We propose a novel algorithm called Popularity&InfluenceCalculator (PIC) to get the most popular web pages and influent websites under certain keywords. We assume that the influence of a website is composed of its own significance and the effects of its pages, while the popularity of a web page is related with the websites and all the other pages. After that, we design a novel algorithm which iteratively computes importance of both websites and web pages. The empirical results show that the PIC algorithm can rank the pages in famous websites and pages with descriptive facts higher. We also find out that those pages contain more popular contents, which is accordant with our previous description of popularity. Our system can help users to find the most important news first, under certain keywords.

For two main problems of the existing stream processing model: lack of support for iterative computing and tight coupling, the paper proposes a real-time stream processing model based on directed graph with sources and sinks, which supports both general DAG computing by means of directed circle detection and iteration protection as well as iterative feedback stream computing of directed circles, tow-way arcs and ring arcs. On this basis, the paper has implemented a set of flexible interfaces, which supports functional programming and runs executable program directly to achieve language independence without performance loss. This computing model is applicable to a wider range with more flexible interfaces and provides an effective approach to complicated stream computing.

In this paper, we develop a model of a practical PSV-S with an emphasis on value creation for itself as well as for four other sources. This requires exchanges among five currencies. We then model a PSV-S internal structure recursively, containing four internal PSV-Ss, and six internal currencies.

This paper describes a computing model of a product-service-value system (PSV-S), especially its performance and behavioral models. We have developed PSV-S concepts as an abstraction of engineering solutions and processes. In this paper, we develop a model of a practical PSV-S with an emphasis on value creation for itself as well as for four other sources. This requires exchanges among five currencies. We then model a PSV-S internal structure recursively, containing four internal PSV-Ss, and six internal currencies. Initial models for external sources are based on supply-demand curves. At the end, this paper discusses the application of the computing model for virtual prototyping of PSV-Ss.

Nowadays, the internet generates vast amounts of unstructured data every day. And among them, the textual unstructured data is a very important part. How to find the real value from textual unstructured data is a huge challenge. Apache Storm is a real-time computation system, which is a free and open source, it can make up for the inadequacy of real-time computing. Based on the business requirements, this paper proposes the RUBP(Real-time framework of Unstructured Big data Processing) computing model which is based on Storm for the analysis of massive data, to find the value from these large amounts of textual unstructured data efficiently, accurately and quickly. The experiment proved that the RUBP computing model in real-time calculation of textual unstructured data is feasible.

A semi-centralized computing model is proposed for network computer systems, which enables clients to participate more computing workloads and to provide seamless operating experience for users while all management advantages of traditional network computer systems are preserved. The authors investigates the strategies for computing partition, input integration and display integration, and implements a prototype of video player based on the semi-centralized computing model. Experimental results show that it can provide seamless video playback and reduce server load dramatically.

In the era of modern computing based environment, the process of design is conceptualized, implemented and tested in a close loop integrating different modules of design, manufacturing and usages. In this regard, this paper presents a computing based design model for the design of a 'Pneumatic Driven Variable Buoyancy System (PDVBS)' for 'Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs)'. The presented design model is modular in architecture and integrates the design of PDVBS with design of AUV. The design approach is derived from the basic and advanced principles of mechanics and the approach is defined in the 'Computer Aided Design (CAD)' model in terms of different modules with implementation in Matlab*(TM). Finally, we present a design example of a PDVBS for depth rating up to 4200 m with application focused on a large AUV of length 7 m to show the efficiency and applicability of our proposed design model.
