A screw dismantlement machine is special equipment used in the ammunition assembling operation line. The controlsystem of the machine should have high reliability and safety. A master-slave distributing structure (The IPC+PLC structure) is proposed for a controlsystem. Industrial controlcomputer is in charge of the management of resources, assignment and control of slave machine, real-time communication, and the implementation of interactive action functions. PLC is in charge of the motion control of the machine, and standard modules are adopted in the configurations of the system. A redundancy design technique was used. All of the devices of the system were set reasonably in the design process. In the aspect of software-design, many measures were adopted to ensure the reliability of the machine. The controlsystem showed a degree of high reliability that meets the requirement of screw dismantlement machine.

CAN bus is one kind of serial communication bus which support distributed control and real time control effectively. In this paper, an intelligent fire alarm system based on CAN fieldbus technology and multi-single-chip-computer communication system is introduced. CAN (controller area network) is a fast serial bus that is designed to provide an efficient, reliable and economical link between fire detect sensors and fire control actuator. some intelligent algorithm or methods are adopted in the system to solve these problems, which miss alarm and error alarm are two difficult problems in the current fire alarm system. By use of the new technology of CAN fieldbus and single-chip-computer technology, Hardware circuit and software design for intelligent node SJA1000 based on CAN and fire detector are given. The designs of structure for network, parameter assignments for network and communication protocols are described in detail.

A communication interface controlled by eye movements and voluntary eye blink has been developed for disabled individuals who have motor paralysis and therefore cannot speak. Horizontal and vertical electro-oculograms were measured using two surface electrodes referring to an earlobe electrode. Four directional cursor movements and one selection were realized by logically combining the detected two channel signals. Virtual input experiments were conducted on a virtual screen keyboard. Its usability and accuracy were improved using our proposed method.
