Aiming at the problems of traditional centralized optimization scheduling methods, this paper proposes an improved fully distributed consensus algorithm to achieve optimal economic scheduling. More specifically, the consensus algorithm based on node aggregation and Adam's algorithm is designed to be used in the economic dispatch of load distribution in a completely distributed form, aiming to economically, quickly and effectively allocate the supply and demand balance of the entire system task. Finally, the simulation results of IEEE-14 node system are given in this paper, which proves the effectiveness and good performance of the algorithm.

Wireless sensors are often deployed in environments where it is difficult for them to discern friend from enemy. An example case is a military tactical scenario, where sensors are deployed to map the location of an item but where some of the nodes have been compromised or where there are other malicious nodes present. In this scenario, sharing data with other network nodes may present a critical security risk to the sensor nodes. Blockchain technology, with its ability to house a secure distributed ledger, offers a possible solution. However, blockchain applications for Wireless Sensor Networks suffer from poor latency in block propagation which in turn decreases throughput and network scalability. Several researchers have proposed solutions for improved network throughput. In this work, a comparison of these existing works is performed leading to a taxonomy of existing algorithms. Characteristics consistently found in algorithms reporting improved throughput are presented and, later, these characteristics are used in the development of a new algorithm for improving throughput. The proposed algorithm utilizes a proof-of- authority consensus algorithm with a node trust-based scheme. The proposed algorithm shows strong results over the base case algorithm and was evaluated with blockchain network simulations of up to 20000 nodes.

Digital education transaction object authentication service based on blockchain technology

With the rapid development of E-Learning, the demand for high-quality personalized education services and resources has increased rapidly. In order to meet this demand, a project called "Digital Education Crowdfunding and Crowdcreating Personalized Service Platform Development and Application Demonstration" was launched in China. The goal of the project is to provide a personalized education resource and service trading platform for producers, suppliers, and users by joint investment and collaborative creation. So how to ensure the authenticity and credibility of the objects (education resources and services) involved in this multi-party participated service platform becomes a challenging task. Blockchain is emerging as a promising technology that enables people to make secure and reliable transactions because of the decentralization and collective maintenance features. Thus in this letter we proposed a novel blockchain-based authentication service for digital education transaction object to resolve the problem of education transaction object authentication among different education institutions. We constructed information models for the two types object and stored the metadata information of the model on the blockchain to make it transparent and safe. And smart contracts are designed to authenticate education transaction object automatically among different education institutions. To improve the performance of blockchain-based authentication service, an improved consensus process for blockchain network is proposed and incorporated into our prototype system. Performance simulation is carried out and the experimental results demonstrate the practicality of our blockchain-based authentification service.

In the last few years, different researchers presented proposals for using blockchain in the Internet of Things (IoT) environments. These proposals consider that IoT environments can be benefited from different blockchain characteristics, such as: resilience, distributed processing, integrity and non-repudiation of produced information. However, researchers faced some challenges to use blockchain in IoT, e.g., latency, hardware and energy constraints, and performance requirements. One of the prominent solutions is the appendable-block blockchain, which uses a hierarchical peer-to-peer (p2p) gateway-based architecture. Additionally, current proposals present simplified evaluation scenarios, usually performed in controlled environments, which do not include important network features, for example, latency. Consequently, a model to evaluate a geographically distributed environment, for example, in a situation in which health data have to be collected from different countries in a pandemic situation, can help to understand the behavior and possible flaws of blockchains. In order to evaluate appendable-block blockchains in a realistic scenario, this paper presents an analysis of different consensus algorithms in geographically distributed hosts, in which latency can impact the performance of main operations in a blockchain, such as block and transaction insertion.

Development of blockchain technology and the spheres where they can be applied has led to the increasing demand for a necessary platform to meet all the requirements. To meet these requirements new frameworks and platforms have appeared. Tasks set for a certain blockchain greatly determine the choice of design and its implementation. For example presence or absence of tokens; whether it is documentary, private or public; for banking sphere or social need. All these criteria should be taken into account while creating a blockchain thus saving time and money. The article has reviewed and analyzed the existing solutions and what models they are appropriate for.

Electronic exchange of healthcare data between hospitals and institutions is limited by privacy, interoperability, and dependency on centralized data management systems. Sharing patients' data without their consent is a violation of the law and bears the risk of identity hack and misuse of healthcare data. Not all healthcare institutions follow a similar structure and semantic to store patients' data, making it almost impossible to share the data for research and better patient management. Centralized data management system is vulnerable to cyberattacks and data theft. It also creates lock-in problems for patients intending to migrate their data to any other institute. In this paper, a permissioned Blockchain with Proof of Authority (PoA) technology has been proposed that guarantees data privacy, data owner's control on sharing their sensitive information, and effective distributed management of healthcare records. It also addresses the importance of managing medical records in an interoperable manner, and the use of de facto standards such as Fast Healthcare Interoperable Resources (FHIR), which helps the meaningful exchange of healthcare records among all participants. The work is based on simulating the outcome of using PoA to understand the efficacy of this consensus algorithm when using Blockchain technology for secure data sharing.

In this paper, we propose distributed algorithms that solve a system of Boolean equations over a network, where each node in the network possesses only one Boolean equation from the system. The Boolean equation assigned at any particular node is a private equation known to this node only, and the nodes aim to compute the exact set of solutions to the system without exchanging their local equations. We show that each private Boolean equation can be locally lifted to a linear algebraic equation under a basis of Boolean vectors, leading to a network linear equation that is distributedly solvable. A number of exact or approximate solutions to the induced linear equation are then computed at each node from different initial values. The solutions to the original Boolean equations are eventually computed locally via a Boolean vector search algorithm. We prove that given solvable Boolean equations, when the initial values of the nodes for the distributed linear equation solving step are i.i.d selected according to a uniform distribution in a high-dimensional cube, our algorithms return the exact solution set of the Boolean equations at each node with high probability.

In this paper, the authors have attempted to address the problem of power sharing in networked hybrid AC/DC micro-grid clusters by utilising back-to-back converter. The hierarchical distributed cooperative control strategy is employed for both the AC and DC microgrid clusters (intra-microgrid control) and an inter-microgrid control strategy employing back-to-back converter for enabling power sharing among the clusters according to the required needs. The distributed secondary control for both the AC and DC MGs aid to reprimand the voltage drops due to presence of cable resistance and droop characteristics. It thus helps to achieve a regulated voltage at both the AC and DC PCC. Particularly in AC MG, it enhances the voltage and power quality. Further, it is worth noting that most of the consensus algorithms are asymptotically convergent and hence in order to achieve finite-time convergence, a modified consensus approach is used for the DC microgrid cluster. This is done to achieve faster consensus irrespective of the unforeseen disturbance/transients that may occur in the AC microgrid clusters. The distributed dynamic averaging consensus algorithm based on PI controllers (DAC-PI) is also investigated for robustness against physical and communication failures. With the proposed inter and intra-microgrid cluster control mechanism, power balance between three phase AC MGs and DC MG is illustrated in this work. This could be utilised as practical applications in stand-alone microgrids, marine power systems, more electric aircraft power systems and can be equipped with mode selection algorithms to enable connection to the utility thereby endowing flexibility and reliability to the network of microgrid clusters. Extensive simulations of test-cases are provided with MATLAB/Simpowersystems platform to elucidate the performance of the proposed control strategy and the hybrid infrastructure.

COMPUTING ISOGENIES FROM MODULAR EQUATIONS IN GENUS TWO

Consider two genus 2 curves over a field whose Jacobians are linked by an isogeny of known type: either an -isogeny or, in the real multiplication case, an isogeny with cyclic kernel. We present a completely algebraic algorithm to compute this isogeny using modular equations of either Siegel or Hilbert type.
