In recent years, there has been a huge trend to penetrate renewable energy sources into energy networks. However, these sources introduce uncertain power generation depending on environmental conditions. Therefore, finding 'optimal' and 'feasible' operation strategies is still a big challenge for network operators and thus, an appropriate optimization approach is of utmost importance. In this paper, we formulate the optimal power flow (OPF) with uncertainties as a chanceconstrained optimization problem. Since uncertainties in the network are usually 'non-Gaussian' distributed random variables, the chance constraints cannot be directly converted to deterministic constraints. Therefore, in this paper we use the recently-developed approach of inner-outer approximation to approximately solve the chanceconstrained OPF. The effectiveness of the approach is shown using DC OPF incorporating uncertain non-Gaussian distributed wind power.

Considering the uncertainties of wind and photovoltaic power output and cooling, heating and power load forecasting values in micro-grid, the cooling, heating and power balance and power rotation reserve constraints with uncertain variables are expressed as chance constraints in this paper. And they are solved by transforming them into corresponding clear equivalence classes. Besides, under the electricity market time-sharing tariff policy, a scheduling model of grid-connected microgrid combined cooling, heating and power system is established, which considers both the economy and environmental protection of dispatching and the benefits of cooling and heating. The multi-objective processing method based on satisfaction index takes into account economic and environmental goals. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the validity of the model by analyzing the micro-power output plan and the corresponding dispatching scheme of cooling, heating and power loads.
