In this paper it will introduce the improved camshift algorithm based on the Kalman filter, which is applied to track a moving target. Improved camshift algorithm is a algorithm that H, S and V components space is used to track a moving target in HSV space. The next position of the moving object is estimated by the Kalman. According to H and S and V, it can be appropriate to determine the track of moving target. The algorithm effectively overcomes the shortcoming of the traditional camshift algorithm. For example, it is easy to solve the divergence problem during the tracking. Finally, the usefulness of algorithm is validated by experiment.

This paper deals with the proposal of robust system for face tracking in real time, where several techniques are used for face detection in each video frame. At the first, the initial face position is searched using modified Viola-Jones object detector, and after that the position is continuously updated using template matching algorithm, simple Viola-Jones detector, skin color mask and Cam Shift algorithm. The system allows tracking faces of any size with arbitrary head movement (translation, head rotation). Furthermore, it is computationally fast, thus an eventual face processing algorithm can be easily performed.

In this paper, a new background modeling method using Gaussian mixture model based on Bayer color filter array is proposed. It improves the efficiency of obtaining the prospect moving objects in the color video. Besides, it is proposed a method that can track the multi-moving objects using the combination of Camshifit and Kalman filter based on the prospect image. Take actual moving objects detection and tracking as examples, this algorithm has advantages of quick speed and good accuracy. Ear detection is a challenging task in the ear recognition system. In this paper a tracking method which combines both skin-color model and intensity contour information is proposed to detect and track the human ear in a sequence frames. As a fast computationally efficient algorithm on color-based tracking, a modified camshift algorithm is applied to roughly track the profile image as the region of interest (ROI) and then contour fitting is operated on ROI for further accurate location due to the ample contour information the ear contains. Experiment results show that this method can meet the real-time requirement and works well in practical situations.

Diplomová práce se zabývá automatickou regulací velikosti písma podle vzdálenosti čtenáře. Obsahuje teoretické seznámení s detekcí obličeje a následné sledování detekované oblasti v průběhu scény. Dále je zde uvedeno srovnání sledovacích algoritmů. Je zde popsán výpočet vzdálenosti uživatele na základě kalibrace a na bázi výsledku dochází k automatické korekci velikosti písma.
