The blockchain is a decentralized distributed accounting system. With the development of the blockchain technology and its wide application, the core of the decentralization-consensus algorithm has attracted the attention of researchers. However, the previous POW mining consensus algorithm is a low-efficiency and high-cost consensus mechanism. In this paper, we propose an MPC-DPOS election consensus algorithm, which is improved by integrating the logic ring-based election algorithm and the Yao's millionaire algorithm into the basic DPOS algorithm to address secure multi-party computation problem. Specifically, the MPC-DPOS algorithm first selects the 101 candidate nodes from the many nodes of the blockchain system into a logical ring in the first stage, which will participate in the next election process of the proxy nodes to generate new blocks. In addition, since the weights are compared while the shares are not known, Yao's millionaire algorithm is added in the second election process, and the agent nodes are selected to generate new blocks finally. Extensive experiments show that the proposed MPC-DPOS election consensus algorithm achieves state-of-the-art performance with the respect to safety and adaptability to meet the high efficiency and low-cost requirements of commercial applications.

In order to solve the problem of power quality (PQ) of transport power supply system (TPSS) in electrified railways, a distributed voltage unbalance (VU) collaborative compensation strategy is proposed. To utilize the compensator capacity of Static Var Generator (SVG) and photovoltaic (PV) converter effectively, this paper focuses on developing a dynamic consensus algorithm to reactive power sharing proportionally among distributed generation (DG) units and improving the voltage quality at the point of common coupling (PCC). Therefore, making the output of the PV converter and SVG can be produced in the same proportion as its remaining capacity. With proposed methods, the transport power supply system reliability and flexibility can be enhanced. Additionally, the simulation results verify the feasibility of the collaborative compensation strategy.

The traditional industrial Internet platform adopts a centralized data storage model, and the security sharing of data generated by terminal devices is a major bottleneck that hinders the development of industrial Internet. Along with the geometric growth of terminal data, protecting the security and integrity of data has become the core research area of the Industrial Internet. Blockchain is distributed, open, transparent and tamper-evident, and can provide a reliable underlying service to realize a distributed data security sharing system. Therefore, this paper proposes a blockchain-based data security sharing model for industrial Internet platforms, with a distributed blockchain network as the core to build up a decentralized data security sharing service. Meanwhile, to address the problems of high consensus latency, low throughput and performance, and no support for node dynamic management of the practical Byzantine fault-tolerant (PBFT) algorithm used in blockchain, a simplified consistency protocol and a new node management mechanism are introduced to achieve dynamic management of nodes while reducing the complexity of algorithm communication.

Distributed energy storage units are often used in isolated DC microgrid. To prevent overcharge and discharge of energy storage units, it is necessary to balance the SOC of each energy storage unit to facilitate the monitoring of SOC of energy storage units. Therefore, the consensus algorithm is used to balance the real-time SOC of each energy storage unit. Combined with adaptive droop control, the output current of each energy storage unit is controlled, and the current proportion coefficient is defined. At the same time, the control strategy considers the difference of line impedance of each energy storage unit and can ensure the stability of bus voltage of islanded DC microgrid when the system operation reaches steady state. The influence of DC load change on SOC balance of each energy storage unit in islanded DC microgrid is also considered. Finally, the control strategy is simulated and verified in MATLAB/Simulink.

Blockchain technology has recently witnessed a rapid proliferation across multiple industries and has the potential to evolve as a popular energy transaction platform for grid operators and general users. The current proof-of-work consensus algorithm used by many blockchain protocols suffer from vulnerabilities such as the majority attacks problem and strip mining. The algorithm often requires specialized application-specific hardware and involves energy-intensive computation, making it an unlikely candidate for power grid applications. On the other hand, the proof-of-stake consensus algorithm is susceptible to the well-known nothing-at-stake vulnerability issue, making it equally unlikely to be used in large-scale secured energy transactions. An energy-efficient locational marginal pricing-based hybrid proof-of-work, proof-of-stake consensus algorithm is proposed to mitigate such risks. The hybrid consensus algorithm uses an optimized market-based energy pricing model to select the mining and forging nodes. A detailed framework of the hybrid consensus algorithm is provided, along with an overview of its potential application to record large volumes of energy transactions and execute obligatory smart-contract agreements.

Blockchain technology has become a foundational component for constructing decentralized, secure, and immutable distributed systems. The consensus mechanism ensures that all nodes in a blockchain network reach agreement on a single version of truth, thereby maintaining data consistency across the distributed ledger. The earliest blockchain application, Bitcoin, adopts Proof of Work (PoW), which provides high security at the cost of substantial computational power and energy consumption. Ethereum employs Proof of Stake (PoS) to reduce energy consumption, though it introduces new challenges in the fairness of node selection. Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) has gained significant attention for its ability to achieve more efficient consensus by reducing computational and energy demands. However, traditional PBFT still requires extensive message exchanges and voting among nodes, leading to significant communication overhead in large-scale networks. To address these limitations and further enhance the performance of PBFT, we propose the Comprehensive Trust-based PBFT (CTPBFT) algorithm. CT-PBFT reduces communication overhead by excluding nodes with low trust scores from the consensus process, thereby optimizing overall efficiency. We conducted a thorough analysis and simulation of CT-PBFT, and the results demonstrate that CT-PBFT outperforms traditional PBFT in terms of consensus latency and throughput. Moreover, CT-PBFT is more effective than other trust-based PBFT variants in swiftly eliminating Byzantine nodes, providing a robust and efficient solution for secure communication in distributed systems.

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology and communication technology, the distributed optimization problem for distributed second-order multi-agent systems has received extensive attention. In this paper, a specified time convergence optimization algorithm is designed for the distributed optimization problem of multi-agent systems under undirected networks. Firstly, the sliding mode theory is used to achieve fixed-time convergence of the agent speed to the target value, transforming the second-order agent-distributed optimization problem into a first-order agent-distributed optimization problem. Secondly, with the help of the sliding mode theory, the agent realizes that the gradient sum is zero at a fixed time. Then, this paper uses the second derivative information of the cost function to design an initialization-free fixed-time convergent algorithm. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm designed in this paper is illustrated by case simulation.

This system has made several improvements on the basis of the traditional substation monitoring system, providing a new solution for the construction of the new ubiquitous power Internet of Things. This system focuses on the monitoring of illegal intrusion by external personnel, which is ignored by the traditional substation monitoring system. The entire system is designed as a three-tier structure of edge node-regional master node-server, and the computing pressure is distributed to edge nodes through edge computing. And realize the monitoring of outsiders through target detection and face recognition technology, and finally use the raft algorithm to ensure the data reliability of the entire system. This article mainly discusses the hypotheses proposed for the realization of the above functions, describes the structure and interaction design of the system, and briefly describes its hardware and software interface design ideas.

Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) is a deterministic consensus algorithm, which is widely used in blockchain due to the advantage of no forks. However, PBFT still has some problems, such as not being suitable for dynamic networks, requiring large communication overhead, and not being able to identify Byzantine nodes. Therefore, we propose Extensible-PBFT (EPBFT) consensus algorithm, it can take different steps to reach consensus according to the network environment of the system. Firstly, we add the election of consensus nodes based on verifiable random function (VRF), which makes EPBFT suitable for dynamic networks. Then, we modify the consistency protocol so that EPBFT can reach consensus with less communication in a stable network, and it can also identify Byzantine nodes and reduce confirmation latency. Finally, we simplify the checkpoint protocol and the view-change protocol, reducing the time and communication overhead they require.
