wear results indicate resistance improved by 43.16 % for the 226.32 μm coating. The highest temperature of the debris was found to be 72.6 °C. © 2025 The Authors

A Design of Remote-Controlled Chalkboard Eraser

Chalkboard erasers that are commonly used in many schools and education organizations have the poor ability in removing the dust off the chalkboard and collect them. The dust that is not collected will be taken into human bodies via inhalation, which will lead to respiratory diseases. Therefore, it is crucial to design a chalkboard eraser that can collect the dust effectively. If the eraser can be controlled both remotely and manually by people, it can further reduce the amount of dust taken in by human bodies. To achieve remote control, a micro-controller is needed to transfer the infrared radiation (IR) into signals that can control electric motors to move around on the chalkboard. Furthermore, the microfiber is also used as the cleaning material to improve the performance of dust cleaning and collecting. A vacuum pump is needed to create negative pressure between the eraser and the chalkboard so that the eraser can stick to it. The result shows a stronger ability in removing and collecting dust. With the help of the Arduino UNO board, the remote control is successfully achieved, and the eraser can move on the chalkboard freely according to the order.

With the ever-growing demand of electrical energy and alarming danger of continuously decreasing reserves of conventional fossil fuels, people all over the world are shifting toward the renewable energy resources. Solar being the primary source of energy for the planet is in focus for electrical energy production. This paper enables automatic load transfers between grid and solar generation. It senses the availability of sufficient supply from both sources and automatically switches load between them enabling uninterrupted supply to the load. This paper mainly consists of two major parts one is operational network consisting of solar panel, battery storage, inverter and load, while, the other is control mechanism consisting of arduino, relays, sensors and switches. The control mechanism senses the output of supply sources and manages the load to operate without any interruption even if the supply from grid is cut off. Thus, it mainly automates the load transfer mechanism between solar and grid minimizing the dependence on conventional energy.

Gesture-based language is a unique methodology for communication among conventional and hearing-impaired. Nevertheless, people see an issue in human activity with standard people who don't understand their signing. In this manner, they ceaselessly feel a barrier to remove this *** paper proposes a device that would convert hand signals of non-conventional persons into voice so that an individual can understand their gestures. The proposed device will help non-conventional people to represent their thoughts. Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms have been used for the betterment of the system. The proposed methodology consists of two sides: transmitter side and receiver side. The transmitter side is responsible for sending electrical signals wirelessly through arduino combined with Radio Frequency (RF) transmitter and flex sensors connected through wires. On the receiver side, Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM), RF receiver, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and arduino are used to receive the electrical signals and display the output on the *** proposed system allows the person to send or monitor the health condition of the user during their critical time and have made the communication process wireless. Also, the output through the system would surely help in transitioning day-day life decision making of non-conventional people.

Now a days, traffic congestion is the biggest problem facing city municipalities. There are larger portion of budget which are prepared to solve out this problem each and every year. There are many kind technologies which are introduced but still we are unable to finish such kind of problem. Smart traffic control approach can be a way to minimize this problem. In this system, we are going to use arduino uno board as comparator and weighting machines as input devices for comparison purpose. In this system we are going to check the traffic congestion of road by mean of weighting of the road. This system is going to be very useful for the remote areas where the traffic on any particular road is higher and on other one it is almost equal to zero. This would be easy in implementation and reliable in working.
