In view of security issues, this paper studies how to track suspicious human at the metro entrance and exit accurately and quickly. A novel tracking method combining Kalman filter and SURF algorithm embedded in camshift target trackingalgorithm was proposed. Firstly, the algorithm chooses target template for tracking by hand, then the Bhattacharyya coefficient is calculated by comparing the comprehensive histogram of chromaticity and gradient direction between the candidate target and the template target. If the Bhattacharyya coefficient between the template with the candidate target area is greater than the given threshold for detection, the tracking process will be failed. At this time, the SURF algorithm is used for feature matching on tracking result window in current search window and previous frame, and the size and position of the suspicious person are recalculated. At the same time, in order to avoid the failure of suspicious personnel tracking caused by occlusion, Kalman filter is used to predict and update the moving window so as to determine the central position of the search window in the next frame. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm can stably track the suspicious target personnel even when adverse effects such as color disturbance, partial occlusion, and complex image background occur.

With the continuous progress of society and the change of learning methods and teaching environment, research on the analysis of College Students' learning situation in the classroom is emerging in endlessly. The real-time learning situation analysis (LSA) system of college students mainly analyzes college students' learning status and behavior in the classroom, which can provide college teachers with the basis and means to effectively manage the classroom. Based on computer vision (CV) technology, this paper takes the students' listening behavior in college theory class as the research object, and uses camshift tracking algorithm to analyze the behavior of college students in class. On this basis, the system of classroom learning situation analysis (CLSA) based on CV is designed and implemented. Through the simulation experiment, the traditional algorithm is compared with the CV camshift tracking algorithm;The test results show that the recognition rate of this algorithm is about 10% higher in the case of facial interference, which proves the accuracy, availability and effectiveness of the classroom real-time LSA system designed and studied in this paper, and provides a new way of LSA for college teachers and students.

In order to obtain real-time accurate detection of smoke in the panoramic area, a visual -based smoke early warning system is designed. A 180-degree holographic and high speed camera is equipped as the video capture part of the system, and the video acquisition and target lock functions are implemented. The intelligent recognition function is separated into three steps. Firstly, the suspected smoke area is extracted by Vibe algorithm. Secondly, the camshift method is used to track the suspected area of moving smoke. Thirdly, the smoke is detected by the proposed fusion dynamic features. The interface of system is developed by the software of QT. The designed system can not only realize sensitive area monitoring function in manual mode, but also the intelligent smoke early warning and detection function are achieved in automatic mode. The experimental results showed the designed system obtained the advantages of simple operation, rapid smoke alarm and the satisfied accuracy for industry requirement.

A new synthesis method of fingertip detection based on single camera is proposed, which effectively reduces the amount of computation while not relying on hardware performance too much. It provides portability as well because single camera is easy to get in contemporary devices, such as mobile phone. The main idea is to use the curvature of fingertip as a feature to distinguish the tip-part of finger in tracing the motion of hand. The camshiftalgorithm is used to track the whole hand to diminish the detective region. The skin-color extraction method is used as an auxiliary part to enhance the ability of discriminating hand from background, which also helps to weaken the interferences produced by brightness of hand surface. Finally a serial frames is used to examine the performance of the new method. With the tracking part and the fingertip recognition part being tested respectively, the result indicates the performance clearly.
