The auxiliary array is the key to improving the interference suppression performance in vehicular communication, especially for various operating frequencies of radio communication and unknown directions of interference. In this paper, the effects of the auxiliary array parameters on the interference suppression performance are analyzed, and the maximum acceptable area model is proposed. After deriving and simplifying the analytical solutions of the weights and the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) after interference suppression, the efficient acceptable rule inherits suppression requirements of the communication radio, significantly reducing computational complexity. The proposed model focuses on maximizing the acceptable area in view of this rule. The gain of the auxiliary antenna is also obtained by the proposed model. Based on theoretical analysis, we designed the auxiliary structure, which can fully absorb the advantages of the loading and matching technology and avoid the limitations of the independent strategy. However, the structure parameters, including the topology and components of the antenna, are complex and interactive. Therefore, the intelligent method named the homogeneous Grasshopper optimization algorithm was adopted to consider these parameters comprehensively. Finally, it leads to a remarkable improvement in the optimization efficiency for not only the spacing but also the antenna parameters. Experiments based on communication radio demonstrate that the proposed model is very efficient and promising for auxiliary array optimization, and the implemented antenna achieves ideal radiation characteristics and high gain in a wide frequency band.

In this paper, a new technology of mainlobe interference suppression for radar system is proposed based on large aperture auxiliary array. The geometry of auxiliary array is firstly designed, and then two adaptive beamforming methods are presented respectively. In method one, the interference received by the auxiliary array is utilized to cancel the mainlobe interference of main radar based on the rule of Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE). In method two, the auxiliary array and the main radar are combined to construct one whole phased antenna array to suppress the mainlobe interference of main radar based on the rule of Maximum Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (MSINR), which can not only suppress the mainlobe interference effectively but also improve significantly the gain of target. The simulations are carried out to illustrate the performance of proposed methods.

The jamming in electronic warfare environment significantly degrades the performance of the radar system, especially the mainlobe jamming. The distributed array radar can suppress the mainlobe jamming by increasing the array aperture with auxiliary arrays. However, when the aperture of an auxiliary array is smaller than that of the main array, it results in residual jamming in auxiliary arrays after beamforming and affects the performance of the radar system. To tackle this issue, a mainlobe and sidelobe jamming joint suppression method with eigen-projection matrix processing (EMP) and null constraints is proposed. In the proposed method, firstly, the adaptive beamforming with EMP is performed in main and auxiliary arrays to suppress the sidelobe jamming with mainlobe maintenance. Then, the null constraints based on the Capon spectrum of main array are applied to suppress the residual jamming in auxiliary arrays. Finally, the minimum mean square error (MMSE) beamforming is utilised to cancel the mainlobe jamming. Simulation results demonstrate the jamming suppression performance of the proposed method.

A sorting algorithm is one that puts elements of a list in a certain order. It makes easy searching and locating the information. The most-used orders are numerical order and lexicographical order. An efficient sorting algorithm is that takes less time and space complexity. In this paper I make contrastive analysis of bubble sort and merge sort and tried to show why required some new approach to get best sorting results. In this regard we proposed a hybrid approach that will take minimum number of comparisons, with less time and space complexity to sort. Divide and conquer (merge sort) with bi-directional bubble sort approach is used and an example data is sorted with such hybrid approach.

Many classical direction of arrival (DOA) estimation algorithms suffer from sensitivity to mutual coupling of antenna array. In this paper, a stable estimation method of DOA estimation is introduced. This method is applying a group of auxiliary arrays, exploiting the banded symmetric and Toeplitz matrix model for the mutual coupling in a uniform linear array (ULA), based on the estimation of signal parameter via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) algorithm. The favorable DOA estimation can be provided without the knowledge of the array mutual coupling matrix. The correction and efficiency of the proposed algorithm are verified by the computer simulation results.

This paper presents an enhanced implementation for the classic merge sort algorithm which reduces both the execution time as well as the extra space requirements. The main idea is to modify the merge procedure such that it only moves half of the input array into one single auxiliary array instead of the conventional whole array and two auxiliary arrays. Experimental data proves that the proposed implementation is faster than the conventional implementation.
