The number of traffic accidents that take place daily have risen annually. Per the records of past years, vehicular accidents are mostly based on the use of wrong beam in different climatic conditions. The use of high beam during situations like fog or rain have caused the most number of accidents in the recent years and have become a rising concern. This paper proposes a prototype of an automatic headlight dimming system, constituting of three major sensors-LDR, rain and fog sensors which provide inputs to arduino uno which acts as a microcontroller to provide a control mechanism, that has been developed to toggle the beam from low to high or vice versa for driving scenarios when there is sudden change in climatic conditions or in the visibility(light) in the air. The project can be used in the field of automotive performance improvement or with the help of better experience that maintains the safety of driver as well as the passengers. The project is based upon aims to try to eliminate the human error of beam switching in wrong surroundings hence posing as a major security threat to the driver or the surrounding cars.

This device integrates the latest up-to-date and cutting-the-edge trending IoT technologies. Consecutive and selective sampling of the patient and home environment Health tracking is feasible by using ECG and blood pressure monitors. Important shifts in the patient's pulse and ECG can be observed using multiple sensors. This project is used to measure the heart rhythm using arduino and O2. It's just about maintaining track of many kinds of biological metrics, including heart rate, oxygen level, and temperature, which can be constantly monitored electronically and available, with no doctor present face-to-to-face touch, where the doctor can view the patient's data and relevant details whenever. Outline the effects of periodic visualization Patient Observations and symptoms are monitored using ThingSpeak.

Nowadays most institutions follow a cumbersome method to monitor the attendance of the students manually. The manual method of calling the students and marking the status of it on the book is prolonged and insecure. This paper, designed a new paradigm of monitoring student's attendance using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Global System for Mobile (GSM) communication technology based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The proposed model consists of both hardware and software parts based on IoT technology. The hardware part consists of components like EM-19 RFID reader, RFID tags, and GSM module. The software part consists of Application Programming Interface (API) to send information instantly to the registered mobile phone. The proposed system works effectively decimating the information of student status to their respective parents/guardian and even authenticated person with valid credentials can access the database from the server from any place and time.

In current scenario, health and safety of the hospital employees, health workers and patients fall on the highest priority as they are prone to maximum exposure of covid-19 attack. As technologists an innovative idea is put forth along with a prototype to enhance the safety parameters. This paper describes a simple and economic hardware implementation of face recognition using raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi is an efficient single board unit capable of communicating with the cloud. The system is made user friendly and more operative by designing a webpage, which records all the information from the camera, sensors and patient log in details and can be accessed by the hospital authorities. The system is programmed using Python language. The results reveal that system can be used for all the real time applications which demands for authenticated entry. (c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. The process of feeding laying hens in large quantities and on time manually will experience difficulties. The manual feeding method makes feeding less effective and efficient. A real-time clock (RTC)-based automated feeder for laying hens has been designed in this research. The purpose of designing a laying hens feeder is to assist breeders in automatic feeding management. This tool works by automatically feeding laying hens, which will be active at predetermined time intervals with arduino uno as the main system controller. Meanwhile, the RTC provides the time reading by arduino uno displayed on the LCD. Then, the Stepper motor functions as a feeding collection actuator and the Servo motor as a feeding valve actuator. This study revealed that the error value of one-week feeding in three feeding slots for three laying hens was 1.66% and in two feeding slots for two laying hens was 0.86%.

IoT based Smart shoe system for the blind is a system made with the help of ultrasonic sensors paired to an arduino uno board. Internet of things is all about making physical objects communicate with other objects or even with humans. It is an enabling technology which has a rapid development and growth in the market. In our India there are almost 40 million blind people among which 1.6 million are children. Blind people face great difficulty to travel independently. They have to depend on others in many aspects of their life. The Major problem is when they walk on the road. With a stick in hand they cannot detect every obstacle that comes in their way. The Smart shoe design provides a long-term solution for the blind to walk on roads independently. The smart shoe will help the Blind person to reach his destination independently. It is built using IoT Technology in which the shoe will be embedded with various sensors, Microcontroller and buzzers. The shoe warns the user by making noise with the buzzer when he/she walks in front of an obstacle. To improve the efficiency, Smart glasses are designed using IoT which is also embedded with sensors and helps in detecting the objects by covering a larger area. The smart shoe and the smart glasses communicate and coordinate with each other to ensure that the user does not collide with any obstacle in his way.

本文以智能家具中的遮光玻璃为研究对象,在提出一种具有遮光功能,能取代窗帘的玻璃窗装置的基础上,通过arduino这一开源的硬件平台,借助ESP8266和各种电子元件,设计了一套该装置的自动控制系统,包括自动遮光功能与物联网功能。该遮光玻璃装置通过负压发生器改变双层玻璃之间,遮光液体表面的气压,调整双层玻璃间遮光液体的液面高度,以实现装置在透光与遮光状态之间的自由切换。智能控制部分主要由arduino uno板、光敏电阻、负压发生器、磁通阀、ESP8266 Wi-Fi模块组成。arduino板通过Wi-Fi模块,利用Blinker与手机连接,支持用户实时监测外界光照强度并手动控制装置的状态。

The common problem with the existing embroidery machine is to identify the pattern of embroidery for the garment and to stitch using manpower. The large demand for embroidery layout in garment industry is not accomplished using manual stitching methods. Our proposed model proposes a smart embroidery machine which includes a G-Code controller for pattern generation and the pattern conversion to angular movements in motor is achieved by arduino uno microcontroller. A two dimensional adjustment in X-Y direction is utilized for needle movement and garment layer is obtained with respect to G-Code. The compact design provides flexibility for embroider to access large production of design patterns with reduced time and manpower.

Due to the growing number of people suffering from stroke or facial nerve damage which influence the quality of life, we propose an acquisition system that identify and classify facial expression by manual analysis of signals using an EMG. Beside these features, the designed system is able to save the records in a database so that these kinds of medical conditions can be seen when they first appeared and how they manifested along the way. The acquisition system has an interface created in MATLAB App Design, which facilitates the experience of signal acquisition and database creation. The signal acquisition occurred during the visual or auditory stimulation of four reactions, by means of videos made for this purpose. The extracted signals were manually segmented and analyzed. For that acquisition system, a cover was designed, and 3D printed, which has both a protective role and an aesthetic role. Although the paper investigates only a few facial expressions, it can be extended in the future to recognize emotions and even to make correlations between different facial expression and other medical conditions recorded in the database.

This project aims to provide a smart way of measuring the electricity consumption in energy meters using modern electronic gadgets where the communication must be established between the user and the energy meter (which follows modbus communication) for daily update of the consumption. To provide this communication, the unit data received from the energy meter is interfaced with the microcontroller (arduino uno) through Modbus function code technique. Additionally, RS485 TO TTL CONVERTER is used in the interface setup where it acts as a gateway between energy meter and arduino board where the values from the energy meter is converted into a suitable form understandable by the arduino uno board. The microcontroller provides two functions in which one of them involves measuring the units consumed by the user. Using arduino software application, the user can now read the values in their system which is being used by them. A service provider named twilio is used which is used to provide a message to the user when the user's electricity consumption had crossed the threshold value.
