MARVEL analysis of high-resolution rovibrational spectra of 17O13c18O and 17O13c17O

Spectroscopic networks, based on rovibrational line-center measurements found in 10/5 literature sources, are presented for the triply substituted carbon dioxide isotopologues 17O13c18O/17O13c17O (738/737, according to a well-established shorthand notation followed in this study). For 738/737, the spectroscopic networks contain 2058(1488)/1831(1349) measured(unique) transitions, belonging to 25/22 vibrational bands. The transitions collected for 738 and 737 span the wavenumber regions 623−7888 and 624−6739cm−1, respectively. These spectroscopic networks determine 945 and 877 empirical rovibrational energy levels for 738 and 737, respectively, extracted with the help of the MARVEL (Measured Active Rotational–Vibrational Energy Levels) protocol and code. The energy levels of 738/737 span the range of 0−8762/0−7201hccm−1 and the polyads from 0 to 11 for 738 and from 0 to 10 for 737. A detailed comparison of the empirical rovibrational energy levels of this study with their counterparts in two published databases, cDSD-296, and Ames-2021, shows very good overall agreement. © 2025 The Author(s)

ABSTRAcTDifferent natural and anthropogenic drivers impact the groundwater in the catchment area of the southern Baltic Sea, north-eastern Germany. To understand the sources and fate of dissolved sulphate, carbonate, and nitrate on a regional scale, in the present study, the hydrogeochemical and multi-stable isotope (H, c, O, S) composition of groundwater samples from up to more than 300 sites (depths from near-surface down to 291 m) was studied. To investigate the element sources and the water–rock–microbe interaction processes that took place along the groundwater flow path, a mass balance approach is combined with physico-chemical modelling. Microbial oxidation of pyrite using nitrate as electron acceptor and a superimposition by dissimilatory sulphate reduction at depth is shown in a drilled vertical profile at one site. This trend frames the behaviour of sulphate at many investigated groundwater wells. Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIc) in the groundwater was found to be controlled by the uptake of biogenic carbon dioxide, the dissolution of carbonate minerals, thein situoxidation of DOc and, at a few sites, the formation and/or oxidation of biogenic methane. Enhanced groundwater DIc loads may potentially increase future cO2degassing to the atmosphere upon release of groundwaters to the surface. These results form a comprehensive base for understanding the present situation and for future investigations.

convergent and divergent signaling pathways in c 3 rice and c 4 foxtail millet crops in response to salt stress

Salt stress is a global constraint on agricultural production. Therefore, the development of salt tolerant plants has become a current research hotspot. Salt tolerance evolves more frequently in c 4 grass lineages. However, few studies have been carried out to explore the molecular bases underlying salt stress tolerance in c 4 crop foxtail millet. In this study, we performed a multi-pronged approach spanning the omics analyses of transcriptomes and physiological analysis of c 3 crop rice and c 4 model crop foxtail millet in response to salt stress. Our results revealed specifically compared to c 3 rice, c 4 foxtail millet has upregulated ABA and notably reduced cK biosynthesis and signaling transduction under salt stress. Salt stress in c 3 rice plants triggered rapid downregulation of photosynthesis related genes, which was coupled by severely decreased net photosynthetic rates. In the salt-threatened c 3 rice and c 4 foxtail millet, some stress responsive transcription factors (TFs), such as AP2/ERF, WRKY and MYB underwent strong and distinct transcriptional changes. Based on weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGcNA), an AP2/ERF transcription factor Rice Starch Regulator1 SiRSR1 ( Seita . 3G044600 ) was identified as a key regulator of salt stress response. To confirmed its function, we generated OsRSR1 -knockout lines with cRISPR/cas9 genome editing in rice and its upstream repressor SiMIR172a -overexpressing ( 172a -OE) transgenic plants in foxtail millet, which increased salt tolerance. Overall, our study not only provided new insights into the convergent regulation of salt stress responses of foxtail millet and rice, but also shed light on the divergent signaling networks between them in response to salt stress.

VEGF-c/VEGFR-3 axis protects against pressure-overload induced cardiac dysfunction through regulation of lymphangiogenesis

Prolonged pressure overload triggers cardiac hypertrophy and frequently leads to heart failure (HF). Vascular endothelial growth factor-c (VEGF-c) and its receptor VEGFR-3 are components of the central pathway for lymphatic vessel growth (also known as lymphangiogenesis), which has crucial functions in the maintenance of tissue fluid balance and myocardial function after ischemic injury. However, the roles of this pathway in the development of cardiac hypertrophy and dysfunction during pressure overload remain largely unknown. Eight- to 10-week-old male wild-type (WT) mice, VEGFR-3 knockdown (VEGFR-3(f/-)) mice, and their WT littermates (VEGFR-3(f/f)) were subjected to pressure overload induced by transverse aortic constriction (TAc) for 1-6 weeks. We found that cardiac lymphangiogenesis and the protein expression of VEGF-c and VEGFR-3 were upregulated in the early stage of cardiac hypertrophy but were markedly reduced in failing hearts. Moreover, TAc for 6 weeks significantly reduced cardiac lymphangiogenesis by inhibiting activation of VEGFR-3-mediated signals (AKT/ERK1/2, calcineurin A/NFATc1/FOXc2, and cX43), leading to increased cardiac edema, hypertrophy, fibrosis, apoptosis, inflammation, and dysfunction. These effects were further aggravated in VEGFR-3(f/-) mice and were dose-dependently attenuated by delivery of recombinant VEGF-c-156S in WT mice. VEGF-c-156s administration also reversed pre-established cardiac dysfunction induced by sustained pressure overload. Thus, these results demonstrate, for the first time, that activation of the VEGF-c-VEGFR-3 axis exerts a protective effect during the transition from cardiac hypertrophy to HF and highlight selective stimulation of cardiac lymphangiogenesis as a potential new therapeutic approach for hypertrophic heart diseases.

Evaluation of dose linearity in the systemic availability and pharmacokinetics of topically administered diclofenac: A 14 c-microdosing study in healthy volunteers

An important safety consideration for topically administered drugs is the extent of systemic exposure they achieve. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether a topically administered microdose of the model drug diclofenac can predict the systemic availability, plasma, and tissue pharmacokinetics of a topical therapeutic dose. Eight healthy participants (6 men and 2 women) participated in a 4-period, crossover study. In period 1, a topical microdose (62 ± 6 μ g) was administered; in period 2, a single intravenous microdose (0.95 ± 0.03 μ g) was administered; in period 3, a topical therapeutic dose (120 mg) was administered; and in period 4, a single intravenous therapeutic dose (75 mg) of [ 14 c]diclofenac was administered, with or without the addition of unlabeled diclofenac. Venous blood, urine, and microdialysis samples from subcutaneous adipose tissue beneath the dermal application site were collected for 24 h post-dosing. Total 14 c-concentrations in plasma and microdialysates were quantified using accelerator mass spectrometry. The disposition of intravenously administered [ 14 c]diclofenac was dose-linear. However, after topical administration, the fraction of total 14 c absorbed (geometric mean and 95% confidence interval) was higher ( P = .0019, 2-tailed, paired t test) for the microdose (0.48% and 0.34%–0.67%) compared with the therapeutic dose (0.13% and 0.07%–0.22%) (geometric mean ratio and 90% confidence interval: 3.79 and 2.41–5.98). Dose-normalized 14 c-concentrations in microdialysates were low, variable, and did not differ between doses. Our study demonstrates the feasibility of quantifying 14 c-concentrations in plasma and microdialysates following the topical administration of a microdose of [ 14 c]diclofenac. The observed nonlinearity in systemic availability after topical dosing suggests that microdosing may not accurately predict the disposition of certain topical drugs at therapeutic doses. characterization and Expression Analysis of Protein Kinase c Gene from Dunaliella salina

Protein kinase c (PKc) has a crucial role in signal transduction for a variety of biologically active substances which activate cellular functions and proliferation. We previously isolated the full-length PKc gene from Dunaliella salina (DsPKc) using rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RAcE) and RT-PcR methods. And we submitted the mRNA sequence of DsPKc gene to NcBI (Genbank No. JN625213). In the present paper, the DsPKc gene open reading frame obtained by PcR was cloned into pGS-21a vector and transformed into Escherichia coli to generate the fusion protein. Bioinformatics analysis revealed that DsPKc gene was a member of serine/threonine kinase with two conserved domains and highly conserved motifs. The DsPKc was highly expressed upon induction with isopropyl-β-d-thiogalactoside (IPTG) at a final concentration of 0.2 mmol L 1 at 37℃. Under salt stress, the fu- sion protein Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP)-DsPKc was transferred from the cytoplasm to the cell membrane. The expression pat- tern of DsPKc gene was analyzed using real-time quantitative PcR, and indicated that DsPKc gene was up-regulated by 3.0 mol L 1 Nacl at 12 h, which was significantly higher than in control values (P < 0.05). These results suggest that the DsPKc gene plays an important role in response to salt stress in D. salina.

插补算法在整个数控系统中起着至关重要的作用,在使用面向过程的c语言编写插补算法的过程中缺乏直观性,不能很好观察算法的效果。针对该问题,设计开发了一套基于Simulink与c很合编程的插补算法仿真平台,对插补算法的S型加减速进行了实验仿真,实验结果表明插补算法速度规划和单周期位置插补均符合S型加减速规律,该平台利用Simulink适应面广、结构和流程清晰、贴近实际、灵活等优点,既能使用户减少进行算法仿真的代码书写量,又能在Simulink当中很直观地观察算法的效果。

Efficient c 3 H 6 /c 3 H 8 separation within a bifunctional ultramicroporous metal-organic framework with high purity and record packing density

The propylene/propane (c 3 H 6 /c 3 H 8 ) separation is particularly challenging due to their highly similar physical properties, but of industrial importance. Herein, we report a bifunctional ultramicroporous metal-organic framework ( co-aip-pyz ) with customized pore environment and selective binding sites for the challenging c 3 H 6 /c 3 H 8 separation. co-aip-pyz exhibits a good c 3 H 6 uptake with an ultrahigh c 3 H 6 packing density (931 g/L), as well as possesses a remarkable c 3 H 6 /c 3 H 8 uptake ratio with 911% and distinguished c 3 H 6 /c 3 H 8 selectivity (>10 4 ) at 298 K and 1.0 bar. Furthermore, co-aip-pyz possesses a record high c 3 H 6 packing density with 859 g/L at 313 K and 1.0 bar, which is unprecedented in the c 3 H 6 /c 3 H 8 separation. Its high performance for the c 3 H 6 /c 3 H 8 separation has been further confirmed by breakthrough experiments and molecular simulations. combined with good stability, facilely synthesized procedure by low-cost precursors, record-high c 3 H 6 packing density, as well as good c 3 H 6 /c 3 H 8 separation performance, it highlights co-aip-pyz as a benchmark adsorbent to address daunting challenge for industrial c 3 H 6 /c 3 H 8 separation. This work provides valuable insights into constructing top-performing MOF materials for addressing the industrial separation challenges.
