This research was to study the design and construction of the electrical energy meter leading to an automatic evaluation of the preliminary electrical energy expenses. The design of the electrical energy meter and the standard energy meter were used to record the data of the electrical power (W) and electrical energy consumption (kWh). The measurement of the data were done from the 5 electrical instruments. There are the refrigerator, compact fluorescent, fan, television and notebook. Then, the data were automatically calculated to the energy price (THB). It was observed that the percentage of the error data of electrical power (W) was in the range of 1.6 +/- 0.7 to 4.5 +/- 0.0 %. Furthermore, the data recording of the electrical energy consumption (kWh) and the error of each instrument were observed. It was found that the value of the percentage of the error was the maximum value of 5%. The energy price from the electrical energy consumption of each instruments were observed. The minimum value of the energy price was 0.05 THB from the compact fluorescent. The result of the maximum value of the energy price was 0.27 THB from the refrigerator.

Currently, fuel stations are operated manually which requires a lot of time and staff to operate all the system. Customers are defrauded while dispensing the fuel by not delivering the exact amount of fuel, and during payments, invalid notes may be exchanged. So, an automated fuel station can be a solution to all the above-stated problems. In this project, an automated fuel station is designed and implemented which can work 24/7 conveniently. An automated fuel station consists of an automated fuel dispensing system, automatic level indicator of the fuel in the storage tank, automatic vehicle washing system, smart lighting system, and automatic fire extinguisher. An automatic fuel dispensing system is realized by interfacing RFID, GSM module with arduino microcontroller. Level indication of the fuel in the storage tank is made automatic using an ultrasonic sensor. Vehicle washing is done by spraying water controlled automatically through the movable frame. Light intensity is automatically controlled based on the surrounding ambiance light and presence/absence of a vehicle. The accidental fire in the station is handled by an automatic fire extinguisher.

Agriculture industry in the Philippines is one of the most important aspects in the nation's economic growth and one of the well-known local resources in the Philippines is rice crops. This paper anticipates helping the ease in production of a good quality of rice by introducing a remote-controlled paddy transplanter machine that can provide an accurate planting depth and paddy distances. In this innovation of a mechanical transplanter in the Philippines, it has a remote-control system consisting of an arduino microcontroller, Bluetooth module, and other electronics component to make the transplanter move and operate by simply pressing the start and stop button on the software installed on the smartphone. The evaluation of the test results of the remote-controlled transplanter machine shows that it can transplant the paddy at a depth of 1.5 cm and paddy distance of 25 cm x 25 cm. Overall, the researchers were able to design, fabricate, and test the transplanter machine that has an effectiveness of 85% and 82.5% on the actual testing on the rice field.

The purpose of the Fire and Rescue Service is to protect human life, our property, and Earth natural resources from fire and other emergencies. All the data taken from smoke sensor and camera will be send to data monitoring system and be display on monitoring system wirelessly.

This paper presents a wireless sensing technology using Zigbee communication cell for the monitoring of some physical quantities such as temperature, humidity, current, voltage. The aim of this study is to collect the measurements of the above quantities in unsafe locations. In this project eight communications circuits (zigbees), different sensors and transducers, Liquid Crystal Displays, and a Beagle Bone Black and arduino controller are used. The features of this design are low cost, low power consumption, easy to be used, the obtained results are accurate and the monitoring range of distance can be increased by choosing the type of zigbee cells. The arduino controller, and beagle Bone black (B.B.B) minicomputer used. The software's used for the project (C language) for programming the arduino controller (XCTU) for programming the zigbee cells, and the (JAVA Script) for programming the beagle bone black (B.B.B) minicomputer.

This project is a prototype of data glove which has ability to convert the movement of figure into visual display and audible sound of predefined language. I have seen many people who find it difficult to communicate with other due to language problem or due to problem in vocal chord. In a diverse country like INDIA where various types of mother tongues is spoken. People form one region of country when travelled to other region find it difficult to convey their message, which make it tedious to survive them in other region. So this data glove can convert the speaker language into the listener language which make it possible to easy communication between different language speaker. There is approximately 70 million people in world who are deaf and dumb. These people use sign language to communicate with each other. But the person with no disability in vocal chord does not learn sign language, this means that not everyone can understand sign language. So it will be a tedious task for deaf or dumb person to communicate with other person having no knowledge of sign language. This data glove can be used to replace code language which is used during war. A particular command can be converted into a gesture and the commanding officer have to make particular gesture using his hand and the command is displayed on the command receiving personnel. Data glove consists of flex sensor. In this prototype I have used 3 flex sensor which produce 8 output result. You can increase no of flex sensor up to 5 on one glove which can produce 32 output. The output produce by combination of flex sensor on data glove is in analog form which is feeded to ADC channel of arduino microcontroller. Analog to digital converter of microcontroller convert the analog input into digital form. This digital pattern is compared with stored data and then according to comparing result a particular sentence or word is displayed on a 16 * 2 LCD and same word or sentence is played on an 8 0 speaker. This paper presents an attempt to create a protecting costume for vulnerable people. The device that acts upon inflating the costume is based on an accelerometer, and all the data is processed by an arduino microcontroller. The code is written in arduino IDE. The purpose of this costume is to protect people (elderly people, sick or with locomotion problems, children, etc.) who can hurt themselves by falling on the ground. The work done so far consists in detecting the free fall of a person or a sudden movement and triggering a very fast chemical reaction by the device and the costume inflates due to the resulted gas.

Based on data from Director General of POSTEL Indonesia, the prospect of Internet of Things in Indonesia reached 444 trillion with 400 million sensors connected. Various sectors are beginning to implement IoT as their automation systems such as industry, health, logistics, and agriculture. The proposed IoT system in this paper is using LoRa module transceiver and arduino microcontroller. The data is sent through LoRa 915 MHz from 3 node sensor to the master. After data received in master LoRa, then the data is passed through to the server to be analyzed. Based on the outdoor measurement at 1 km, Rx LoRa obtain the RSSI below -100 dBm with average of PDR 58%. In indoor condition the RSSI value varies from -46 dBm to -85 dBm with PDR above 90%. In outdoor area the path loss exponent value in range 2.81-2.92. Meanwhile indoor area path loss exponent value in range 3.76-3.90 for all client.

In the Philippines, Light Rail Transit (LRT) 1 is one of the most used public mass rapid transports by Filipino commuters in going to their respective destinations in Metro Manila. However, conditions of the trains have been deteriorating over the past years resulting to insufficient numbers of trains to meet the commuter demands during peak hours causing irate passengers, delays in train arrival and uncomfortably crowded stations and trains. Currently, LRT1 implements Passenger Limit Per Platform (PLPP) to regulate load capacity at the station platforms, prevent overloading of trains and congestion at the paid area. But the said scheme is being done manually which is tedious to staff and is prone to error. Thus, this study presents the integration of embedded system and different software applications to manage the crowd of all LRT1 stations platforms and trains intelligently. A Simulation software was developed to populate data to different stations that are relevant during operations in the absence of the station prototype. Integration and acceptance tests showed that all components of the system are functioning accurately according to the predetermined design specifications. The developed system proves to be functionally acceptable in terms of suitability and accuracy, and highly functional in terms of security. Thus, the overall system is functionally acceptable as perceived by the respondents as manifested by the mean rating of 3.28.

This paper describes the design of a self-sufficient system for lighting street lights using piezoelectric renewable energy source. In modern times, renewable energy sources are more desirable because of the lack of more direct sources of energy. In this project, we make use of piezoelectric materials to generate practically usable electricity from wasted mechanical energy. Piezoelectric harvesters are becoming increasingly popular because the produced piezoelectricity now can supply up to 10-100's of W of available power. In this paper, we describe the use of full-wave bridge rectifiers to improve the power extraction capability from piezoelectric harvesters and the further steps required to provide sufficient energy to light up smart street lights.
