Education is a one of the most important pillar to play a key role in a consistent growth of any economy, especially for developing and under-developed countries. Today, the education has come out from the traditional class room scenario and spread its wings to collaborate with technology. The faculties and students have become more tech savvy as the learning and teaching process is utilizing the advance technology on regular basis. Due to digitalization and virtualization of teaching resources through the Internet, and adoption of cloud Computing by educational institutions has been significantly increased. Despite the heavily increasing pressure of financial obligations for educational institutions to deliver state of art facilities with minimum resources and maximum efforts the Educational institutions, both public and private must utilize the potential advantage of cloud Computing to ensure high quality service regardless of the minimal resources available the cloud computing is growing and acting as a game changer in academia because of its various advantages and usages. Now Educational institutions are using various cloud-based applications provided by the various service providers to ensure that their faculties, wards and other stack holders can perform both academic as well as non-academics tasks. Thus, this research will seek to establish the benefits associated with the use of cloud computing in Educational Institution. The solutions provided by the cloud technology ensure that the research and development, as well as the teaching is more sustainable and efficient, thus positively influencing the quality of learning and teaching within Educational Institution. This paper presents research outcomes on formation and operation management of virtual enterprises (VE). A VE is considered as a temporary alliance of manufacturing companies with the objective to exploit fastchanging business opportunities and to meet demands of globalized markets. In the operational phase of the VE, its collaborative member companies - which are geographically distributed and organizationally independent, cooperate with each other to execute different essential business processes. Keeping this business objective in mind, this paper proposes an integration framework of VE, where necessary data exchange and management among the partner companies are monitored and controlled by the help of cloudbaseddata repository system. The cloud-based data storage system which provides the necessary datastorage and retrieval facilities to execute the VE processes is elaborated within this research scope. A case example is also presented that highlights required interfacing and adaptation of the essential VE business processes with the help from cloud-based data storage and retrieval system.

Sensors are gaining a ubiquitous status over many application domains with regard to enabling data-driven decision making and smart functionality. Integration of sensors with cloud-based data storage and analysis has the potential to significantly enhance the efficiencies, resilience and adaptability of managing smart infrastructure management. In this context, a standout application is smart grid, which provides an electricity delivery service with the ability to monitor, protect and optimize various operations of its connected elements from service provider to consumer. An ability to read and manage smart grid measurements remotely using wireless sensors is an important advantage that allows the grid operators to balance loads effectively and enable on-demand services for various entities. However, the adoption of cloud infrastructure to manage sensor data in a smart grid poses significant risks to data security and consumers privacy. The data maybe exposed to malicious or unwarranted parties, with the potential for various security attacks that may impact data integrity, availability and accountability. We propose a secure and practical billing model using homomorphic encryption within a cloud-baseddata processing framework. Moving billing management into the cloud securely, with on-demand data retrieval and statistical computations is a major strength of the proposed framework.
