With fast advances in camera sensor devices and wide applications of wireless camera sensor networks (WCSNs), optimizing the tradeoff between power consumption and coverage rate of WCSNs attracts a great deal of research attention. In contrast to 2D WCSNs, 3D WCSNs capture more accurate and comprehensive information for surveillant applications. The percolation theory has been proved to be powerful and effective in characterizing the exposure path prevention using 2D WCSNs. While percolation theory can be potentially extended into 3D WCSNs to improve the power and coverage performances, there are still many new challenges remaining unsolved. On the other hand, the clustering algorithm is widely cited as an efficient power saving and interference mitigation technique for WCSNs. However, how to integrate the clustering technique with 3D percolation theory in WCSNs is still an open problem. To overcome the aforementioned challenges, in this paper we propose the 3D percolation theory-based exposure-path prevention scheme for optimizing the tradeoff between power consumption and coverage rate over clustered WCSNs. First, we apply and extend the bond-percolation theory to derive the optimal density of camera sensors deployed in 3D WCSNs subject to the minimum exposure-path prevention probability constraint. Then, we apply the mutual entropy to analyze the dependency among 3D neighboring camera sensors, justifying the bond-percolation theory in 3D WCSNs. Finally, we apply the new low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH) architecture into our 3D WCSNs for power saving and interference mitigation. The conducted extensive simulations show that our proposed schemes outperform the other existing schemes in optimizing the tradeoff between power consumption and coverage rate over 3D WCSNs.

Real-time monitoring of surface water quality is an intractable problem. A Soft-sensor method based on fuzzy neural network(FNN) is proposed to solve this problem in this paper. Firstly, the river data was analyzed by principal component analysis(PCA) to obtain related variables such as dissolved oxygen(DO) and ammonia nitrogen(NH3-N). Secondly, a multi-input soft-sensor method based on FNN is designed. The training data is preprocessed by Hierarchical clustering and K-means algorithm(H-K algorithm), which improves the accuracy of the soft-sensor method. Finally, the soft-sensor method is packaged and applied to Beijing Tonghui River. The results indicate that the FNN based soft-sensor can predict surface water quality simultaneously with suitable prediction accuracy.

There exists a nonlinear relationship between fertilizer input and soil nutrient *** calculate the fertilization rate more precisely,a novel neural network ensemble method has been proposed,in which the K-means clustering method is used to select optimal networks individually and a Lagrange multiplier is used to combine these selected *** the basis of the above neural network ensemble method,a fertilization model is constructed. In this model,the soil nutrient level and the fertilization rate are taken as neural network inputs and the yield is taken as the *** model transforms the calculation of the fertilization rate into solving a programming problem,and can be used to calculate the fertilization rate with maximum yield and maximum profit as well as to forecast the yield. Furthermore,this fertilization model has been tested on fertilizer effect *** results show that the value forecast using the neural network ensemble is more accurate than that obtained with individual neural *** fertilization model constructed in this paper not only can precisely simulate the nonlinear relationship between yield and soil nutrient level,but also can adequately make use of the existing fertilizer effect data.

We consider a type of covering problem in the e-commerce enterprise retail distribution network, the problem amounts to determining the location of the warehousing and distribution center. In order to adapt to the e-commerce distribution mode and ensure timely delivery, a demand point can be covered by multiple distribution centers, a set multi-coverage model with the shortest distribution distance and the minimum construction cost as the dual target is established to determine the location of the distribution center. Finally, the example is solved in IBM CPLEX, and the calculation results verify the effectiveness of the algorithm and model.

Network splitting requires novel routing scheme different from traditional storage and forwarding manner. In the split wireless sensor networks, message ferrying method can be introduced toprovide normal communication for network within tolerable delay. The definition of network delay and packet loss rate in such routing protocol was brought out. The computation method of indexes was alsoprovided. Simulation experiment addresses tothe effect of transmission rate and node cache space on average network delay and packet loss rate. Simulation results show that transmission rate of nodes and ferry can enlarge delay,while cache space can reduce packet loss rate.

In this paper we present a novel algorithm for video anomaly detection. It is based on multiple local cells, which are acquired by splitting entire monitor scene. At each local cell, we group all feature vectors with clustering algorithm based on minimum spanning tree, and further model all groups using improved one-class SVM to build ensemble classifiers. For any new features at each local node in incoming video clips, we use the corresponding learned ensemble classifiers to estimate maximum abnormality degree. The proposed approach has been tested on publicly available datasets with frame-level and pixel-level criteria, and outperforms other state-of-the-art approaches.
