cloud computing is introducing many huge changes to people's lifestyle and working pattern recently for its multitudinous benefits. However, the security of cloud computing is always the focus of numerous potential cloud customers, and a big barrier for its widespread applications. In this paper, to facilitate customers to understand the security status quo of cloud computing and contribute some efforts to improving the security level of cloud computing, we surveyed the existing popular security models of cloud computing, e. g. multiple-tenancy model, risk accumulation model, cube model of cloud computing, and summarized the main security risks of cloud computing deriving from different organizations. Finally, we gave some security strategies from the perspective of construction, operation and security incident response to relieve the common security issues of cloud computing. cloud-enabled datacenters need advanced support for an integrated management of platform virtualization technologies. The networking infrastructure of large-scale datacenters is implemented according to redundant multi-tiered architectures whose layers operate at Layer 3 of the networking stack. Splitting the network infrastructure of a datacenter in a number of IP subnets, however, creates limits to the migration of Virtual Machines, reducing the possibility for administrators to efficiently balance the load and reduce the energy consumption of the whole infrastructure. In this paper we propose an innovative solution that allows transparent migration of Virtual Machines across the whole datacenter, based on the coordinated use of NAT rules that need to be consistently managed across the layers of the datacenter networking infrastructure. We describe in details how our approach can be easily implemented with current network devices without any modification to their hardware and present an experimental evaluation of an early prototype of our solution.

Earth's behavior comprehension can be achieved by the analysis of Remote Sensing data, but considering the unprecedented volumes of information currently provided by different satellites sensors, the problem can be regarded as a big data problem. Machine learning techniques have the potential to improve the analysis of this type of data;however, most current machine learning algorithms are unable to properly process such huge volumes of data. In the attempt to overcome the computational limitations related to Remote Sensing Big Data analysis, we implemented the K-Means algorithms, a clustering technique, as distributed solution, exploiting the capabilities of cloud computing infrastructure for processing very large datasets. The solution was developed over the Intercloud Data Mining Package, which is a suite of distributed classification methods, previously employed in hyperspectral image analysis. In this work we extended the functionalities of that package, by making it able to process multispectral images using the aforementioned clustering algorithm. To validate our proposal, we analyzed the Ausangate glacier, located on the Andes Mountains, in Peru, by mapping the changes in such environment through a multi-temporal Remote Sensing analysis. Our results and conclusions are focused on the thematic accuracy and the computational performance of the proposed solution. Thematic accuracy was assessed by comparing the automatically detected glacier areas with manually selected ground truth data. Moreover, we compared the computational load involved in executing the respective processes sequentially and in a distributed fashion, using a physical local machine and cloud computing infrastructure.

Virtualization technology can provide these kinds of services by live migration. Live migration allows flexibly transfer of virtual machine from one physical server to another physical server without obstructing the services running in virtual machine. In this survey, we studied the requirements of virtualization in cloud computing, live migration of virtual machine and security risks in live migration when transferring a virtual machine from one system server to another server. We discuss the security risks in virtual machine migration and solution approaches which are isolating the migration traffic, network security engine hypervisor, and role based migration.

While compiling big data, cloud computing, and semantic web into OLR offer a broader spectrum of pervasive knowledge acquisition to enrich users' experience in learning. In conventional learning practices, a student is perceived as a recipient of information and knowledge. However, nowadays students are empowered to involve in learning processes that play an active role in creating, extracting, and improving OLR collaborative learning platform and knowledge sharing as well as distributing. In particular, billing management is very critical for both providers and customers. The creation of a billing management method that can quickly adjust to any business environment change is expected. Therefore, this paper first focuses on a customer-service management modelling method for info-communication services in terms of three view models, the service, cash-flow, and settlement. Then, the functions required to accomplish this are obtained for the billing management for future cloud computing services by combining these three view models. In recent years, Multi-agent systems (MAS) have shown their relevance to the design of distributed applications (logically or physically), complex and robust. The concept of agent is now more than an effective technology, it represents a new paradigm for software development in which the agent is autonomous software that has a goal, and operates in an environment and interacts with other agents using languages and protocols. With the progress of E-learning systems, the use of MAS in education field is essential, in fact, we propose to use MAS in virtual labs as a service in cloud computing that aims to resolve the synchronization troubles through interactions while using the same resource. In this article, we propose an architecture of virtual labs based on cloud computing and using Multi-Agents Systems. The introduction provides a generalized background of virtual labs based on cloud computing and MAS, then we highlight, on the one hand, the limits of classic labs and the importance of applying cloud computing in virtual labs. And on the other hand, the big interest of using Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) for best managing and provisioning shared infrastructure resources in cloud computing. In this paper, we present WCSim, Workflow cloud Simulator. Firstly, we argue that this cloud simulation tool offers a high level of accessibility by allowing the description of various components, such as users, infrastructures, and workload, of a given scenario simply by providing parameters at launch time, without requiring the extension of the simulator code. Then, we explain how we conceived the components for the simulation models and provide a detailed description of the implemented software. Additionally, we compare the results of a small scenario obtained from two other simulation tools with those provided by WCSim. Finally, we present a case study that illustrates the usage of WCSim. The paper also introduces the a abstraction to model workflows as a Direct Acyclic Graph of Bag of Tasks.
