Composite DNA is a recent method to increase the base alphabet size in DNA-based data storage. This paper models synthesizing and sequencing of composite DNA and introduces coding techniques to correct substitutions, losses of entire strands, and symbol deletion errors. Non-asymptotic upper bounds on the size of codes with t occurrences of these error types are derived. Explicit constructions are presented which can achieve the bounds.

A weakly constrained code is a collection of finite-length strings over a finite alphabet in which certain substrings or patterns occur according to some prescribed frequencies. Buzaglo and Siegel (ITW 2017) gave a construction of weakly constrained codes based on row-by-row coding, that achieved the capacity of the weak constraint. In this paper, we propose a method to make this row-by-row coding scheme resilient to errors.

Channel coding is a technique used to boom the performance and reliability of records transmission. It is able to be used for facts compression and source coding, that are the procedures of reducing the amount of records that desires to be despatched across a *** of channel coding performance can be performed with the aid of analyzing the performance of the records compression and source coding techniques. This can be executed thru diverse measures, such as compression ratio, supply coding charge, mistakes detection and correction, and bit blunders rate. With the intention to appropriately verify the performance of the channel coding approach, all of these measures must be considered. The aim of channel coding is to reap the highest viable fee of data compression with minimal errors detection and correction, and bit blunders rates as little as possible. In the task of code translation, neural network-based models frequently generate semantically incorrect code that deviates from the original logic of the source code. This problem persists even with advanced large models. While a recent approach suggests using test cases to identify these semantic errors, its effectiveness is highly dependent on the quality of the test cases, making it unsuitable for code snippets that lack test cases in real-world scenarios. To automatically locate semantic errors in code translation without valid test cases, we propose the Knowledge-guided Semantic Analysis Framework (KSAF). KSAF decomposes the source and translated code synchronously and performs static analysis to detect semantic errors. This is achieved by leveraging fine-grained knowledge in conjunction with an AI chain-driven Large Language Model (LLM). In a previously studied benchmark of Python programs, our framework based on the GPT-3.5-turbo model achieved a correctness rate of 47.8% through a static evaluation method. This result represents a 37.2% improvement over the baseline using the same base model and a 13.4% improvement in correctness compared to the baseline using the GPT-4-turbo-based model. © 2024 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

In this article, we reviewed the basic principles of BCH codes, their features and advantages in comparison with other error correction methods. When analyzing data transmission in a binary symmetric communication channel using BCH coding, the features of this technology were studied. It was found that BCH coding really makes it possible to ensure high reliability of data transmission in the presence of interference. A model of data transmission over a binary symmetric communication channel was compiled in MATLAB Simulink. The transmission of data encoded by BCH codes with different error probabilities is analyzed, as well as a comparative analysis of the percentage of corrected errors with different code redundancy is carried out. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

There are many challenges when it comes to compiling huge lines of code or codes with huge time complexity. Also, if there is an error in the last line of the code, for example, a simple syntax error or a syntactic error, all the time for compiling the code is wasted. To reduce the time and to compile an error-free code, The novel 'Smart Compiler Assistant', a tool is designed to revolutionize the coding experience for developers by learning the words and structure of code. The 'smart compile assistant' offers guidance in the optimization, completion, and correction of code, that in turn, improves productivity and the quality of the code. Equipped with smooth interoperability into commonly used development tools, 'Smart Compiler Assistant', lets developers produce cleaner, more efficient codes with greater accuracy and less hassle, boosting the overall efficiency of the software development cycle. © 2024 IEEE.

Applications of Large Language Models (LLM) for source code analysis and related tasks arising during the development of an industrial static analyzer are becoming increasingly relevant due to the rapid development of LLM capabilities. The paper investigates several problems in the field of industrial static analysis, for which the use of LLM may be promising, provides quality evaluation of the results, key limitations and advantages for each one. Among the problems, the detection of 'variable misuse' logic errors and the verification of warnings generated by the the static analysis tools are considered. In addition to tasks directly related to source code error detection, several methods have been developed to address supporting tasks in static analysis. These include generating specifications for library functions based on documentation and source code, as well as translating static analyzer tests developed for one programming language into another. All the methods were implemented within the infrastructure of the industrial static analyzer Svace and were tested on the dataset, which is used for Svace evaluation. Conclusions of results evaluation and possible integration to Svace for all proposed methods are discussed in the paper. © 2024 IEEE.

In machine learning, one of the methods to solve multiclass classification problems is a framework called Error-Correcting Output Codes (ECOC), which constructs a multiclass classifier by combining a lot of binary classifiers. ECOC assigns binary codewords to each category, and the multiclass classification performance varies depending on the code. In this study, we treat each element of the codeword as a random variable and evaluate the average performance of ECOC. As a result, for M class classification if the number of binary classifiers is O(M), then the average error probability of various codes approaches that of MAP estimation. We show that the important points are the ratio between the number of binary classifiers and M and the difference between the maximum posterior probability and the second highest posterior probability for the categories. © 2024 IEEE.

With the escalating degree of networking within the computerized numerical control (CNC) industry, the information security of NC code is encountering severe challenges. In order to prevent reference errors, this paper designs an anomaly detection scheme of NC code based on incremental learning, and proposes a two-layer type recognition model of NC code based on ITI incremental decision tree and Bayes. Text preprocessing of NC code is carried out, and feature selection of processing result is carried out. The NC code data set is used to construct a basic decision tree learner with attribute statistics. The learning process of incremental decision tree, model recognition and transformation segmentation scoring process are designed. Finally, the validity of the incremental learning type recognition model is tested. The results show that the recognition accuracy of the proposed model can gradually increase with the increase of samples, which can reach more than 95%, and the misjudgment rate is less than 5%, which is better than the decision tree and Bayesian model. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

In coding theory, Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem (BCH) codes possess an excellent error correction capability, which allows them to become crucial for use in communication and storage systems. However, non-primitive BCH codes that hide interesting properties have received less attention than their primitive counterpart. In this work, we present an algebraic method to construct non-primitive BCH codes of length and dimension fixed, with a varying minimum distance, on a Galois finite field G F2^{m) for extensions of degree m between 4 and 10. In this method, we will describe the construction of generating polynomials using non-primitive algebraic roots and verify the parameters of the codes obtained with an Algebraic Calculator. The resultant list of these non-primitive BCH codes give optimal properties in terms of coding rate and minimum distance, providing valuable flexibility for the construction of Low-density parity check (LDPC) codes. © 2024 IEEE.
