By using xenon-light as a light source through the fiber bundle, the internal surface of tube is illuminated and imaged on the CCD optical receiver by endoscope, Then the direction and the size of the flaws are measured after processed by the imaging grab section and computerprocessing system. This system also can detect the pose water pipe of the aircrafts, the firebox of the aero engine, turbine and lamina which can not be viewed and detected nearly by human eye. Electron crystallography determines the structure of two-dimensional (2D) membrane protein crystals and other 2D crystal systems. Cryotransmission electron microscopy records high-resolution electron micrographs, which require computerprocessing for three-dimensional structure reconstruction. We present anew software system 2dx, which is designed as a user-friendly, platform-independent software package for electron crystallography. 2dx assists in the management of an image-processing project, guides the user through the processing of 2D crystal images, and provides transparence for processing tasks and results. Algorithims are implemented in the form of script templates reminiscent of c-shell scripts. These templates can be easily modified or replaced by the user and can also execute modular stand-alone programs from the MRC software or from other imageprocessing software packages. 2dx is available under the GNU General Public License at ***. Survey on published authoritative journals show that the global incidence ratio of acrophobia from 2014 Frdrikson is 6.3% for males and 8.6% for females, indicating that acrophobia has become a globally recognized disorder disease. Including heights specific phobia treatment is an important tool in acrophobia treatment. Especially, the exposure therapy is very effective in the actual scenes of terror down to reduce the horrors. For the exposure therapy, we use computerimage of the virtual reality system to reproduce the scene in the height of suspension bridge and virtual reality exposure effect of the transparent elevator. Results show that, there is not obvious difference between two treatment conditions, which indicates that the virtual reality model is effective to use and may gradually replace the on-the-spot feeling in the field.

At present, in the crop disease harm degree is graded mainly by measure with the eye or paper cut primarily, which is greatly influenced by subjective factors, and results in obvious error. For improvement on identification precision of crop disease, this paper developed a new crop disease grading method based on computer image processing. image preprocessing, segmentation and statistical calculation were applied effectively in this study. According to crop disease harm degree and classification standard, the crop disease harm degree was determined by computing the proportion of sickness spot area and the normal area on the leaf. The experiment results indicated that the identification accuracy was greatly improved, the grading time and costs is reduced by the manual evaluation, providing accurate data for the study of the crop's other aspects and has a broad prospect for application.

To preserve the sharp features and details of the synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image effectively when despeckling, a despeckling algorithm with edge detection in nonsubsampled second generation bandelet transform (NSBT) domain is proposed. First, the Canny operator is utilized to detect and remove edges from the SAR image. Then the NSBT which has an optimal approximation to the edges of images and a hard thresholding rule are used to approximate the details while despeckling the edge-removed image. Finally, the removed edges are added to the reconstructed image. As the edges axe detected and protected, and the NSBT is used, the proposed algorithm reaches the state-of-the-art effect which realizes both despeckling and preserving edges and details simultaneously. Experimental results show that both the subjective visual effect and the mainly objective performance indexes of the proposed algorithm outperform that of both Bayesian wavelet shrinkage with edge detection and Bayesian least square-Gaussian scale mixture (BLS-GSM).

The microstructure-property relationships have been studied in B4C-beta SiC materials for boron contents from 0 to 30 wt.% (corresponding to a range from 0 to about 45 vol.% of B4C). The materials were produced by sintering or hot-pressing of composite B-Si-C powders synthesized by solid combustion. In order to characterise the microstructure quantitatively, observations of polished sections of the materials, etched by potassium salts, were made by using the scanning electron microscopy, After binarisation, the data were eventually subjected to imageprocessing. For both coexisting phases (beta SiC and B4C) the distribution and mean values of the following microstructural parameters were determined: grain area, grain aspect ratio and grain dimensions. The electrical resistivity and bending strength were also determined for the materials characterised microstructurally.

We describe a new imageprocessing method for semiautomatic quantitative-analysis of neuronal morphology. It has been developed in a specific image analysis environment (IBAS 2.0), but the algorithms and the methods can be employed elsewhere. The program is versatile and allows the analysis of histological preparations of different quality on the basis of different levels of evaluation and image extraction. Some significant algorithms have been implemented (i.e. one for multiple focus image acquisition and one for automatic cell body shape recognition and classification). A wide set of specific morphological parameters has been defined to allow a better mathematical characterization of neuronal morphology as regards both dendrite trees and cell bodies. Cell bodies' shapes can be classified automatically, defining different neuronal populations. This is done by evaluating the number of main dendrites and perykaria shapes through a multi-valued-decision-tree based method, tested on somatostatin-positive cells in mouse brain. The methods presented have been applied to analysis of neurons, but they can well be used for any quantitative morphological study of other cell populations.
