China's relentless urbanization has significantly propelled the construction sector forward, simultaneously unlocking vast potential and posing complex challenges for the development of intelligent building systems. This paper introduces an architecture for an intelligent building integration platform that hinges on the connectivity between server and client. The server sends the collected data to the system, while the client displays, monitors, and manages the data. The whole intelligent building management system includes business system management module, authorization management module, client module, and data linkage module. The client module visually displays the data in the building through charts and other means. The data linkage module uses sensors, devices, and communication technologies to collect various environmental parameters in the building and equipment operating status and other information, and sends the information to the data center or the cloud for subsequent processing. In the monitoring of energy consumption information, the electricity consumption of Building C was 181 KWH;the water consumption was 98 tons, and the gas consumption was 75 cubic meters. This research significantly advances the field of intelligent building management by demonstrating how computer technology can be effectively utilized to monitor building energy consumption. The findings of this paper provide crucial theoretical and technical support for the ongoing development and refinement of intelligent building systems. This not only enhances our understanding of smart infrastructure but also opens up new avenues for innovation in building management and energy efficiency.

Technological innovation is redefining environmental quality by promoting green and efficient technologies. Keeping in view, this study brings a novel and sophisticated idea to address these challenges by promoting sustainable development and integrating key innovative determinants, including computer technology, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence with sustainable development. Our study employs panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag-Pooled Mean Group (ARDL-PMG), Autoregressive Distributed Lag-Mean Group (ARDL-MG), Autoregressive Distributed Lag-Dynamic Fixed Effects (ARDL-DFE), and Autoregressive Distributed Lag-Error Correction Model (ARDL-ECM) techniques from 2000 to 2020 to analyze this relationship among the top 12 semiconductor-producing countries. The results indicate that computer technology, artificial intelligence, and usage of semiconductor technology positively correlate with sustainable development among these tech-leading states. Apart from this, the findings reveal that the presence of geopolitical risk decreases the progression of the sustainable development index. Besides, this study provides important suggestions to the concerned states for designing effective sustainable development policies.

This article aims to discuss the influence of computer technology on the innovation and technology transfer of modern railway transportation. By historical analysis and empirical research, this article first reviews the evolution of railway transportation from steam locomotive to High-Speed Railways, and then compares and analyzes the performance of the improved multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MPSO) algorithm and traditional particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm in train operation scheduling through designing simulation experiments. The experiment selected the representative train operation data sets, and the first 25 and 15 data items are used as training sets respectively to predict the subsequent data items, and the prediction results of MPSO algorithm, traditional PSO algorithm and support vector machine algorithm are compared. The results show that MPSO algorithm is excellent in prediction accuracy, convergence speed and error control, and its prediction results are closer to the actual train running state, which verifies the effectiveness of computer technology in optimizing railway transportation scheduling.

A survey research study profiled foodservices and foodservice managers in health care and educational institutions that applied computer technology to their operations. The survey also examined the extent to which computers were applied to management and client service functions. Both the size and the type of institution were found to be significantly related to computer usage. The larger the institution, the greater the extent of indicated usage. Educational institutions used computers more than all types of health care institutions. Mainframe systems (time shared internally or externally) were the predominant computers used. Internal mainframe systems and minicomputers were used significantly more by educational institutions than by health care institutions. The manager most likely to use computers was a man of any age with at least a bachelor's degree who was employed full-time within the institution. He had taken at least six business management courses and had at least some understanding of and ability to apply systems management concepts to his daily management practices. Applications were categorized into five functional areas: menu, purchasing/storage, production, client service, and managerial information. Managerial information applications were most frequently reported by all respondents, with large institutions and elementary/secondary schools reporting the greatest usage for those applications. Several purchase/storage and production applications were significantly related to type or to size or to both, with large institutions and college/university foodservices reporting the greatest usage. Menu precosting was the only significant menu function, and that was significant only relative to institutional type. No client service functions were significantly related to either type or size.

Object language is a term that describes the messages that objects convey to people. This paper extends previous research on the object language associated with office design elements such as the placement of one's desk and office messiness by examining the role of computer technology as an additional form of object language. computer technology was operationalized in Study I in terms of the innovativeness of technology displayed in an office, while Study 2 focused on the portability of computer technology. Undergraduate students responded to photographs of faculty offices exhibiting various combinations of office messiness, desk placement and technology. Results showed that while computer technology plays a more subtle role in visitor attributions about the officeholder in comparison to office messiness or desk placement, computer technology does convey messages about work performance, especially time management skills. The main role played by computer technology is in terms of its interaction with office messiness. Results of the role of office design in impression management are discussed. Background The childhood vaccination programme in Coventry Primary Care Trust (PCT) has resulted in consistently low uptake rates for a number of years. After an evaluation of operational processes, an examination of the data systems was performed. Methods The under-reporting of vaccinations performed and methodology issues were investigated using data collected by the Child Health Information Department (CHID) and the Finance Department. Results Data held by the Finance Department result in an uptake rate of between 0.79 and 1.92% higher than those held by the CHID. Locally, the Southwest Child Health (SWIFT) system, the programme used to calculate uptake rates by many of the PCTs across the country, excludes those children residing outside the boundary but registered within it. Coventry PCT's Cover of Vaccination Evaluated Rapidly (COVER) statistics are based on a subgroup of the responsible population. Conclusions The computer technology currently utilized by the NHS provides inaccurate statistics for the COVER programme. Systematic under-reporting to the CHID results in moderately lowered uptake rates. A programming anomaly in the SWIFT system has resulted in the collection of data based on a subgroup of the responsible population. This undermines the validity of the statistics collected and renders comparability of data between different PCTs, particularly those using different systems, difficult.
