In order to reduce energy waste and improve the dynamic load balancing of heterogeneous clusters, sensor technology is introduced into the Internet of Things technology to build a channel transmission model for heterogeneous clusters. Then use the dynamic weighting method to configure the output channel to complete the decomposition of the channel characteristics. In addition, based on the establishment of the channel fuzzy recombination structure model, the noise interference suppression method is used to suppress the multipath interference of heterogeneous cluster communication channels, and the equalization of the channel output is controlled by the baud interval equalization sampling method. At the same time, through the fuzzy balance configuration and spatial balance scheduling process, the dynamic load balancing processing of heterogeneous clusters is realized. The simulation results show that the method proposed in this paper has better balance for the load scheduling of heterogeneous clusters and reduces the bit error rate of the output signal. More importantly, the output balance and adaptive control capabilities of heterogeneous clusters have also been improved. (C) 2021 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

Network load balancing (NLB) is an important element of construction and management of fault tolerance in communication networks. At present, there are a lot of balancing algorithms both for standard approaches to networking and for software defined networks (SDN). An asymmetric transport protocol having the property to use the method anycast for parallel coupling with several servers was developed. The general description of SDN, TCP, and the first asymmetric transport protocol Trickles, as well as one conducted experiment in a network simulator in comparison with Trickles with some implementations of TCP, is presented in the article. A new algorithm for operation of the asymmetric transport protocol based on the experimental results is suggested. Several variants of using the asymmetric transport protocols in terms of SDN are discussed.

Production planning in the primary aluminum industry is a critical task, due to heavy imbalances among the main processes. As liquid production (reduction) has a very continuous and stable output, solidification at different lines have different operational paths (batch/continuous), shutdowns and variations in rates. Due to material's nature (hot liquid metal), it is not possible to maintain a buffer to absorb those imbalances. An adequate logistics planning for distributing liquid metal has to accomplish the solidification plan with an adequate usage of resources. In this paper we present the application of a simulation model to identify the main bottlenecks in the process, analyze dynamic system behavior, apply heuristics balancing algorithms and validate possible solutions for increasing casting capacity. The simulation model was implemented at Aluar's plant.

When modelling real ecosystems, a number of techniques need steady state condition to proceed in their analysis. In ecosystem network models this means that energy entering the system exactly balances the output. Steady state, however, is not a straightforward outcome of network construction and, to have this condition satisfied, network analysis uses balancing procedure. This operation leads to restructuring the weighted network, changing the values of some network flows;this can affect drastically the results of the analysis. Presently, two algorithms are used for balancing ecosystem networks: input-based approach and output-based approach. In the former input flows are kept constant while outputs and transfer coefficients are manipulated;the latter requires that inputs and intercompartmental flows are modified. This paper discusses the effects of these algorithms on some products of network ana lysis, in particular system level indices such as total system throughput (TST) and ascendency. Also it suggests four new procedures that, while balancing the networks, can minimise changes on measured flows and distortion on results of the analysis. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V.
