In the age of modern world all the nations are developing and in consistence with that more and more bridges are constructing in order to develop the transport system, communication, international relationship & economy of the country. Most of the country, specifically in Asian countries uses manual toll collection system. But this is a very lengthy process and because of that it creates a huge traffic jam. For a development country like Bangladesh traffic jam is a barrier for economic growth. So, this manual toll collection system is neither efficient nor cost effective. Considering the above situation, this paper proposed a tentative solution which is 'Smart Prepaid Toll Management System Using RFID'. This system is an automatic toll collection process where users don't need to pay the money manually. Contactless RFID card will be detected by the RFID reader to cut a specific amount of toll charge from the user account. In case of emergency situation, where user don't have sufficient amount in his/her account, can access to the emergency loan or in-booth recharge system to pass through the toll point. To implement the propose system, arduino mega will be used to control the servo motor, LCD display, RFID reader, Ultrasonic sensor and many more tools is going to be required. Thus, the article proves that, using the proposed electronic toll collection system will help to reduce the problems due to the traditional toll collection process thereby saving the valuable time due to long traffic jam. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents an application for monitoring power systems in a Melex type vehicle. The application is intended to optimise the energy use of the modified hybrid drive system used on this vehicle. It was written in Python programming language and is used to display vehicle operating parameters on a touch screen located on the control panel. A system for monitoring voltages and currents, of the electrical part of the drive train of a Melex vehicle, was designed and built, together with a data acquisition system. Tests were carried out on the basis of the completed measuring system, a selected section of which is presented in this paper. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V. For the user's convenience and comfort, the study offers a wireless body temperature monitoring device that is wearable and portable. Technotemp wrist a/c controller is considered to be the name of the system. When the user's body temperature falls within a temperature range, the device automatically changes the Air conditioning temperature. This study shows that the involvement of clothing insulation can have a greater impact on body temperature. Also, raising the intensity of an individual's activity level will further increase their body temperature over time. This study will determine the appropriate A/C thermostat with the body temperature by using the CBE (Center for the Built Environment) Thermal Comfort tool. It will calculate thermal comfort according to EN-16798 Standard, thermal comfort, Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) and Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied (PPD). Besides clothing insulation and metabolic rate (MET), the needed inputs with this tool are air velocity, relative humidity, mean radiant temperature, and air temperature. Among the 30 test subjects, it was found that the thermal comfort body temperature of the user ranges between 35.01-36.03 degrees C. For the system's accuracy and efficacy, it will be measured by using subjective and objective methods with a new set of 15 test subjects. For the subjective method, users will be asked every 3 minutes to assess their thermal environment in terms of thermal sensation. The objective method will be measured through their stress levels using the Huawei GT2e smartwatch. It was observed that these methods gained an accuracy of 96.67%. The system's effectiveness will be evaluated by comparing our proposed automatic controller setup with the traditional way controller. It was found that the automatic controller is faster to reach thermal comfort for about 37-37.2 minutes while 48.2-49 minutes for the traditional setup, having an effectiveness rate of 93.33%.

In the world package sorting machines are playing an essential role. Most of the machines are based on PLC or color sensor-based. In this paper, we have made a unique design of a package sorting machine that is based on bar code detection. The microcontroller we are using is arduino, and the conveyor design is based on a new conveyor method that will make the sorting speed faster and have perfect accuracy. This paper and design introduce the application of parcel box sorting, which saves the sorting time and reduces the cost. With the continuous improvement of the level of the manufacturing industry, to increase the efficiency output of production and distribution, a simple automatic sorting based on bar code detection is realized in mechanical design. The belt conveyor system is designed for low friction, fast sorting, and high precision. The main purpose of the system is to save production time and manufacturing labor costs. Discusses the project, size, capacity, speed, roller diameter, pulley, power, tension, control mode, and advanced conveyor mechanical design.

Automated Seeding and Irrigation System using arduino

Malaysia, has a very conducive environment for agriculture. Six percent of the population are employed to some of the agriculture activities making agriculture the most curtail industry in Malaysia. Hence, there is a need to develop the agricultural facilities by incorporating latest technological advancements. Conventional seeding process is time consuming and requires additional labor cost. In this paper, an automated system is proposed for seeding as well as irrigation process in agriculture which reduces the labor cost. This system aims to increase the efficiency of the seeding process without affecting the nature of soil. The proposed system is equipped with arduino mega and arduino UNO which acts as the main control unit while ultrasonic and soil moisture sensors are used to detect the obstacles and soil moisture level, respectively. The robot consists of a funnel like arrangement to perform the seeding procedure. The field is equipped with moisture sensors placed at different areas that monitors the moisture level of the soil on a regular interval for irrigation purposes. The proposed system will be of great benefit to the future endeavor of agricultural business as well as it will be able to optimize the seeding and irrigation. (C) 2021 The Authors. In this paper, we have proposed a low-cost position tracking system for track indoor game players using minimal infrastructures with cost effective electronic components. Various positioning systems were introduced in previous to track game players, but they have complication due to time synchronization. To overcome this problem the proposed positioning system is constructed by using Ultrasonic (US) and Radio frequency (RF). This system uses open-source platforms with good user-friendly interface software, so the system can be operated by a user without prior knowledge of it. The system has two segments, which are transmitting unit and receiver unit. The transmitting unit has one RF transmitter and one ultrasonic Transmitter. The receiver unit has one RF receiver and three ultrasonic receivers. In this system the arduino module used to control the components and calculate the position estimation. The proposed system is using the theory of time difference of arrival for range measuring. The performance limitation of the system was also analyzed experimentally, such as a single range and positional accuracy in 2D & 3D space. Based on the results of analysis, major changes and substitutes in the circuits will improve the accuracy and performance limitation of the system such as making the circuits with high quality ICs & ultrasonic transducers, implementation of high pass or band pass filters in receiver circuits and integrating the receiver circuits with voltage regulators.

A small boat for fish feeding

This study focuses on development of a solar-powered arduino mega-driven robotic boat designed for efficient fish feeding in aquaculture. By integrating IoT technology and a mobile app, the project aims to reduce labor costs and improve feeding practices while addressing challenges associated with manual feeding, which previ-ously failed to adequately cover the entire pond area. The research specifically centers on Nile tilapia production. Experimental results show that the robot emulates manual feeding with an average response time of 1.82 s for feeding initiation and 2.17 s for movement initiation. It efficiently distributes feed across a 4000 m2 area in 9 min, outperforming the manual method, which takes 32 min. Fish fed by robotic boat exhibit an 18.71 % weight gain compared to those fed by hand. The robotic boat farm consumes a total of 11.480 kg of feed to produce 7.6 kg, while the hand-fed farm required 16.185 kg of feed to produce 6.5 kg. This results in feed conversion ratios of 1.51 and 2.49, respectively. The study finds an overall cost reduction of 46.13 % due to decreased labor hours. We strongly recommend adopting this robotic boat for optimizing tilapia feeding in earthen ponds.

In this paper the development of a voltage producing smart wheelchair is presented. This wheel chair can use the rotational kinetic energy generated from wheel spin to charge a power bank. In this wheelchair a motor-controller is connected with an arduino. It receives power from source and controls the motors connected with the wheels according to the signals given by arduino mega. A dynamo is connected with the wheels to convert the rotational kinetic energy generated from wheel spins. This wheelchair will help us to save the kinetic energy generated from wheel spin and use this energy to recharge a power bank. Features like heart beat monitoring system and emergency calling system are also added in this wheel chair.

Nowadays, people have a very busy and hectic life;thus, taking care of an infant constantly is tough. Especially for working parents, a modernized IoT-enabled baby management system will be beneficial. In these modern times, most children are taken care of by their grandparents, housemaids, or babysitters during the daytimes. In this work, we are using a very efficient and user-friendly technology to implement automatic swinging of the baby bassinet with sound detection of the baby crying using sound sensor and playing lullaby through speakers. The humidity sensor has been used to know the diaper's moisture level, and notifications have been sent to parents with certain conditions through mobile calls and text messages. A webpage using HTML and CSS has been developed, where parents/guardians can supervise the baby in real-time. Finally, the system will detect if the baby is in the cradle using the face recognition technique. This exciting feature is implemented by using a Raspberry Pi 4 (Model B), which is equipped with a Pi camera that will also offer the parents a livestream option. The proposed baby monitoring system is believed to be an improved technology for new and working parents and colossal help and riddance of unrequired tensions.
