In this modern world a new technology is known as home automation has come into existence. Not only providing services for physically challenged people and elderly people but also it provides supporting system for the new modern world. The content in this paper summarizes the complete design which has been implemented. The Wireless Home Automation System which includes the application of voice recognition, makes this system simpler and easy to access. The next part of this paper includes foot step counter along with switching of light in automatic manner. The objective of this when the user has no time to install the application or if there is any error in connection of bluetooth, the lights and other loads connected starts working when the person passes the door. Here the voice recognition application range has been observed as 1.5 m. We can achieve 85.25% accuracy in voice recognition along with four parameters include. (c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. Traditional wheelchairs which operate manully are difficult to use without the assistance of physical strength. This paper presents a model of an automated wheelchair for disabled people. The proposed wheelchair is battery powered and uses an Arduino microcontroller to operate. The whole system consists of two parts, one of them is the sending end and another part is the receiving end. The sender end records instructions from the user's different hand gestures which are collected using an MPU-6050 gyro accelerometer sensor. The instructions are continuously recorded and sent to the receiver end using an RF transmitter-nRF24101 through an Arduino microcontroller. At the receiving end, an nRF module receives the signal for mobilizing the wheelchair on a plain surface. Additionally, the device contains a bluetooth module which can be used as a secondary control system. Hence our chair can be operated by a smartphone application too. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model is functional under normal circumstances with a fast response time which can be very useful for disable people to commute with.

Arduino UNO-based Solar powered Grasscutter designed to cut healthy grass in places like parks, hotels, public places, etc., The Grasscutter is designed through IoT (Internet of Things) technology, which is controlled remotely through Blynk application supported with bluetooth module. The proposed model consists of hardware components like Arduino UNO, Solar panel, DC motor, motor driver, rechargeable batteries and bluetooth module. The designed model is programmed through Arduino IDE to control the operation of the Grasscutter. The control mechanism and movements such as Forward movement, Backward movement, Right movement, Left movement, On mechanism, Off mechanism and Stop function for the Grasscutter prototype. An ultrasonic sensor connected to the head of the model avoids the system from colliding with obstacles while in movement.

A wearable device for collecting multi-signal parameters of newborn

In recent years, wearable health monitoring equipment has developed rapidly, but most functions are relatively single and can only monitor certain physiological parameters of the human body. This paper designed a wearable mull-physiological parameter monitoring system, which can continuously monitor multiple physiological parameters of newborns for a long time without affecting the normal human activities. The hardware circuit uses MSP430F1611 single-chip microcomputer as the central processing unit. The single-chip computer program completes the calculation of multiple parameters and sends them to the bluetooth module through the serial port. The bluetooth module receives the data and transmits it through the module antenna. After testing, each function module works normally. The results of the heart rate measurement experiments show that more than 96% of the heart rate data is within +/- 3 BPM (Beat Per Minute). The experimental results of arterial oxygen saturation measurement show that the error of arterial oxygen saturation is within +/- 2%. The results of arterial blood pressure measurement experiments show that the error between systolic and diastolic blood pressure meets the standard.

This paper put forward an ID calibration device for vehicle tire pressure monitoring system. The device uses bluetooth module to read commands from the intelligent terminal, and orders the vehicle tire pressure receiver to enter different diagnostic session modes via data interaction of CAN bus, which achieves reading, writing and updating of the vehicle tire pressure ID. The software of calibration device adopts dual producer-consumer buffer, and time-based task scheduler algorithm, which avoids loss or coverage caused by untimely data processing, and improves user experience.

The accumulation of dust and scrap in the floors of workshops and warehouses creates untidiness and many occupational hazards. To have a dust free and safe working environment inside the workshop, it is necessary to sweep and clean them periodically. Mostly the cleaning is done using hand sweepers, ride on sweepers and walk behind type sweepers. The process of sweeping can be automated in order to minimize the effort of human. The presently available electrically operated sweepers occupy large space and it becomes difficult to operate in congested places. The machine should be compact so that it can move to any place with ease. The robotic sweeper consists of a cylindrical brush and two side brushes. The cylindrical brush is connected to DC motor through pulley and V belt. The miter gears are used at the ends of the cylindrical brush to transmit the power to the side brushes which rotates perpendicular to cylindrical brush. The robotic sweeper is controlled using Arduino, drives and bluetooth module.

At present, the technology has been developing day by day. In this era, the home automation has become the most prominent and developing design. This is consist of an automated system that can provide luxurious and at the same time for conserving energy. Basically, this is the intersection of various devices to perform a single task. This paper is depicted about how to perform switching operations and at the same time to control the intensity of light as well as motor. This paper has limited applications, and this is very useful in old age homes and in hospitals to add up enhancement to the luxurious and helpful to old people. The goal of this paper is to create a fully controlled home automated system using smart phone that is wirelessly connected to Arduino via bluetooth module. With the help of application, we can control the appliances and at the same time control it.

To accurately detect the location of moving targets. Eight photoelectric sensors ST188 are arranged in a row. When an object passes directly above it, the output voltage of ST188 will change obviously. The voltage is connected to the A/D acquisition pin of STM32 to determine the position of the object according to the change of voltage. By adding a photosensitive detection circuit, the threshold of voltage detection can be adjusted in real time to achieve intelligent control. By introducing bluetooth module, the communication between multiple detection modules can be realized, and a photoelectric sensor array can be formed to achieve a wider range of position detection. The test results show that the sensor module can detect the position of moving objects accurately and quickly, and has certain practical value.

Most mobile robotic systems draw power from batteries which have a limited power life. Monitoring the status of the battery power on the robot is therefore important for autonomous robotic systems. The wireless system for monitoring lead-acid battery of obstacle avoidance robot has been developed. The system employs sensors, microcontroller ATMEGA328, and bluetoothmodule. The parameters such as voltage and current of battery are checked by the battery monitoring system during discharging of the battery. The varying discharging voltage and current values of the battery are detected using voltage divider circuit and Hall Effect current sensor, respectively. Battery voltage and current data will be transferred in real time to the microcontroller, and then it will be transmitted to display device using bluetooth communication. In this work, monitored battery data will be displayed on Microsoft Excel of laptop Personal Computer (PC) with Parallax Data Acquisition tool (PLX-DAQ). The real-time data of voltage and current will be indicated by the system in the tabulated form along with graphical display.

The purpose of this project is to provide a handsfree and hassle-free shopping experience to the user in the supermarket who suffers from the problems such as having chaotic time moving the baskets, overcrowding at one place for a certain product on sale, theft, spending a very long time standing in the queue in the counter for bill payment, etc. The project follows the user as per the command given in the smartphone application provided along with the smart shopping basket and installed on his phone. Customer will receive the total net amount of the bill he has to pay in the same application. The basket consists of the bluetooth module to connect with the user's smartphone through which the basket's movements are commanded over. The basket also avoids coming in contact with any obstacles that it faces by taking deviation while following its user using ultrasonic sensors. Each product the user puts inside the basket is read using RFID technology, where each data is sent to the supermarket's server for a total billing of items the user wishes to buy. The total bill amount is sent to the user installed application so that customer can use any online payment applications available to complete his payment
